Great job. My next project. I just got finished fixing a Xiaomi Mix 4. I bought it from a seller on DH Gate and not only was it used, it had no sim tray and to make matters worse, there was a sim card stuck in the slot. I took it to a cell phone repair shop and the technician extracted the sim card, but he said that the slot was shot and mangled. I couldn't even use this expensive phone that I paid $700 for. I bought a new sim slot from Ali Express and finally did it 2 days ago. It's now working. Easiest cell repair that I've ever done. I couldn't get it repaired locally because of the esoteric nature of the Xiaomi phones not exactly being mainstream here in the U. S. Thanks for the video. I have 2 V 40's and one had the same problem with the swollen battery separating the body. Thanks for posting this video.
You are certainly welcome. What do you think of the Xiaomi? I have been long tempted by them. The only reason I haven't gotten one yet is I can't afford to buy something just to find out it won't work for my use. I cracked the corner of my V40 screen while doing Beta testing for Ecoflow. however the phone was no longer in service because it had a GSM radio in it and I switched to CDMA service so I just used it with wifi (still do its my goto phone for flying my drones or operating my DJI Pocket 2). Straight Talk offered me a free phone to switch from GSM to CDMA so I thought great. Except the phone is so slow its unusable. So I bought a second hand Galaxy S20 Plus and aside from there being no headphone jack I love it.
