Gotta hate this temple. As a kid, I remember being afraid of it. Way worse than water temple; the music and scenary it's a masterpiece, everytime I entered in this temple I would feel uncomfortable .
Shortcut: if you end up dying around the end of the temple (or get killed by the boss) and have to go back to the start, run across to the tongue and down the hall to that first laser beam enemy then through the fake wall to your left and into that room with the two spinning blades. Go to the far right corner of the room and you will drop through the floor directly to the room where you play the Ocarina on the boat that takes you to the boss.Also in the graveyard outside the temple if you pull back the tombstone with the flowers in the first row it’s a fairy fountain where you can replenish your hearts and catch a fairy for later.

I love the uniqueness that Bongo Bongo is: a dismembered human body, hanging from the ceiling, a thief that was punished by the royal family for stealing the lens of truth, tortured in the shadow temple, a place where the Sheikahs used to kill/torture enemies of the royal family; mutilated and beheaded, his body was buried in the bottom of the dwell and got immensely powered by its own grudge and hatred that the men that he was no longer exists, only the creature that the last thing it heard was the BONG Of the execution drum.
At 14:38...son of a...no wonder I couldn't find the bastard key! After so many years of not playing it, I couldn't remember! Also, you have mad skills.
We need a remaster of Shadow Temple, or a redone Shadow Temple that uses HylianEnsemble's take on the Shadow Temple theme for the bgm of the temple itself, and make it 4x as terrifying. Kinda 50/50 on the inclusion of blood though, that would jack the rating from a T possibly to an M....depending on the visuals/how graphicly the temple is depicted

I do so pine for games like this one. Where it was not about the detail of the open world. It was about the detail in the closed doors and why every closed door is a separate reality.
I have a love/hate relationship with this dungeon. Love the creepy theme to it and the dungeon boss. But getting around is a different story. Thank you for this video guide.
how the hell do you not get hit once? i went through 2 fairies and a game over before beating it + i had to pause this video several time as i couldn't keep up
Had I played Ocarina of Time when it came out instead of when I did in 2004, there is NO way I would have made it past this temple if the Forest Temple didn't scare me away first. It was because of Courage the Cowardly Dog and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy that I was brave enough to complete this horror show of a dungeon

See my point of having the biggoron’s sword? That. Highly recommended you get it right after you transform into Adult Link and after winning the horse …. Getting the big sword before you even enter the Forest Temple is the BEST thing. Oh trust me.
anyone ever figure out how to get those hearts on that platform way up the wall just before the room to the boss room? where the boat stops to the right when you get off
I hope that future Hylians create a tourist attraction involving this place. Like, it goes through Hyrule’s darker history, it’s themed after the shadow temple, Idk. I’d pay to experience it.

Why does everyone choose green to wear? You have 2 other colours to pick from. I personally think link looks best wearing red with the mirror shield equipped
3DS version was basically a cleaned up iteration of the 2nd gen cartridges of OoT. No blood in BOTW/ShadowTemple, and Ganon's blood is green unless you're on a new file after beating the game initially. Only 1st gen OoT cartridges had red blood, as parents complained about human blood in an E-rated game. thats why 1st gen cartridges are hard to come by
I'm playing this on my android phone on a emulator and everytime I use the lens of truth it crashes the game so I have to try to watch the youtube video and switch back to the game so I can see whats real and whats not. Its really pissing me off lol i just got into the temple currently trying to get the boots. Ive beat this game a million times on Nintendo 64 when I was a kid and even on other phones but this one is crashing everytime and its so hard dude i already got this far and now this 😅🔫
Update. Just got the boots easy the rest of the temple is gonna be impossible with no lens of truth I already know. Oh well here we go. Thanks for the video man
Finally got it done he'll yea thanks for the walkthrough came in handy big time I missed all my arrow shots had to use 4 bottles of faries and a sword was down to last half a heart when I beat that dude ohhhh yeaaa 👊💪👌🤘
A really cool dungeon with some neat ideas, but disappointingly linear compared to the previous dungeons. I think it would have been better if it had a non linear structure like the dungeons that preceded it.

Holy shit man the way you maneuvered through the room at 10:40 without lens was boss as fuck. Your walkthroughs are incredible.
It's certainly possible to get through with the Lens of Truth, you just gotta memorize where everything is.

I didn’t ever get the Suns Song. I was too scared to. Every time I entered somewhere with a redead, I’d stop playing for a few weeks out of fear.

@@stellarstarvibe It freezes the gibdos and redeads so they don't make that dreadfull sound and you can kill them.

At 5:53 when I tried to fight the Stalfo, I used the deku nuts and he fell from the platform. Couldn't stop laughing.

The Stalfos were annoying as hell in Forest Temple...

I did not understand that "to gain the eye of truth" meant that you needed to obtain an object. So I played the whole level without it....

My game misted of been fucked up. I was in the spike room, did din’s fire. It did not work. So I looked it up and I am told to used din’s fire. Lol
