Original Xbox gave me so many good memories. Skipping elective classes in high school to play halo coop 😅 I got the JSRF bundle and fell in love with the game and it’s soundtrack. I probably wouldn’t have discovered it otherwise, so happy I got that bundle.
Halo was memorable. Played everytime I went to Nan's. The tutorial level, and first island driving the Warthog. I'd spend hours on that island not doing the mission.
When I worked at GameStop whenever we would have more than 10 copies of a used game we would store the extras in the back, it was a closet mostly filled with sports games but for some odd reason we always had an insane number of copies of Max Payne.
Now I am hoping Microsoft resumes adding titles for backwards compatibility on the Xbox Series X, so that at least most of these appear backwards compatible. We can all live without Halo 1 and 2 being made backwards compatible, since the Master Chief Collection already exists (and also due to the original incarnation of Xbox Live being shut down for 11 years and Microsoft not wanting to patch the games to work with the modern incarnation, especially when most games will be left unplayed anyway, that, and Halo 1 launching a year before Xbox Live, when the Xbox could have seriously benefited from Xbox Live on it's launch day rather than one year in), but there is a strong first-party and exclusive lineup for the system that needs to be made available again.
I am a snowboarder, so I bought the console just to play Amped. Amped and Amped 2 are the best snowboarding games ever to me. But yeah, I bought the console with the Halo pack, and Halo was absolutely fantastic.
One cool feature of Rallisport Challenge was if you uploaded mp3s to the Xbox HD, you could listen to them as you race. Really fun game. And I enjoyed Wreckless! Brings back memories as I owned a good portion of this line-up. Being that Im from America and having the Xbox before it released outside NA, some of these didnt exist until February/March.

I appreciated the effort made for that "ive played a ice hockey game before" joke
Fuzion Frenzy actually has some great games in it! but it also has some pretty crap ones, its a mixed bag really lol
When I got my Xbox when I was a kid, I got Jsr future, Sega gt 02, halo, Gotham project racing, and Tony hawk.
Rallisport Challenge was low key amazing.
Nothing, I mean nothing, will ever beat that feeling of walking out the escape pod and seeing halo for the first time
Now I am hoping Microsoft resumes adding titles for backwards compatibility on the Xbox Series X, so that at least most of these appear backwards compatible.
Where is Dark Summit? It was an Xbox launch title.
Everything I listen to this guy all I can do is think about him quoting Westley's lines from The Princess Bride... as you wish.
Reckless gets much better once you progress. Especially with the weird rocket car featured on the cover. My only complaint was the super cluttered HUD.
I've played most of them and for me JSRF was my favourite one.
Spit my coffee out at the Limp Bizkit intro. So frigging funny
