I like to just open a single barrel and watch as every beetle, BBC, vagrant and scavenger look in horror as the definition of a carpet bomb is heading towards them, because I have stacked 30+ fireworks and have 5+ crowbars, it's amazing.
Only 30 fireworks? My record so far is 98. Shrines of blood and chance are downright terrifying to look at with a literal swarm of explosives spilling out of them for 15-20 seconds
@@RyeFields 1000 tougher times is 99.96% I believe and it's not that worth it, this is just almost the exact list woolie said and once you have got all those items you can take it anywhere
I did this once as MUL-T a while back. I had Gesture and 5 fuel cells and decided to take meteorite as my second equipment. Whenever I swapped to it Gesture would use all 6 charges at once and it would nuke the entire map. I obviously killed myself and my friend with it.
I went max equipment cool down reduction with meteorite on artificer (to actually dodge the meteors) and at stage 5 I got it down to a 2 sec cd, then the game crashed.
i once did a one punch man type build with loader which mostly consisted of crowbars, focus crystals, goat hooves, and on-hit and crit for the gaps . one thunder punch would kill basically anything by stage ~8, super fun to do
You can also try attack speed Loader with health items, each punch is 5% of your health as a barrier, so you can become pretty much immortal, and then start getting proc-items to work with your attack speed.
I never thought to add crowbars and just built a solid on-hit then spammed all the teddy bears. Does struggle to get that one kill after a while though.
yeah i saw a guy that did it and it was hilarious he stacked like 30+ will o the whisps and if he killed a monster on the other side of the map everything infront of me would just instantly die
It isn't so much a "new" build, as one that so many people overlook. Max Razor wire stacks on REX. His M2 can proc the razor wire, and with enough stacks you can easily launch 2-3 missiles per M2 fired, without actually hitting anything with the M2. I managed to get 7 stacks in a non-artifact run, and due to all the scythes and monster teeth I picked up, as Rex with a full self-damage skill loadout and Aegis, I never dropped below 150% HP. Despite spamming the hell out of M2, the sheer number of procs from the 20+ target razorwire blasts(since it could reach so far from so many stacks), was constantly keeping me way above 100% HP.
My friend and I have banned ourselves from stacking razor wire, repulsion armor, and hellfire tincture while using command. With some fuel cells and a gesture, you can have perma uptime on the tincture, but the real broken part is the razor wire. Because razor wire can proc other items you can literally afk and be completely fine because everything on the map is dying
Bonus points for using it on Engineer, as the tincture will even proc his turrets' Razor Wires, and then you get additional wells of damage for the same build.
@@LittleJobu If you are playing with command, every run is going to be broken as fuck, so I don't really see a reason to add limitations into what you can build.
You can do an AFK build that way: Just add a bunch of infusions and shield generators, since both of those count for aegis' max barrier as well as towards opinion's max damage. Pop a turret and nothing can even spawn properly before getting opinioned to death.
We can go even further: Engineer Turrets also inherit your Equipment alongside your items, so using Hellfire Tincture + Gesture + Planula + Razorwire will practically multiply outgoing projectiles. Heck, Mired Urn also procs Razorwire (I think), so might as well pick that one up too.
Razorwire + Hellfire Tincture works fine too. Deals with the massive chaos. I especially love this build on Artificer as it helps her with killing flying enemies a lot. This combo also procs your items as I've noticed. Also very effective in the Void. If you were to combine this with the Sacrifce Artifcact, then you can farm in that level for days. Also if you can stack a lot of Will of the Wisp and/or Gasoline, eventually you can kill all enemies on the entire map.
Woolie here a challenge for you mate : only ONE item of each tipe. u can use drones, equipment etc. so one white, green, red, blue and u can stack as many u want.
Its pretty easy, topaz for overshield, ATG for the damage, and clover for proc chance. Also if you want the only useful lunar would be shaped glass IMO.
You, Mr. Streamer: Get this item and this item and these items in order to chain procs. Don't get too many and avoid picking up others as they don't help. Me, an intellectual: HAHA, WISP STACKS GO BOOM
I'd recommend trying the tank build on loader, because it will proc her passive and she'll get a hella boosted barrier. Kinda did something similar on a swarm + sacrifice run because those were just the items that seemed to drop a lot early, mainly razorwire, brooch, plating.
On Commando, I like to do "Operation: Infinite Machinegun", where you get Brainstalks and stack a bunch of Ukes and Guillotines, crit, attack speed, Predatory, and all the rest of the damage, and then HOLD R for play of the game. For bonus fun, throw in a Spinel build.
