But what about bungus engi? Much more consistent. Could be nice as a backup or if none of your friends is an obsessive engi main like one of mine though ^^
@@aarepelaa1142 You dont need to stand still, that's what the turrets do, you just bounce through the heal field a couple of times, if you're going to stand still you might as well have bungus yourself.
I feel like Rex's normal Special is better, just because of it's crowd control abilities and distance healing, whereas with Harvest you need to track down the healing orbs. It could be better with looping, where enemies will die constantly so healing will be plentiful
@@exxpo7870 Actually Rex's alt special applies a different status that count as a debuff, but the normal special is still better since it applies the rooted effect to a larger area instead of a single enemy.
Well, Foreign Fruit specifically heals for 50% of your max health (and Rejuv Rack bumps that up to 100%), so you do actually need the max health boost for that strategy.
Yeah guys you DON'T actually need to have 1000hp missing to heal. I unlocked this during a normal monsoon run on accident by triggering Genesis Loop with Super Massive Leech active during the Beetle Queen fight. Any sufficient number of enemies in the radius of GL would work. A faster method might even be to enable Artifact of Enigma, keep resetting for Leech start, rush first boss for Wandering Vagrant, round up a bunch of enemies and BOOM (literally).
I've found an easier solution potentially, or even just an alternative. If you can increase Rex's max health to ~1400 or so, and get to Siren's Call, the health orbs that drop from the eggs on this map heal for a LOT of your total hp, which for whatever reason, counts towards unlocking Rex's alternate special move. I actually think I did this without finding a red item to turn into Rejuv Rack, but I don't remember, may need to test it out.
You don't have to have 1000 health to complete this, just heal a value of 1000 health What I did was only stack medkits, by stage 3 then I had enough where I used a shrine of blood and healed ~1200 back
My brother was trying to grind command drizzle for the hermit crab challenge for gesture of the drowned. He then got like 8 shaped glass and found something that could withstand his m1. Once it did, he healed for like 10k health or something.
Also, just mentioning, you don't need to ACTUALLY heal 1000hp at once, you just need to get a healing equivalent to 1000, so even if you're max HP and you heal yourself for 1000, it still counts. Also, friends healing you count as well, so if any of your friends are in love with da bungus, that could also be useful.
btw you dont need to have above 1000hp , i did this with 700 hp the way i did on monsoon (not flexing i swear 😂) is that i found medkit printer , printed 15 of them then got to bazzar and after doing it 4 times ,i found what i was looking for (rejuvenation rack) and boom did it after i got hit one time
@@killers007q8 tbh it seems at least one of these new achievements are bugged, the merc one for example I got literally using the rising slash m2 once at the start of the run (after trying a full run without it, and I HATE merc, bah) so maybe rex is also bugged.
The wiki page for that challenge explains how starting a run actually just continues the timer from the previous run. So you can use a bunch of abilities in five seconds, restart the run and you can keep using abilities and it'll count. I assume something similar happened to you guys.
alternatively stack hp and medkits, each medkit gives you 5% max hp healing so i just got to like stage 6, bought 5 transcendences, and used like 15 medkits.
I mean there really isn't any way to guarantee that one, you just gotta hope a pot spider spawns near a hole and blast it off, though i think that the artifact that disabled enemy biome restrictions would help idk
Another way is to get 4-5 infusions (stacked of course), rejuv rack, and the lepton daisy since the daisy heals 50% of your max hp during the teleporter event
Swarms + Sacrifice + Command A few fungi, a razor wire or two, and you're set to AFK farm the Void! Time doesn't pass in the Void either, so you'll be greatly overpowered by the time you leave.
I don't think Swarms + Sacrifice is a good combo. According to the wiki, the drop chance are as follows: Without Swarms: 0.05 * Log2(Max(1, Floor(creditCost * rewardMultiplier)) + 1) With Swarms: 0.05 * Log2(Max(1, Ceil(Floor(creditCost * rewardMultiplier) / 2)) + 1) This means that your drop chance is halved with Swarms to make up for the fact that you get twice the amount of enemies. Your drops should be roughly the same either way, the only thing that changes is that the enemies have half the HP.
