Last time I checked, Git mentioned Conquest!Rock Wrecker while explaining Conquest in The Most Powerful Characters in Gaming Ever series, bringing up it's problems.
Funnily enough Gilgamesh is probably one of the strongest characters in the FF series if you exclude powered up forms (if you include that the Neo Exdeath would be at the top), he could probably solo VI and VII
Plus, he was also playable in Dissidia 012. Of course... during his EX Attack, all but one of the blades during it are Excalipoors, with one being the true Excalibur! Plus, he seems to have a thing for Terra, Tifa, Yuna, and Lightning.
Gilgamesh is the kind of player who fell in love with a weapon design so much, he uses it and says it's underrated, but so good if you know how to use it.
Gilgamesh's death was what made me burst out laughing, the whole game it's just "i shall sacrifice myself for others" and they just using the trope to ridculous extents, and then, when you think it can't get more ridiculous, the comedic relief character, the one who just changed his mind on a whim in a ridiculous manner, also does the same They really didn't try to make it serious, either that or the writers just sucked
Gilgamesh was my favorite character to play in Dissidia Final Fantasy 012. Every attack you used picked a weapon at random, and, of course, Excalipoor was among them, dealing 1 damage to bravery per hit. He also had the chicken knife, which made chicken noises on each strike.
"It's the sort of thing Paper Mario TTYD would do as a joke and then expect me to laugh along with it." Having some pleasant flashbacks, eh Git? xD By the way, 9:40 nice beat. Maybe you should make a separate video for it?
Me: *sees Gilgamesh in FFVIII * Also Me: Oh, hey! Man, if there will be a FF anime, I would love to see him there. And I suppose, he's gonna be a goofball character.
in diablo1, there is a type of zombie called black death (they actually look neon yellow, don't ask me why). their attack seems to deal no damage at all and zombies are probably the enemy type with the least chance to actually hit, you since they are so extremely slow (and even if they manage to swing at you they don't hit particularly well). HOWEVER, the nasty twist is that being hit by a black death zombie lowers your maximum hitpoints by one. permanently! so in a sense, being hit by them is actually worse than dying because there is a limit to how much you can increase your character's maximum hit points, so it's a permanent penalty for your character you can never get rid of anymore, even if it's a multiplayer character that dies and respawns. whenever i see them in a game i quit instantly and recreate a new game to generate a different dungeon. it's just not worth the risk...
How about "the Dumbest Characters in gaming Ever"? You could talk about video game characters that make very stupid decisions, can be tricked very easily, and are very dumb overall
Here I come, rougher than the rest of them, the best of them, tougher than leather, you can call me knucles, unlike sonic, I don't chuckle, I'd rather flex my muscles
@@spongebobplushiestuff8612 I dunno; even though his mannerisms suggest that he has a lower than average IQ, I don't remember Big the Cat actually doing anything particularly stupid.
2:02 - "That's right, you'd actually do more damage punching your enemies with you bare hands". Reminds me of the original versions of Final Fantasy I, although that's not really intentional and only happens because those game are full of bugs and mistakes that got fixed in later versions.
Red Rust is actually very useful when fighting the Doppleganger boss. Hit him with it once and he'll be afflicted with Curse, making him unable to attack.
Here's another I can think of. Dungeons & Dragons Online's Wizards, Sorcerers, Clerics and Favored Souls have plenty of spells available right from the start. One that might get your attention is the Summon Monster series; you can choose one of a variety of creatures to help you fight, with Summon Monster 1 having a brown rat, brown spider, or a dog. Not very strong, but it can be a distraction for a few moments on elite and the spider will at least find sneaky enemies with its tremorsense for your low-Spot wizard. And it's just 10 Spell Points, not too costly. But 1: none of the monsters available scale with your level, and 2: stat increases from Augment Summoning and similar effects, all together, add like 6 attack damage and another second to their inevitably short lifespan. So a Hezrou that you summon with Summon Monster IX doesn't last long enough to warrant the 50 Spell Points you could spend throwing a bunch of SLAs, or Otto's Sphere of Dancing, or a good old fashioned Fireball; it certainly doesn't have the inflated HP total or attack damage of the Hezrous bothering you in Elite Spinner of Shadows. And if you want an aggro magnet and don't have a Fighter or something, Flaming Sphere already does that job better. If enemies see it first, they'll go straight for that silly ball of fire and proceed to never damage it.