I had a meme build when I first did this and I stacked so many goat hoofs on engineer with his moving sentries and it was super fun to watch them scuttle around the map like little death machines
Nice list! I'm in the middle (near end?) of a run with Artificer where I've been just doing Whatever for the most bit along with trying to get all three of her Challenges done if I can (and I did! yay!) but I had absolutely RIDICULOUS luck with item rarity around Stage 4 and wound up with FIVE reds before the end of my run between random luck and the guaranteed chest, so I split them between 3 alien heads (so I don't have to worry about her cooldowns... at all really) and 2 clovers mostly because I just watched your tier list and figured it wouldn't hurt. I managed to get the 1-second takedown challenge on stage 4 against a titan-*duo* with a Prion-Flamethrower-Shock-Bleed combo thanks to a FOURTEEN stack of A.P. Rounds because I've been doing fine and I figured I'd already gotten both of the other challenges done on the Aqueduct thanks to the Black Hole and I wanted to give Chunked! the best shot my insistently-reflexively-suboptimal ass could have at taking down an abyssal boss in 0.9 seconds flat. After that, well I had a Prion Accumulator with 3 fuel cells from previous equipment I swapped it for, and now I've just been working on boosting the absolute hell out of that with even MORE fuel cells. I'm about to head into A Moment, Whole with NINE CHARGES on my Accumulator--let's see that pale tubby hoarder drop THIS!!
Did a meme run with Artifact CommAndy by running 96 teddies, glowing meteorite, 10 gestured of the drowned, 5 fuel cells, clover, 11 shaped glass and 95 repulsion plates. The run was very exciting
My favorite meme build is infinite royal capacitor. On stage 1, get a bunch of green items from the tp event, and then immediately take a trip to the Bazaar. Buy all of the lunar items and turn them into Gestures, and convert some of your green items into 1 Soulbound Catalyst. At this point, turn almost all of your greens into fuel cells, and just watch anything you look at get smited instantly. You have won.
Honestly I always just go for always drugs as soon as possible. It's just so strong and buffs all stats. If you know where stuff is you can generally get it in the first or second stage and it's pretty much all downhill from there
i have a build i usually refer to as the god build, basically a ton of fuel cells, a couple gestures, a foreign fruit and N'kuhana's Opinion. constant healing means constant skulls that do a whole lotta damage, grab an aegis and some antlers later on and you can go for as long as you want pretty much
I'd like to add that Dio's Best Friend is beyond insane on the Engineer because the turrets inherit the extra life but they dont use the item up when they die. And Dio stacks, so if you have two Dios your turrets need to be killed three times before they break down.
I feel like because RoR2 got so much updates you can now have more varied builds(I kind of like the build where you stack enough fuel cells to cause Blast Shower to make you invincible)
One of my favorite things to do is get an insanely high attack speed on Loader and shout ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA as I attack things. Not very smart but it's fun.
It's plenty smart! 5% of your health as a barrier with high attack speed and high health you're pretty much immortal, and it changes how you play the game a lot.
Engineer Question: in "the" build, how high of an priority would the fungus be, or would there be an need for them at all considering you can just choose your items?
I mean, even with god run items, fungus is a must on engineer, especially early on, as it guarantees decent survivability on your turrets. Once you start getting some scythes and decent crit they wont matter *as* much, especially with brooches and aegis, but they're still very useful. I'd recommend at least 3 or so stacks to ensure decent healing whenever you need it.
first item is always fungus, then get "the build" going, switching out some of the common items in it for funghi. everything else is the same, after you finish "the build" with everything grab reju rack and nkuhanas.
@@mikeh171 This. Also, Dio's best friend is incredible for the turrets, since they always have two lives. It gets to a point that I keep trying to paint targets for missiles and they simply die too quickly for me to do anything.
My favorite build to run with command artifact is to grab Gesture, Forgive Me Please, Soulbound, and Ceremonial Dagger with 2-3 Fuel Cells to get all of the Voodoo dolls stacked on top of each other when you go into a stage. When combined with topaz brooches and monster teeth you can basically just AFK with your cursor at your feet and vaporize everything. Having some clovers and on-hits help a lot, as well as having 100% crit is very great. Grabbing some infusions for health works wonders, and shaped glass works really well too.
I think one of the best runs ive ever had was one where i stacked all the damage, on kill, and speed items i could with the grovetender's boss item By the time i got to stage 10 i didnt even have to use any skills Just sprint and use missile launcher and everything dies
It seems im not the only one who would like an update including the void items... Between this video and the titular guide on reddit ive been having a blast with builds however i enjoy the layout of the titular guide with with the information you also provide. The guide is based off this video so a lot of it is repeated information but theres a nice mix in my opinion. Keep up the great work with your other content but I do hope youll update this guide at some point when youre not too busy.
