"I want the real deal whatever that means and whatever it takes to get there so I've been exploring.." -Chuck Smith Jr. Stop Exploring and start preaching the full counsel of God,...
@@beameup64 He was the best preacher I ever had and just a different personality from other well known pastors. I sat under Greg Laurie's teaching for ten years, Chuck Jr around five years, five years under Rick Warren, all great guys in their own lanes. Chuck Jr. was my favorite because he was sensitive, vulnerable, cerebral and very, very deep.
All I hear in these comments is preconceived notions of what he's saying and seeking after. Typical of so many Calvary attendees to assume the worst about those who are different, ask the genuinely tough questions and cast them out. Keep on majoring in the minors as Chuck likes to say.
Seems as if Chuck Jr has been eliminated from the Christian community by his own design... His website 'Reflexion Connexion' seems unmanaged and inactive. Something is not right when you go to the site
@vlas62 "What Jesus would want?" As if he's dead? As if he can't tell us what he wants right now? The truth lies between hell-fire preaching and self-centered mysticism, and contains elements of both. The church needs transparency AND strong preaching.
I'm sorry, I wouldn't trust jr. He went to a monastery for six months and had Catholic idolatry at Calvary Capo in 2005. He is emergent and the different levels of prayer he is talking about are most likely silencing or spiritual formation which lead to mysticism and the dark side.
"Teach a child in the way he should go, and he will come back!" Jr will come back prayerfully!
Who said he left?
He seeks the truth and he will find Him. God has great things in store for him. .
How refreshing! Thanks for sharing.
Love listening to his teaching!
Seems like he’s doing well! Praise the Lord.

Awesome!! Hope to see more of these :-)
Pray for Chuck Smith Jr. he is very confused.
Come on ... Is that a Christian statement....
Amen
He doesn't toe the line makes him confused?
...Something is not right here...etc...
Why was Chuck Smith jr never really that well known like other guys that studied under his dad like Greg Lourie, Raul Reese, Skip, ect?
Chuck Jr. has a totally different personality than those mentioned. Perhaps pastoring was not his calling.

You are not goin to change someone's view's by cussing & yelling. Yet i do agree the majority of your comment.
What did he question his dad about that he got thrown out of ministry
Didn't he leave Calvary for Catholic?

If you want the whole story you can read " NEW EVANGELISM The New World Order" By Paul Smith .
3Tim 3:7
You have to do all this New Age stuff when you don't have Christ.
What??
Not at all like his father.
A multimillionaire that refers to himself as "papa chuck"??? - Sounds like a cult!
