Mavic 3 Pro CINE also shoots in Prores and the regular Normal Profile is in 10-bit, the color is a slight increase but don't stress if you don't have it. No matter what having a Mavic 3 with the 5.1K main camera is really the best you'll find on the market right now

I just bought the Mavic 3 Pro last week. I am anxious for it to show up Monday. Thanks for your QAtuts. I like how straight to the point your style is. Also, I like all your funny little quips when you comment.

Great content. This guy has integrity and keeps delivering good content not like many others who will milk out a leak /rumor from twitter just so that can make a 5 min video.

Cut to the chase will ya! Your presentation is top notch Dude!! Love that you trim the fat from your videos. No bullshitting, no exaggerations or flamboyance just the facts sir. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Fotr the love of god-you have absolutly nailed what it takes to present the material brilliantly. I am a beginner through and through! You make me want to get better...oh and buy a mavic pro 3 eventually. For now my two is a great teacher. Thanks again for the vids! Your killin it!!

These are helpful comments for folks who focus more on the tech and not on the image. The advice on using Cine flight mode is key because it is SO HARD to keep the drone flying in smooth fashion at those magnifications. Good tips here!

Ive been out shooting all my favorite loacations again, getting shots of airplanes flying through a sunset, and generally a child with a new toy. Ive put Spires, and towers into the background, and been moving parts of the frame closer together. All a brand new joy, from above.

Great video man. I appreciate your no bullsh*t style. This is just the second video of yours I've come across and both were great. Now that I've liked and subscribed I look forward to checking out the rest of your library. Keep up the great work Alex! 🔥

Great video on the use of different focal lengths. I have an inspire 2 and am looking to get a Mavic Pro 3 as well. As the Mavic camera can’t pan, how do you get a shot flying parallel to the cliffs, while the camera is turned towards them?

Hey Buddy.A subject I never seen on you tube tutorials on the Mavic 3 series drones is setting the perfect focus on these drones. Just asking if you could do an in-depth tutorial setting perfect focus on the Mavic 3 pro. Would be highly appreciated

Thanks! At one point, you set the shutter at 1/160 with a frame rate at 4k 24. Is it because you were moving so slow, adjusting for the sunset at the hazy mountains, so the shutter speed rule didn't matter?

Your reviews are phenomenal, your compositions, colours and movement of the cameras! You just made me buy the Mavic 3 ( Classic for the constantly unreal quality ) and will blend with my Blackmagic 6K greatly, I hope! I do have a question do you use any LUTS you used for the bright colours or the just before sunset shots? Even presets for sale?

Please compare in some of next videos - 70 mm lens clip (4K) versus 24 mm lens clip (5,1 K) cropped in post to "like 70mm" field of view. I'm wondering is there a big difference.

    • @germanovsijenko
      @germanovsijenko ปีที่แล้ว

If you just crop the image, you will never get 70mm compression.

Hi mate just wondering if you can give me some advice
I’m currently looking at either the mavic 3 pro cine or an inspire 2 with an X5’s with prores I’m in a real pickle as I want to get the best quality from a drone for cinematics and in the future paid work. From what I’ve seen an inspire 2 with a X5’s and the prores option would more than likely be better quality.
Just wondering your thoughts on this ? I feel buying the mavic 3 as a package would be the easiest thing and of course it’s a lot smaller, but I’d to get as good a quality as I can !
    Thanks !
    Liam 😊

Can't wait to see your review on the new DJI Air 3. I'm super interested in stepping up to that from my Mini 3 Pro when it comes out.
Edit: Nevermind, looked up the leaked specs and it's looking like it won't have a 4/3 sensor. Mini 3 Pro already has the 1/1.3" 🙁

Are you using the ProRes version of this drone? That 7x footage looks better than I expected, just wondering if that has anything to do with the codec it was captured in.

I am shooting with Mavic Pro 3 Cine on D-log ProRes in 422 HQ, and I use 5.1K resolution at 25fps. I noticed that when I tried to edit on DaVinci Resolve, my files are really slow, and I use a Mac. Is it the format I use, or is it my Mac that's the problem? What should I do?

Ahh Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and Palm Desert/Indio…. My area growing up in the 80’s… I just keep begging DJI for a a slightly larger mavic body and battery. . in between a M3 and a M30 with an X7 apsc sensor… it gimbal would be the same size as the 3 camera setup.. maybe even sneak in a 2x optical for some compression or put a crazy 1.5 or 1.8 aperture lens for ultimate lowlight performance

whats good distance and height for 3x and 7x lens? also when recording 5.1k whats the recommended fps and f setting? whats the recommended timeline edit in resolve in 5.1k/4k/1080p? did you use nd filter or just mess with the setting? i find my footage most of the time not crisp :(
    . thanks..

I know that you use a wide array of drones. Which do you recommend for video/photos? I have a DJI Mini 2 and it works pretty good. I am just wondering which one if any are better?

I’ve got the cine version and I got to say the photos of the 3x or 7x are a dogs breakfast. Using them in 12mp mode is better but barely acceptable. Video is much better for some reason however not the best quality when you pixel peep.

Downscaling is always sharper than just the native resolution. Plus you can crop in post without losing resolution.

A lot of the shots look jittery which is certainly because you shoot in 24/25fps which everyone think looks cinematic for drones but it actually ruins the footage imo. Please stop shooting 24/25 fps drone footage if you're uploading to TH-cam