I tried some funny builds yesterday and I had tons of fun with the Megumin EXPUROSION build idea that I had a while ago. (General rule for my specific build runs where I dont run "the build" is that I'm allowed to differ from the defined item picks thrice for common and twice for green per loop since you just need hoof, bear, crit, ukulele and atg at least once and after the second loop scythe and hopoo are also kinda mandatory) Survivor: Artificier Rules: Every item you pick has something to do with explosions. Commons: Sticky Bomb, Gasoline, Fireworks Greens: Will'o the Wisps, Atg, Kjaros Legendaries: Behemoth Equipment: Preon Accumulator Yellow: Genesis Loop Lunar: since there are technically no lunar items that have something to do with explosions, you can pick whatever you like there, but know that Megumin would pick shaped glass for that extra bit of oomph for her expurosions. gl hf
Loader: Get a little bit of move speed early (I prefer 2-3 energy drinks but you do you), a couple backup mags, get that crit to 100% to start. Stack crowbars and ukuleles for every common/uncommon (you can mix in some survivability items once you're one hitting bosses). First legendary you grab hardlight afterburner for more frequent Charged Gauntlet, then next 4-5 legendary items into clovers. Every Charged Gauntlet will wipe your screen with total damage ukulele scaling on the HUMONGOUS first hit on any high health mob. Grabbing a few wax quails helps give the initial movespeed scaling for huge damage. 1m+ damage hit by round 10-11 which will chain to everything remotely near you. Start charging your gauntlet, sprint, jump, immediately release, kill anything you contact with huge crowbar scaling and ukulele chains 80% (TOTAL DAMAGE) to 3 (+2 per stack) targets within 20m (+2m per stack). Oh and grab some shaped glasses too for real fun damage numbers.
What about yellow items? Shatterspleen would majorly help with bleeding on crit, removing the need for any tri-tip daggers. The fireball one (the orange talon thing) is also hilarious with this build, I've done a lot of testing. Edit: what are your guys' thoughts on this build with the heretic? I think it would be funny
I just love the equipment build, pref. With about 20 fuel cells, 4 drowned, pref Sawmerang and one or 2 4Heads so once you kill anything you just puke out a game lagging amount of saws, fkin hillarious
I've done a 4-hour command run with a buddy. In the end, we were the game's equivalent to Medusa. Wherever we turned our gaze, absolutely everything died. The basic recipe for that is a Capacitor plus a whole lotta Fuel Cells/Gestures and Crowbars. We had about 100 Crowbars plus 20 to 30 fuels cells and gestures each. And since our approach to the first loops was similar to what Woolie suggests here, we also had our proc chains going. IIRC, the biggest hit was about 890 million damage. We ended up obliterating ourselves because even on Monsoon, you're going to massively outscale the game with command.
I got a meme build ive been using, though its pretty basic common knowledge basically Fleet Admiral. You play captain, you get The Back Up And then just, equipment spam from there you become a walking cloud of drones that eat all the enemy projectiles. then you can just build your on hit and mobility from there and just mainly focus the hit scan enemies while your drones cloud the air and choke up enemy sight lines and aim To double down the memes, get an equipment drone geared up with Opus, and all your drones will also get the attack speed, and also, getting a shattering justice allows you to crack armour to let your cloud of a thousand cuts rush in and start slashing apart larger enemies. It isnt very good. but. Its funny to see the cloud of drones just spraying out evverywhere.
Honestly love doing a "On-kill-effect" Build Essentially taking only items that proc things on kill and chaining kills around bosses to kill them instantly. Its really fun to mess around with
One of my favorite builds I ever did was with engineer, but it could be for any class. I started doing a stereotypical fungus build with stationary turrets, but I got the usable missile launcher and decided "you know what? Missiles." From then on I built only use item recharge items, and some various mobility items for red and white items I found as well. By the time I got to the final boss, he stole all my items (this is post-rework) and got devastated by the sheer number of missiles that had been backlogged from the number of times I used it. One of the most hilarious builds I've done in a long time XD
I love playing with the command artifact so far. I no longer have to get a bunch of trash items that I don't want. The only downside is that you have to pick the item, which makes you stop for a moment. I have been playing with Acrid the last couple of days and this is what I like to get for Acrid. Most of the white items that were mentioned are great to get in the order that was mentioned. However, I like to get 1 Will O' the Wisp because I can poison everything and the explosion kills everything nearby. It is great for getting rid of groups of enemies. Then, I like 1 Razorwire because I can poison and now I don't even have to touch most enemies. They kill themselves and with Will O' the Wisp, it kills everything else. I like to add a ukulele or two to chain the damage and a hopoo feather for getting around easier and attacking flying enemies easier. Maybe throw in some ATG launchers and the rest is extra.
i think an interesting item that most survivors should be taking at least a couple of (especially merc) is bandoliers, cause a fair few of the survivors are effectively ability based, namely merc and loader, so having your main damage ability up more often definitely helps
A command build that I tested was a crazy FMP build. Tons of gas and wil-of-the-wisps with ceremonial daggers and a ton of cool-down reduction. Press Q and kill everything.
