    this man was and still is unparalleled in his approach towards art and life. he was such a monument of humanity. a pioneer of creativity, a sacred vessel that kept on giving and giving until he could not physically give any longer. i am eternally grateful for his spirit. he moved me and still does to this day. i hold his words safe, i keep them in my heart. authenticity is what this world needs and what it has lost since he died.

      And he dared against all and against his time and all the time tides- until becoming pure art- from the artist he was, and still is.

    I have loved Bowie's music for decades, and not until his death did I investigate the divine MAN behind the music...and the Force that manifested the music, was a pricelessly compelling, Artist to the core

    A genius. He stunned me once more- I’ve been loving him for decades and only now I learn that he developed a phrase scrambler program so that he could get new phrases from broken ones.

      That is fascinating! I heard that he used to tear apart his journals and piece together random sentences/words for inspiration.

      Carman is there some reason why you think young people would be more creative? In my experience they’re all being rebelliously different in exactly the same way.

    • @visionary9385
      @visionary9385 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well you have more to pull inspiration from as you age. That’s the way you should try and develop, use your experiences to grow as an artist. Most people these days aren’t really artists or at least they aren’t free enough to be one. A lot of artists seem to be in bad contracts and probably don’t have enough creative control, and the ones that seem to be, aren’t really original. They’re interested in pushing an image forward instead of any substance.

    • @steviesevieria1868
      @steviesevieria1868 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@visionary9385 originality is overrated. I have no musical talent at all and I can sit down at the piano and just bang keys. It’ll be totally original I guarantee it. 😂😂😂😂

    The whole DVD might be really great but this series of cut out is fantastic, and even the 'poor' editing is adding spice to it. Because i did not read your description and had no idea it was a cut out from whatever, and so these glimpses of other poeple around creating were great illustration of life and creativity at work,... and adding a very tiny bit of nonsensical disturbing chaos in the editing, given the topic (which I thought was Bowie Inspiration) did not harm indeed. Thanks twice then.
    I love his words on what being an artist is about..... "Always remember that the reason you initially started working is that there is something inside yourself tht you felt that if you could manifest it in somehway you would understand more about yourself and how you coexist with the rest of society" ..... and..... "If you feel safe, ....always go a little bit further, ....when you don't feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you just are about the right place...." Bowie, Be my Father!