FFV's Excalipoor is also the subject of several hilarious... Hmm... Glitches, bugs and exploits don't feel accurate, so let's call them oversights, where you can use the attack value listed on the stats screen instead of the fixed attack of 1. Several commands that are basically "an attack, with an upside" for whatever reason, ignore the line of code that makes the Excalipoor do fixed 1 damage. Goblin Punch is infamous for this, since it's super easy to obtain, and is definitely one of the better Blue Magics to pick up simply because of this oversight where it reads the attack power and not the weapon's whole code. IIRC, there's at least one other command that ignores the "always deals one damage" part of Excalipoor, but that might be exclusive to the SNES and/or PS1 versions. Also, if you're an IDIOT, you can yeet it at an enemy for 9999 damage. Unfortunately, that makes it too awesome to use, as meming with Goblin Punch/Excalipoor is hilarious and, as you pointed out, it's also the best Skull Eater Beater. (Getting Stalactite off of the Geomancer's Gaia command also works before you have Excalipoor though, and I use Skull Eaters in Bartz's World to just master Geomancer whenever I play the game because it's the easiest job to master, and with the cursor set to remember its position, you can basically just hold A to kill enemies in that cave)
6:24 Um, the game was made by Motown Games, the same video game company who also made Rap Jam: Volume 1, a completely flawed basketball game that featured many legendary rappers like Coolio, Warren G and Queen Latifah, yet their musical talents weren't actually utilized in the main game itself! Just dead silence in the actual gameplay, which already is suffering enough flaws as is, like lousy controls, the lack of identity between the characters, and for supposedly being the cure for insomnia! You are seriously underestimating Motown Games' ineptitude, good sir! But hey, at least they have provided you their material, should you be interested!
Weirdly, you can pick up a weapon in the first Summoner game that is two handed and completely useless. Using a two-handed weapon in Diablo early on is also dangerous because you need that shield protection as the warrior to survive. I don't know what it is about games putting in early weapons that look cool and are useless in practice. Other than inspiring disappointment and putting you off a weapon type early on, what is the point?
"If an attack doesn't do any damage at all ever, is it really an attack? The toy spitball gun can't kill zombies, so I guess that's not an attack. The helicopter - *sweating nervously*
I like that even in Dissidia: Final Fantasy, playing as Gilgamesh, there is an opportunity to get your Excalipoor and inflict 1 hp with several attacks :D
When I play Castlevania sotn, I like to go fists all the way. It is a fun way to challenge yourself and the fist weapons are really fun. The attack speed is also really quick.
Something about Deadrising I want to say is that the Handbag's value is what it holds after you break it. It can drop a bunch of different items, including handguns. And when zombies are involved, attacks that can knock down like the giant stuffed animal can be great for crowd control. That is- if you could store the stuffed animal in your inventory.
funny fact about dissidia duodecim's gilgamesh: his EX burst has a huge chance of picking excalipoor, dealing several attacks of 1 damage each... in the final fantasy fighting game, being defeated this way is hillarious (and humilliating)
It took me years to find so I might as well share my knowledge with anyone else that stumbles upon this video still: The intro music/song/track is from 'Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World IV - Menu Music' and can now be found on the 'M2 Music Memorial' album.