*Questien* - does artifact of sacrifice work like aspects(does clover amplify the drop chance)? Im like 97% sure that it doesnt but it may even be possible, so i just want to make sure
May I suggest: Couple Topazes, Will o' the Wisp, Crowbars, and Royal Capicator. You don't even need anything else. Teddies add survivability of course. A giant proc chain is fun, but one hitting an add with Capacitor to nuke everything with the Crowbar-Will explosions is ridiculous. It's two items and immense power.
I'd recommend taking repulsion armor on REX as it does apply to his self damaging attacks as well, so rather than lose 25% of your current health, just take one damage and feel the healing.
one really fun(ny) meme build is the "ultra oneshot" bandit build, its basically about getting as many crowbars and armor piercings as possible and then some bands with desperado, and then get like 3 purity to get .5 desperado cooldown. i did this with blast shower, 13 fuel cells and 3 gestures and it was very fun.
My go to command build is shaped glass ( the more the better ) and 1 sacrificial dagger. all green items go into feather/quail/wisp and all grey items go into goat/teddy. grab a few fuel cells and some gestures with a tonic or meteor to spice things up.
Sometimes with a command run ill do a "necromancer run" n get the clover for the first red, and then stack happiest masks, because it increases the time they are alive, so you can have a ghost army, pretty fun, just one random build
If anyone wants a high damage build with captain then focus on getting 10 tri tip dagers before anything else. 8-9 Soldier syringes is also good. after that just get a ton of apr for boss damage. After that kjaros and runalds bands will be helpful and atg missile can also proc bleed. Anything that deals damage can proc bleed so razorwire is also good. Ceremonial dagers and the rock launcher are also a big help. Since your captain you shouldn't be taking much damage as the thing u start with will block projectiles, but if you are, get some leeching seed and medkits. Edit: Ukele is a big big help as it will proc bleed when it hits something allowing for great aoe.
Walking turrets are really good actually due to them proccing death mark 1 item earlier! Just use the build in this video and they will mow down everything.
The "Poison can't kill? Fixed." Build. Acrid, some movespeed, GASOLINE, TWO UKULELES, AND WILLOWISPS. Your poison wears them down, and then all it takes is one death to turn the entire battlefield, not just the screen, the ENTIRE MAP, into charcoal and embers. Take THE BUILD minus the crit items early on if you want a more balanced run, but the crit isn't as strong on Acrid early due to so much of his(And the build's by extension) power coming from DoT's that cannot proc. You can start adding crit later on(And I'd still take maybe one or two Harvester's Scythes and glasses for the sake of reliable healing), but the majority of your power comes from being able to kill one weak enemy like a beetle and then killing the entire map through Gasoline stacking on the enemies multiple times, as both its power AND its range increase with each stack, and each dead enemy adds one more stack onto the yet-to-be-barbecue'd ones.
my go to build if i get command games so far, since i'm engineer has been: atleast 5 shrooms at first (work to 10 but get the five first) then get all the crit items listed in THE BUILD drowned icon when i can find it and grab either the rockets or the robots, love my little friends red items are IN ORDER of finding reds; Nkuhana's opinion, rejuvenation antlers, Aegies, then the reds spoken previously then i basically fill out whatever along the way, feel like i need more speed? goats hoof, not on my A-game with grenades? visions of heresy (i actually grab this even if i have good nade tosses because it's a flat damage boost to the turrets in terms of per shot and dps if i did the math right) in short, grabbing everything i can to either stand in place and laugh as i Imerial Guard the entire field OR let my turrets do that while i'm running around screaming for someone to kill THE WORM THAT IS CHASING ME... build i use could probably use some more work tho
Haunting skulls or wisp is way more fun. Build crit, get scythes, the antlers, send out hoards of haunting souls. Also you can get the one that fires them while sprinting also which is more meme fun!! Definitely suggest this build if you haven't tried, and if you are playing rex, you send out tons more, also get the shrooms on engineer (about 10) with the haunting skull/wisp build for some afk fun, throw in a shaped glass and enjoy the explosions.
