The Formosan macaque once overran Taiwan until it was removed from protected wildlife.
That's wild to me, as somebody in the US, that folks would willingly breed alligator snapping turtles. I get the idea, don't get me wrong, but I'm assuming you've heard more than a few horror stories about farmers getting maimed by these walking tanks?

The person who abandon animals will be fined, well, if the Animal Protection Office is able to find the owner. After all, only dogs need to be registered now. To be honest, alligator snapping turtles are slow and prone to biting only when they are threatened, it is more safer than common snapping turtles. So government only banned the latter.

Do you know what happens when you start giving food to them? You become the lesser monkey in their eyes. It has absolutely resulted in aggression and attacks. This " habit " of theirs is going to be ruinous. If not for the locals then for the monkeys themselves when authorities are forced to put them down on sight. All because people don't bother to research animal behavior before doing something. And that's assuming the authorities reaction doesn't trigger some war between the two.

Australia, for example just about wiped out their population of saltwater crocs, but through conservation, in 1999 they were classified as of least concern, and that’s from being placed on the endangered species list in 1971. QUESTION: Humans are told not to help animals because they will depend on you and never make it in the wild, but then you have pets released into the wild and thriving.