11:47 Ganbare Goemon 3 (series of games known in western like Mystical Ninja) have laugh tracks xD it is a snes game (or super famicom game), it's so cool and now there are english translations to the game so you can give it a try! It worth the chance believe me
Weakest attacks, eh? Going on the basis that they still have to do damage, I would suggest the rusted weapons in Fire Emblem Echoes (or 3H, for that matter). Another more temporary choice is damage moves based on health or level. For instance, using Night Shade at level 1 in pokemon. My major vote for weakest attacks, however, goes to the Ratchet & Clank 3 Holoshield Glove. It’s primary use is blocking attacks, but it actually can do incredibly small amounts of damage.
Frostbite in Skyrim. It costs money compared to Flames and Sparks, the former of which you start the game with and the latter can be looted in Helgen Keep. It has a 6 damage per second ratio like the other two and also damages stamina. Now the slowdown effect can be decent-ish but the damage is awful against anything higher than Level 1 and the vast majority of enemies resist frost (being Nord or Draugr, as well as several ice variants of foes). On top of that, magic damage is nearly impossible to scale - your destruction skill and boosting gear only lower MP expenditure.
I like those self made challanges on SOTN no armor fists only, red rust, tyrfing etc. I see the weapon as a handicap weapon for when your destroying enemys and want a slight challange. :3
Grats on the shiny Skwovet. Mind if I ask what nickname you gave it, if any? Bit weird that they didn't apply the 1-damage cap to Excalipoor in FF6 though.

The Anti-Air Missile Launcher is just *BAD* already, and Max further reduces its range anyway. Sure, why not.
Some of the magic weapons in the original Diablo could spawn with the "Useless" prefix, which gives them a -100% to damage! You could unequip these magic weapons and attack enemies unarmed even as a Sorcerer to more damage, since it would still be higher than 0!
Considering you really love rpgs.. Have you played persona? A jrpg and is a really good collection of games.. Though I would love to see yoshitsune be in the most powerful characters in gaming... Fusing him with repel or null or even better absorb elements passives will make him op give him mind charge and hassou tobbie and set up debilitated and any other power up spells and he can hit eight devastating damages continously... The ultimate main persona like Izanagi no okami or messiah are good but they get overshadow by yoshitsune
Dang, that is some really kicking intro music! Where is it from? Regarding the weakest weapons, the Cleric’s Mace of Contrition from Hexen is a good candidate. It is the worst starting weapon in the game: it lacks the power of the Fighter’s fists and the range of the Mage’s range, and to top it all off it is weak. Thankfully the Cleric otherwise has some of the best weapons in the game, though until then the Cleric is stuck with a glorified tenderizer. Not even Wrath Of Cronos, a mod dedicated to adding more to the game and making all weapons more powerful and versatile, could not make the mace much better.
3:23 Tyrfing is useless but it's only used for few things or just everyone doesn't use it at all, Maria as a boss fight in the center of the normal castle is also one of them, but only for the PSP (Dracula X Chronicles) and Saturn Port or newer I guess and why did i even make this comment
Super Robot Wars has a robot from Mazinger Z named Boss Borot. He can become absolutely busted if you set him up right, but this is a lot of work to help a joke unit become a lethal-joke unit. Just look him up if you're curious, it has a lot of history.
Funnily enough, Gilgamesh's EX Burst in Dissidia Final Fantasy (Either 012 or Duodecim) has him choosing the real Excalibur over a handful of fakes in a roulette before defeating his opponent. Choosing a fake is pretty funny. Only dealing 1 Damage, but still defeating the opponent anyway.
The Alucart Sword would be another imposter sword, but it's still probably better than Red Rust or Tyrfing. In Persona 5, the first truly dangerous boss is the plagiarist artist Madarame, and even all his elemental attacks are just copies of yours with fancier names. He also has a copy of Megido, a spell dreaded throughout the entire Megaten series that you probably won't learn for another 2 dungeons... but the 'Madara-Megido' always inflicts 10 damage to all targets at a time when any other attack he does will manage high double digits, and you're probably doing triple digits. Once again, a ripoff is nothing compared to the power of the real deal.