I made a pretty awesome version of the super tank build by accident Using MUL-T 100% critical chance, Predatory Instincts + Scythe (Take LOTS of scythes) Razorwire And last, Rejuvenation Rack On top of the crazy healing (On the run I'm on now, I'm able to take multiple greater wisp hits plus the DoT from the void), whenever you take damage your razorwire will deal damage to the surrounding enemies, healing you for most of if not all damage taken
Most of my runs are just command with bandit or captain, 10 tri tips then 10 lens makers, then just stack teddy. Alternate between uke and atg till about 15 then start getting bands or something. For reds its clovers till about 4 or 5 the just get something fun, and as soon as you get the bazaar just get 4 gestures and spinel for 100% uptime. For yellows its molten perf, then shatterspleen, then charged perf, and repeat.
I like something similar to ultra tank with little diciple, lots of crit + scythes, n'kuhana's, fireworks, and ceremonial daggers. Rose bucklers for extra survivability, red whips (yes, I know) and energy drinks for speed, and proc chains for extra damage are optional. The whole point is to run around at mach 5, opening chests and whatnot, and just allowing passive damage to kick in. Works best with huntress, but merc comes close, as they can both Sprint attack.U
Ok, the build i should go dmg for is 6-7 Lens Maker Glasses 1 Predatory Instincts and Harvester Scythe (one more Predatory for Automatic Chars) 6 Goat Hooves 2 or 3 ATG Missiles Royal Capacitor or Saw or Prion One of both Fire and Ice Band Red Item 57 Clover and Sentient Meathook (Preferably 57 Clover) Then after dmg is Defense, which is: Grab 10 Teddy Bears and 5 or more Broaches Hoopoo Feather and Wax Quills The progression one is: 1 or more Death Mark 1 Tri tips Dagger 1 Chronobaule 1 ice band 1 Shattering Justice 1 or more berserker pauldron 5 or more sticky bombs
About The Build, past loop 2 you really don't have any more white items you need so stacking just repulsion plates actually feels really good. By 4th loop you can get over 100 and take near zero damage at all from anything. I got to 300 and just stood in packs of scavengers, taking barely a tickle from royal capacitor blasts.
for the meme side i like to do an addict build. It consists on only getting syringes as your white item and getting the tonic on the Q item, getting any green and red items you wish. Its really dumb and fun and i usually do that on Commando
I like to stack as many fuel cells and gestures as possible, then use the royal capacitor as the main damage. Then keep stacking health increases (like brooches, etc.) For the legendary priority, I like to get the aegis, then ceremonial dagger, and shattering justice
smth i love doing is just getting 10 lens markers and then stacking sale stars and looping over to keep getting the legendary chest and then stacking laser scopes
With command arty on try building crit to start, get 1 of each proc item, then get a gesture and a missile launcher and start stacking fuel cells. it gets the missile launcher to the point where its literally a stream of missiles that never stops and one shots everything
(don't question why youtube brought me here 2 years late) I personally seem to have taken to a meme build I like to call "the speed goblin" it basically revolves around the little disciple, plasma shrimp and polylute with a bunch (probably too many) movement speed upgrades to have disciple attack faster and proc more polylutes which procs more shrimp hits a consistent way to get the disciple stacks (because damage I guess idk I just like bigger number) seems to be the hunters tricorn equipment after that I just ended up stacking like 100+ void teddy bears because invincibility is cool and whatever else sounded like damage like proc chains and the like
My current favorite command build is: Engineer, stationary turrets, only mushrooms for white, razor wire and infusions for green, and N'kuhana for red. As the amount of mushrooms increase, the damage of the N'kuhanas also increase, and the infusions guarantee you cant get one-shot, as well as increasing the dammage on the N'kuhana. For more craziness, take a foreign fruit, and stack gestures.the fruit will further buff the N'kuhana.
My favorite build is the ENDLESS CAPACITOR which is get enough fuel cells/gesture of the drowned to just look at an enemy and there is a guaranteed lightning bolt while building crowbars so that you one shot everything while also building defence on the side also having strides of heresy with as many stacks as possible to basically grant you immortality because you can use equipment while using the strides of heresy
If you combine Command with Sacrifice, you can make a build I love called the "Nuclear Doll" build. Basically, get 50+ Will O' The Wisps and Forgive Me Please, plus 20 or so Fuel Cells. Throw one of your nuclear dolls down, and watch everything on the map die.
my favourite thing to do with command is make an On-Kill build Stack a bunch of Gasoline, Topaz Brooch, Will-o-the-Wisp, and just about any other On-Kill effect you can think of, then grab yourself a Soulbound Catalyst as your first Red and an FMP and you're virtually unkillable. Get a Frost Relic as your 2nd red item and you just become a walking AOE, with Will-o-the Wisp and Frost Relic procing eachother over and over again even if you don't have FMP up
ima PROUD CommAndy and there's nothin u can do bout it

i once did a one punch man type build with loader which mostly consisted of crowbars, focus crystals, goat hooves, and on-hit and crit for the gaps . one thunder punch would kill basically anything by stage ~8, super fun to do
thank you for the ideea.