As far as I can tell, it does take the maximum between the constant 1 and the relatively complicated term next to it, so this would mean there is an absolute minimum of a 5% chance for an item drop. Thus, at the beginning of a run where the chance for an item to drop would be comparable to 5%, doubling the number of enemies could be strictly beneficial.
I ran Swarms sacrifice yesterday on a sorta meme test run just for w/e and I actually got more items than I normally would with chests and normal enemies. not sure if it was just luck, or maybe I stayed in stages too long, but at the end of stage 8 when I obliterated I had like 50 items. normally I'd have like 30-40. but that may also just be, im bad at finding chests who knows!
Monsoon command sacrifice swarms and stay at first stage. Then stack infusion and medkits, this is much more consistent - you dont need to go anywhere outside starting kindergarden Why I believe this way is easier? Well, medkits heal you for 20 + 5% of max hp per stack, so 10 medkits will heal more then foreign fruit for 200 hp. And 10+ medkits can be farmed ultra fast
You don't actually need to heal 1000 health on your health-bar to unlock this. If you pack up 15 medkits and a rejuvenation rack even if you have 200 health you'll still heal for 1000 health. it still counts. If any of that made sense.
You can just get a big ammount of health packs and damage yourself, you don't actually need to have 1k hp, just heal 1k hp. Kinda like when you deal 1 million damage to mobs that don't even have 1 million hp
I don’t know how, I don’t know why. But I want to share this with everyone. So me and my friend were playing risk of rain 2. I’m posting it here even though it should be on the video of mul-t being op. But we were both playing as him, my friend hit the shrine of order ( I think that’s what it’s called) and thus, the breaking began. At first he could not pick up the teddy bear (I dunno how to spell it, this is a command artifact run) soon after a soilder’s syringe duplicated to a stack of 15, Next stage it went to 50. Soon other items would slowly duplicate, the highest stack being 57 leaf clovers. It was absolutely absurd chaos. We don’t know how it happened, but I know my friend did *NOT* have a cheat engine.
I ended up finding a bit of an easier method to this if you own SOTV do the same method but instead of getting foreign fruit and rejuv rack get an elixir instead and just spam REX's secondary once you're over 1000 hp
I got a bunch of Stoneflux Pauldrons to get to 2,000 health and then jumped off the Newt stage to get to 1 health. I just used the fruit and got the achievement.
Its faster to go command, swarms, sacrifice, and monsoon, with the all elites, actually. You just start games until you get the beetles, then you stay on level one. They cant kill you because theyre beetles, start dropping items like crazy because of monsoon scaling, and you can kill them essentially with impunity. Ezpz.
Just saying, you don’t have to heal for 1000 with 1000 max health, you just need to heal for 1k from one source at one time. I got it with a metric ton of shaped glass, hit something with my primary and I healed for a few hundred thousand.
I think they would be better if they acted more like the monster tooth items and didnt roll around/explode everywhere when I kill an enemy. Rex's other special is so much more reliable I feel.
I did it with medkits. The only time they were usefull. I did it in a multiplayer game and my friends hated me for taking so long printing them. good times.
Youre thinking too hard about it, this guide is way more than what you actually have to do. The challenge is to HEAL for 1000 in a tick, NOT to heal 1000 HP. I did this on Rainstorm with no command, and simply stacked 12 medkits (heal scaling + ambient level) If you want to get it incredibly fast, all you would need to do is go Drizzle, command, pick up a bunch of medkits (10-15) use a newt altar to buy a red/ stage 4 Alloy fight/red chest, etc. And get a rejuvenation rack. Use any of Rex's abilities that hurts him and you're good to go. None of this HP stack nonsense.
Yeah I always have bad luck with the items to drop as well I never use it anymore. It might potentially be faster if you aren't on murphy's speed dial but at least having just command is consistent.