@Agent 005 Yeah, can't really see a use otherwise, unless for the memes
Last time I checked, Git mentioned Conquest!Rock Wrecker while explaining Conquest in The Most Powerful Characters in Gaming Ever series, bringing up it's problems.
What about Gyro Ball in Conquest?
'Why do we still have that sword?'
'Because it's a talking point at parties! All the lady GFs like to hear about it.'
Funnily enough Gilgamesh is probably one of the strongest characters in the FF series if you exclude powered up forms (if you include that the Neo Exdeath would be at the top), he could probably solo VI and VII
Well, if he wasn't a dumbass and got Excalipoor, he would be unstoppable.
Plus, he was also playable in Dissidia 012. Of course... during his EX Attack, all but one of the blades during it are Excalipoors, with one being the true Excalibur! Plus, he seems to have a thing for Terra, Tifa, Yuna, and Lightning.
@@christopherchasteen4990
I mean, who wouldn't have a thing for them?
Gilgamesh is the kind of player who fell in love with a weapon design so much, he uses it and says it's underrated, but so good if you know how to use it.
Wielding certain weapons reduces Alucard's attack power; Alucard is a Monk confirmed
Gilgamesh's death was what made me burst out laughing, the whole game it's just "i shall sacrifice myself for others" and they just using the trope to ridculous extents, and then, when you think it can't get more ridiculous, the comedic relief character, the one who just changed his mind on a whim in a ridiculous manner, also does the same
They really didn't try to make it serious, either that or the writers just sucked
Gilgamesh was my favorite character to play in Dissidia Final Fantasy 012. Every attack you used picked a weapon at random, and, of course, Excalipoor was among them, dealing 1 damage to bravery per hit. He also had the chicken knife, which made chicken noises on each strike.
fun fact: ff5's excalipoor deals normal excalibur level damage if you throw it a someone (i think goblin punch works to but im not sure)
Me: is a Final Fantasy V fan
Git: uploads a video with Gilgamesh in the thumbnail
Me: clicks immediately, likes immediately
"It's the sort of thing Paper Mario TTYD would do as a joke and then expect me to laugh along with it."
Having some pleasant flashbacks, eh Git? xD
By the way, 9:40 nice beat. Maybe you should make a separate video for it?
just imagine if the Excalipoor existed in ff9 ( more especifically using it in ipsen castle xD )
9999 damage instantly.
Me: *sees Gilgamesh in FFVIII *
Also Me: Oh, hey!
Big the cat
If I would see one character on that list, it would be Martin and his Solrock in pokemon swsh
"I trust you Lyon"
2:02 - "That's right, you'd actually do more damage punching your enemies with you bare hands".
Reminds me of the original versions of Final Fantasy I, although that's not really intentional and only happens because those game are full of bugs and mistakes that got fixed in later versions.
Red Rust is actually very useful when fighting the Doppleganger boss. Hit him with it once and he'll be afflicted with Curse, making him unable to attack.
wait, uppercut doing bs more damage than normal attacks
...where have I seen that before?
Wow. I didn't know having 0 Attack meant you literally could not deal damage in SoTN. Neat.
Odin: "I'll cut you in half!"
Seifer: *Plays Reverse Uno*
6:24
Um, the game was made by Motown Games, the same video game company who also made Rap Jam: Volume 1, a completely flawed basketball game that featured many legendary rappers like Coolio, Warren G and Queen Latifah, yet their musical talents weren't actually utilized in the main game itself!
It would be cool if the handbag could be used in conjunction with something else to make a cool weapon.
Yeah, that was great. He even says "This is far from he strongest of swords!"
Can we have the mole cricket from mother 3 featured in this series?
there is a third one weak to dark attacks besides the archer and belmont maria in some sotn versions like the psp and saturn
It took me years to find so I might as well share my knowledge with anyone else that stumbles upon this video still:
The intro music/song/track is from 'Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World IV - Menu Music' and can now be found on the 'M2 Music Memorial' album.
