Genuinely, I don't want a MMO skyrim like ESO, I don't want an MMO fallout like 76, certainly not one as poorly executed as 76. If Bethesda just made Elder Scrolls VI, or Fallout 5, Co-op, just Co-op, no 4 people, no 100 people, just 2, I would be content, and I am sure many other people would be as well.

It would be easier for Bethesda to balance and create a focused story around 2 players than 4, BUT if they do 2 players the largest obstacle to 4 player would be removed, which would be having the game recognize more than 1 player and account for more than one player, making the code/modding needed for 4 players easily creatable.
It was great when I was 13 and believed that Skyrim lore was pinnacle of the scenario possibilities. Everything there was at least playable and the rest turned in to jokes. But to be honest I don't care, you don't care and because of how game was what it was, we all have a great sentiment for it forever.

Each game has their own distinct style and gameplay. Morrowind and Skyrim were practically only made on the same tech in name. As for Daggerfall, it's pretty standard fare for late 90s action RPGs. If we're talking about the Elder Scrolls coming into its own you could argue Morrowind set the standard for Elder Scrolls games and Skyrim and Oblivion improved on it. Like Daggerfall is a good game with a lot of neat mechanics but don't tell me for a second you're genuinely interested in its world or dungeons.

Fun fact: It was literally impossible for the mudcrab to win against Ennodius Papius. This is because he is marked as a "protected" npc, meaning a player must land the final blow in order to kill him, otherwise he will not die. So it was rigged from the start.
Skyrim together is best with two or three people. The more people the glitchier it gets. (For example, I've played for hours with my friends and never once had any of the weird glitches in the video. Might just be lucky, but I've seen other people have a really stable experience.) Glad you guys tried it out. Maaaybe it didn't function as intended, but at least it was fun.

not only is astrid not essential, you can kill her and start an alternate quest where you help maro hunt down the rest of them, but youll be giving up some of the best uniques in the game along with shadowmere for like 5k gold and a handshake
Succo-gain Boi ESO is a lovely game, at least in my opinion. Just not the fact that you have to make specific builds to actually get through the game. You can’t just equip a full set of, say, daedric armour and be instantly op. If it was like Skyrim, then yeah it would be fun. But the armour and weapons system is just fucking garbage.

Cant forget that they had to work on both regular and special edition at once. Only recently switched to only making the mod for SE only so that they can work on it faster. Synch of animation, inventory and npcs was on their to-do-list and when finished will be the next update on harbor. We cant even call this early alpha of the mod since it is still crappy with so much to do.
if they can literally fix the guard duping, and prevent the world from "pausing" when the host opens any menu, then the game would desync a LOT less. as the main cause of dsync is the host pausing or opening the map, or their inventory