I suck at loader but this is my new life goal
Add one or two hardlight afterburners for infini-punch
You can also try attack speed Loader with health items, each punch is 5% of your health as a barrier, so you can become pretty much immortal, and then start getting proc-items to work with your attack speed.
Just another youtube-addicted person you become STAAAAAR PLATINUUUUM
I love to stack infinite crowbars and will o the wisps. The crowbars allow you to kill one thing, and then anything else is dead.
Last two times I did this, I got far enough that my game crashed... brilliant build.
Yeah I can definitely approve that one. The game plays itself past stage 7
@@CrabBar risk of rain 2 but you enjoy the command artifact a wee bit too much
It isn't so much a "new" build, as one that so many people overlook.

I love going for an Engineer with a bunch of fungus, Rejuvenation Rack, Aegis and N'kuhana's Opinion
So many projectiles!
You can do an AFK build that way: Just add a bunch of infusions and shield generators, since both of those count for aegis' max barrier as well as towards opinion's max damage.
Pop a turret and nothing can even spawn properly before getting opinioned to death.
@@SpaceBrotha It's amazing, truly
Woolie here a challenge for you mate : only ONE item of each tipe. u can use drones, equipment etc. so one white, green, red, blue and u can stack as many u want.
what is the goal? Obliterate on Monsoon, Kill the current "final boss" in a moment in time whole, or go as far as possible?

I'd recommend trying the tank build on loader, because it will proc her passive and she'll get a hella boosted barrier. Kinda did something similar on a swarm + sacrifice run because those were just the items that seemed to drop a lot early, mainly razorwire, brooch, plating.
I love stacking will o wisps and reaching explosions of such intensity that it covers the whole map
On Commando, I like to do "Operation: Infinite Machinegun", where you get Brainstalks and stack a bunch of Ukes and Guillotines, crit, attack speed, Predatory, and all the rest of the damage, and then HOLD R for play of the game. For bonus fun, throw in a Spinel build.
for a machine gun build on commando, i just use a lot of soilders syringe, shatter spleen and 10 tri tips, along with a on hit effect
Update: FFFFFUCKYEAH!! PUT *THAT* IN YOUR BAG AND HAUL IT!
If you know where stuff is you can generally get it in the first or second stage and it's pretty much all downhill from there
You’re very right, this video helped a ton today improving my knowledge of the games mechanics, I appreciate it
i have a build i usually refer to as the god build, basically a ton of fuel cells, a couple gestures, a foreign fruit and N'kuhana's Opinion. constant healing means constant skulls that do a whole lotta damage, grab an aegis and some antlers later on and you can go for as long as you want pretty much
I e genuinely never built mobility items ever and have found continuous success but I love your take on everything
I'd like to add that Dio's Best Friend is beyond insane on the Engineer because the turrets inherit the extra life but they dont use the item up when they die.
And Dio stacks, so if you have two Dios your turrets need to be killed three times before they break down.
waited for this video for quite some times, thanks!
50 fungus as engineer.
Ah, I see you are a man of culture.
It's plenty smart! 5% of your health as a barrier with high attack speed and high health you're pretty much immortal, and it changes how you play the game a lot.
Too bad if you hit enemies fast enough, the game freezes for a second every punch. No true jojo build, but god it is hilariously fun.
MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!!!
infinite shield!! :D
I love the work keep it up woolie :3
Engineer Question: in "the" build, how high of an priority would the fungus be, or would there be an need for them at all considering you can just choose your items?
I mean, even with god run items, fungus is a must on engineer, especially early on, as it guarantees decent survivability on your turrets. Once you start getting some scythes and decent crit they wont matter *as* much, especially with brooches and aegis, but they're still very useful. I'd recommend at least 3 or so stacks to ensure decent healing whenever you need it.
Get fungus and then the nukahanas (spelling whatever) and you got god run by stage 4
first item is always fungus, then get "the build" going, switching out some of the common items in it for funghi. everything else is the same, after you finish "the build" with everything grab reju rack and nkuhanas.