"An Imposter of the Imposter Sword" how ironic
11:47 Ganbare Goemon 3 (series of games known in western like Mystical Ninja) have laugh tracks xD it is a snes game (or super famicom game), it's so cool and now there are english translations to the game so you can give it a try! It worth the chance believe me
9:40 has a nice beat going
TTYD and the elegy of 100 apologies
Gilgamesh is and will remain one of my favourite characters in Final Fantasy
8:03
I want the source of that puking sound.
If you’re planning on a follow-up to this video, I can think of a handful of Mega Man weapons that could make the cut.
There's really only one that gets the title of weakest, though. Spark Shock is and ever shall be the most garbage Mega Man weapon.
@@DoctorNovakaine I dunno... I think Top Spin is the worst of any that I've seen.

9:40 This is my jam!
Also, I'm so finding a way to make 9:40 into some kind of song!
OK!! NEVER DID I THINK A SUMMON COULD BE KILLED BUT THAT WAS FUCKING EPIC-
6:34 Arm Wrestling, Megaman EXE's buster.
Nut Eater.

th-cam.com/video/mXU4t-1bi6U/w-d-xo.html
Though you CAN definitely make a case for Max's Anti-Air Missile Launcher still making you wish you were doing that vomit moment every time. The Anti-Air Missile Launcher is just *BAD* already, and Max further reduces its range anyway. Sure, why not.
I love that Git loves his red squirrels
I wanted this video for so long.
i love the time that gilgamesh said its morphin' time and then morphed
Gilgamesh has gotten a lot better with his swordplay, he managed to deal 2000 damage with the excalipoor.
fun fact: on the spanish versions the sword is called Excalipuf or Excalipoof
What system is FFV being played on? It looks like SNES, but it's got the GBA script.
*ALL FF EXCALIPOOR* : "No, you can't just do more than one damage"
*FF6 EXCALIPOOR* : "Hahaha 6613 damage go slash slash"
Some of the magic weapons in the original Diablo could spawn with the "Useless" prefix, which gives them a -100% to damage! You could unequip these magic weapons and attack enemies unarmed even as a Sorcerer to more damage, since it would still be higher than 0!
I like your videos.
You explain your points and are very well explained.
A subscriber for you!
The ultimate main persona like
Izanagi no okami or messiah are good but they get overshadow by yoshitsune
6:28 what if they meant to have kick/punch also take 3 hits like the uppercut but accidentally coded it with an extra zero so it's 30 hits instead?
That probably wouldn't happen.
3:23 Tyrfing is useless but it's only used for few things or just everyone doesn't use it at all, Maria as a boss fight in the center of the normal castle is also one of them, but only for the PSP (Dracula X Chronicles) and Saturn Port or newer I guess
and why did i even make this comment
Super Robot Wars has a robot from Mazinger Z named Boss Borot. He can become absolutely busted if you set him up right, but this is a lot of work to help a joke unit become a lethal-joke unit. Just look him up if you're curious, it has a lot of history.
I really respect your fondness for Castlevania, Fire Emblem, and Final Fantasy.
which version of ffv is that?
GILGAMESH!!! Love this guy, this make experiences more fun(My First battle with him was at FFXII,and as i remember he doesn't use Excalipoor to battle)
Lol bare handed is better? That is truly hilarious.
You hit the balls back with an uppercut which hurts more
9:40 Sick beat, though.
9:39
Can someone make a remix of this?
Gilgamesh: Faker! Zasshu...
If you want to talk about weak characters you should talk about Wes from don’t starve
the weakest character is one that drains its life to buff others.. if you think about it
So how many years has it been now eh git? 4? 5? 6? Shit man i cant even remember anymore
For what?
Judging by the thumbnail, Gilgamesh is crying with his Excalibur (Excalipoor actually)
Gilgamesh be like: *Why are we still here, just to suffer?*
Hearing SOTN is so nostalgic
"This is an impostor of an impostor sword!" lol. The weapon smith who forged it as a prank is having a breakdown right now as it failed at failing... Would that make it *_SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER?_*
