@@Zren89 the funny part is, the another (older, I think) version of the myth of pandora is that she opened it intentionally, knowing full well the consequences. That version is basically that Pandora was the Olympian God’s nerf bat to the humans (all men) who were living happy lives with no women. It’s basically that women are the root of all things bad in the world. You do have to remember that Ancient Greece wasn’t exactly what we’d call politically correct by modern standards.

Pandora was the original trojian horse. She was created by all the gods together, given to Prometheus as a gift, with the sole purpose of doing as she did. Unleashing all kind of evils on humanity.
A very misunderstood tale, about why the gods turned on us, the bastards.
There is Balance owing, for this and many other crimes against us. The day will come when we nuke the fucks out of existence.
In the myth Pandora's Box held all of the evils in the world. Nobody ever seems to notice that Hope was one of those evils. It's a double-edged sword.

Islander here lads to be honest not the worst Scottish Irish or Welsh accents are there ever heard if your not from here mate well done to you because I know are accents are the easiest now if you can start dividing the accents by region I'll be impressed

The Aussie accent is one of the few Aussie attempts I don't hate. It's a little strong for a Mildura accent but really good
Lots of dogs (e.g., German Shepherds, American Bulldogs) have a strong sense of the way things should be. I wonder if that's a predator species thing? I mean humans have some of that ourselves, but also we have enough herbivore heritage that we don't perfectly exemplify predator species.

And herbivores eat some level of meat nothing is truly one or the other
@@oddmind55I'm not talking about individual behavior of members of a species that seems to go against the nature of the species. I'm talking about evolutionary history. You know how there's a bunch of plant-derived foods humans can eat that can poison dogs and cats? And how dogs and cats can live on pure lean protein whereas humans get "rabbit starvation" if we try? It's because some of our recent evolutionary ancestors were herbivores, so we have liver enzymes for detoxifying mildly poisonous plants and don't have enough kidney function to filter out the nitrogen from a whole diet of lean protein.

Depleted uranium heats up as it ablates and penetrates. Hot enough to form U02. Which is a combustion product. In other words it would fill every compartment it went through with fire.
Not necessarily, because there's no oxygen in open space. Perhaps the chemical response could activate once it penetrates the ships hull, but I'm now sure it would react with the internal atmosphere quickly enough to cause secondary fire damage.

Thank you, since he's been around (in space even) I have a feeling that would have taken some of the twang out of it.
Well to be entirely honest I don’t know a lot of people that have that exaggerated draw that most people seem to think we have. Some do, but most don’t. It’s actually rather painful to hear it sometimes. But you like nailed the accent perfectly.

Jenkinsverse > Mass Effect
Man, Mass Effect had SO much potential...and it wasn't terrible but I thought it was gonna be even better :/
I love Mass Effect (specifically a certain fanon version of the setting), but man am I really enjoying the Jenkinsverse so far. After I finish binging this series I should really read some of the other supplementary material. Been a long time since another scifi setting has captured my imagination like this.

Probably somewhere chapter 20 to 30 of salvage. It's none specific when exactly they did it but Adrian came up with a lot of designs with his weapon designer friend and after he disappeared and Jen became pirate queen there's a bit of a time skip in which she was using them with the pirates

The problem about evil, and good is that good is sometimes seen as evil, and evil seems great in comparison.
The most notable is destruction, creation, freedoms, and the like.
Destruction of some things can be seen as good, until you look at the finer details.
Creation of some things can be seen as evil, until seen in details.
Freedom for some is slavery for others.
Example for destroying things in the name of good is destroying historical monuments in the name of politics.
Even though there is no political gain from it, and only generates a bigger political divide.
Example for creation is nuclear fission, and only being seen as a weapon, and not away to provide electricity.
Example for freedom is if people are free to do what they want. Then it'll be like the movie the Purge, but in real life.
In the process making good, and evil a gray area.

As long as you have hope, you won't ever give up. That being said, 90% of the time in life we aren't able to cut our losses and start over. We foolishly fight to make something work only for it to fail regardless of our efforts. Ever know anyone with a life sentence in prison? They are the most dangerous, and the most capable because all hope is lost in there mind. Stop hoping, start doing. See what happens. We can still have a positive outlook on our situation.