With max crit Scythes and Teddy/Brooch they will survive just fine, its a different story though if youre building around N'kuhana and rack
The 3rd reason for command artifact is for unlocks like huntress' one shot one kill challenge and the challenge for the saw on mul-t and so on
I came here to learn, leaving more confused, but somehow happy about it, thanks
I think one of the best runs ive ever had was one where i stacked all the damage, on kill, and speed items i could with the grovetender's boss item
By the time i got to stage 10 i didnt even have to use any skills
Just sprint and use missile launcher and everything dies
It seems im not the only one who would like an update including the void items... Between this video and the titular guide on reddit ive been having a blast with builds however i enjoy the layout of the titular guide with with the information you also provide. The guide is based off this video so a lot of it is repeated information but theres a nice mix in my opinion. Keep up the great work with your other content but I do hope youll update this guide at some point when youre not too busy.
I love taking 2 drowned and 9 fuel cells to get perma-jade elephant
PERMA ROYAL CAP
I tried some funny builds yesterday and I had tons of fun with the Megumin EXPUROSION build idea that I had a while ago.
(General rule for my specific build runs where I dont run "the build" is that I'm allowed to differ from the defined item picks thrice for common and twice for green per loop since you just need hoof, bear, crit, ukulele and atg at least once and after the second loop scythe and hopoo are also kinda mandatory)
Survivor: Artificier
Rules: Every item you pick has something to do with explosions.
Commons: Sticky Bomb, Gasoline, Fireworks
Greens: Will'o the Wisps, Atg, Kjaros
Legendaries: Behemoth
Equipment: Preon Accumulator
Yellow: Genesis Loop
Lunar: since there are technically no lunar items that have something to do with explosions, you can pick whatever you like there, but know that Megumin would pick shaped glass for that extra bit of oomph for her expurosions.
gl hf
Another great auto kill build involves the resonance disk and wisps in a jar. Crowbars help too.
Now that the Command artifact is a thing can you see yourself doing "build" requests?
Ooh, good idea dude. Hope he does.
I like stacking crowbars, guillotines, and ceremonial daggers and watch as the daggers go around murdering the entire map after a single kill.
glad to see someone else understands the power knifes and crowbars
ps.: add a forgive me please and a soulbund and gestures.LET THE PARTY BEGINN
I got a meme build ive been using, though its pretty basic common knowledge
basically
Fleet Admiral.
You play captain, you get The Back Up
And then just, equipment spam from there
you become a walking cloud of drones that eat all the enemy projectiles.
then you can just build your on hit and mobility from there and just mainly focus the hit scan enemies while your drones cloud the air and choke up enemy sight lines and aim
To double down the memes, get an equipment drone geared up with Opus, and all your drones will also get the attack speed, and also, getting a shattering justice allows you to crack armour to let your cloud of a thousand cuts rush in and start slashing apart larger enemies. It isnt very good. but.
Its funny to see the cloud of drones just spraying out evverywhere.
Honestly love doing a "On-kill-effect" Build
Essentially taking only items that proc things on kill and chaining kills around bosses to kill them instantly.
Its really fun to mess around with
One of my favorite builds I ever did was with engineer, but it could be for any class. I started doing a stereotypical fungus build with stationary turrets, but I got the usable missile launcher and decided "you know what? Missiles."
From then on I built only use item recharge items, and some various mobility items for red and white items I found as well. By the time I got to the final boss, he stole all my items (this is post-rework) and got devastated by the sheer number of missiles that had been backlogged from the number of times I used it.
One of the most hilarious builds I've done in a long time XD
Stacking bears, wisps, and abusing infinite royals capacitor is still my easy long run build
What’s the likelihood that you’d do a video tiering items/survivors for M.A.A.O runs?

the top tier would definitly be topaz(probably 1 or 2 only) and teddys/goat hooves, guillotines and the usual green dmg items and sac dagger
i think an interesting item that most survivors should be taking at least a couple of (especially merc) is bandoliers, cause a fair few of the survivors are effectively ability based, namely merc and loader, so having your main damage ability up more often definitely helps
Yeah, a few stacks of Bandolier or Brainstalks are essential if you want to survive during a long Merc run.
I’ve been a Commandy for 6 years and 4 months
A command build that I tested was a crazy FMP build. Tons of gas and wil-of-the-wisps with ceremonial daggers and a ton of cool-down reduction. Press Q and kill everything.
*Questien* - does artifact of sacrifice work like aspects(does clover amplify the drop chance)? Im like 97% sure that it doesnt but it may even be possible, so i just want to make sure
no, clover does not affect the chance to get an item via Sacrifice
Woolie darn
May I suggest: Couple Topazes, Will o' the Wisp, Crowbars, and Royal Capicator. You don't even need anything else. Teddies add survivability of course. A giant proc chain is fun, but one hitting an add with Capacitor to nuke everything with the Crowbar-Will explosions is ridiculous. It's two items and immense power.
