Dude, SAAAME. For me it was the skulltulas that stopped me from beating this game till I was 12. The ReDeads were also terrifying. The well is probably my least favorite part of this game (though strangely enough I find parts of the Water Temple to be scary? Not too difficult......but scary).
Did you say the water temple not that difficult? Yeah right. That was insanely hard back then and took hours to beat unless you had the cheat book to help.

I really hope tears of the kingdom brings back some of the down right scary atmosphere and nature back to zelda games. It's what makes ocarina of time still the best zelda game.

That's what I loved about the original BOTW: it wasn't necessary to complete the whole level, you could just get the Lens of Truth, kill all the Golden Skulltulas in the dungeon and be on your way. To me, that was the scariest level in the whole game, even worse than the Shadow Temple.
Seriously! I was dreading revisiting this part of the game as I'm replaying OoT. When I first played this years ago it felt like I'd spent forever in the BOTW (probably because I must have explored without the lens of truth), yet when I finally forced myself to drop down this time around by sheer dumb luck I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Granted I didn't hunt down any gold skulltulas, but that's because I just don't care to. I like that they don't force you to explore every nook and cranny of this place if you don't want to. The Dead Hand is also a very easy boss, despite his terrifying appearance.
Zai Zen have you played Master Quest version? That is too cruel, it makes you do all the fucking dungeon and in the basement there is FIVE Redead together 😂
The first time I played this game I didn't know what the zombies were. As I entered the town in the future for the first time and saw them standing around I thought they were people I could talk to. Then BAM, the first one I approached jumped on me and killed me.

In my imagination(no logic here bru like foreal) i like to think that gabora and zubora made the sword for ganondorf and the royal family or sheika found out. They got mad and tortured them ending in that zubora dies but gabora is too strong. They hang him upside down and cuts his arms off so he cant make another sword again. He hangs there until his heads explode. ANGRY because they killed his only friend he refuses to die and they curse him, lockin him down in the well in kakariko. If you search for gabora on google some old monster shows up that has a mask made of metal. it can be opened resulting in a neckpiece similiar to bongo bongos neck. its for fun but i definatly think something is connected between gabora and bongo bongo
Is this an emulator? The screen looks weird. I guess I just needed to keep watching the video to find out. I had a feeling it was because the items aren't at the edges of the screen they're in the middle. The resolution also looks sharper.

Talk to people in the village after the village has been on fire. They will tell you things. Also, if you talk to the windmill guy as an adult, he will tell you about the kid 7 years ago that ruined his windmill.
You talk to the windmill guy in the future, he tells you a kid played the wind song. I don’t remember but someone mentioned the well drained for this reason.