The one and true god: Artifact of Command
So I was having so trouble unlocking clover and sin either challenges. I think that's about to change. Thanks Woolie!

Sometimes with a command run ill do a "necromancer run" n get the clover for the first red, and then stack happiest masks, because it increases the time they are alive, so you can have a ghost army, pretty fun, just one random build
my plan: 150 hooves
Tried making a viable build run for the engineer's walking turrets. needs work
If the turrets had more range maybe it will work but for now the range of the walking turrets is just shit
Walking turrets are really good actually due to them proccing death mark 1 item earlier! Just use the build in this video and they will mow down everything.
Considering fixing them yourself. There is a mod wich allows them to "activate" the fungus while walking
The true build is stack Poglyps and heal them up with fungus and they go brrrrrrrrr and kill everything :DDD
engineer with n'kuhana + 5 rejuvenation bracket + 50 shroom, litteraly killing by healing.
my go to build if i get command games so far, since i'm engineer has been:
atleast 5 shrooms at first (work to 10 but get the five first)
then get all the crit items listed in THE BUILD
drowned icon when i can find it and grab either the rockets or the robots, love my little friends
red items are IN ORDER of finding reds; Nkuhana's opinion, rejuvenation antlers, Aegies, then the reds spoken previously
then i basically fill out whatever along the way, feel like i need more speed? goats hoof, not on my A-game with grenades? visions of heresy (i actually grab this even if i have good nade tosses because it's a flat damage boost to the turrets in terms of per shot and dps if i did the math right)
in short, grabbing everything i can to either stand in place and laugh as i Imerial Guard the entire field OR let my turrets do that while i'm running around screaming for someone to kill THE WORM THAT IS CHASING ME...
build i use could probably use some more work tho
why build anything when you can just stack 50 willowisps and kill 1 enemy to blow up the whole map.
I made a pretty awesome version of the super tank build by accident
Using MUL-T
100% critical chance, Predatory Instincts + Scythe (Take LOTS of scythes)
Razorwire
And last, Rejuvenation Rack
On top of the crazy healing (On the run I'm on now, I'm able to take multiple greater wisp hits plus the DoT from the void), whenever you take damage your razorwire will deal damage to the surrounding enemies, healing you for most of if not all damage taken
I love the chain reaction build which just causes everything to die as soon as you kill one enemy
This man is making godrun soup. And I'm hungry.
Ok, the build i should go dmg for is
6-7 Lens Maker Glasses
1 Predatory Instincts and Harvester Scythe (one more Predatory for Automatic Chars)
6 Goat Hooves
2 or 3 ATG Missiles
Royal Capacitor or Saw or Prion
One of both Fire and Ice Band
Red Item 57 Clover and Sentient Meathook (Preferably 57 Clover)
Then after dmg is Defense, which is:
Grab 10 Teddy Bears and 5 or more Broaches
Hoopoo Feather and Wax Quills
The progression one is:
1 or more Death Mark
1 Tri tips Dagger
1 Chronobaule
1 ice band
1 Shattering Justice
1 or more berserker pauldron
5 or more sticky bombs
(don't question why youtube brought me here 2 years late)
I personally seem to have taken to a meme build I like to call "the speed goblin"
it basically revolves around the little disciple, plasma shrimp and polylute with a bunch (probably too many) movement speed upgrades to have disciple attack faster and proc more polylutes which procs more shrimp hits
a consistent way to get the disciple stacks (because damage I guess idk I just like bigger number) seems to be the hunters tricorn equipment
after that I just ended up stacking like 100+ void teddy bears because invincibility is cool and whatever else sounded like damage like proc chains and the like
My current favorite command build is: Engineer, stationary turrets, only mushrooms for white, razor wire and infusions for green, and N'kuhana for red.
Forgot. Take at least one aegis
and rejuv rack
For a crazy ish build, I've found it fun to get as many regen scraps as possible for a free red per stage off the newt
Throw one of your nuclear dolls down, and watch everything on the map die.
my favourite thing to do with command is make an On-Kill build
Stack a bunch of Gasoline, Topaz Brooch, Will-o-the-Wisp, and just about any other On-Kill effect you can think of, then grab yourself a Soulbound Catalyst as your first Red and an FMP and you're virtually unkillable. Get a Frost Relic as your 2nd red item and you just become a walking AOE, with Will-o-the Wisp and Frost Relic procing eachother over and over again even if you don't have FMP up
Loader: A lot of crowbars, some crystals, crits and an afterburner, now you are a one punch man.
