The more I listen the more I wonder what sort of person wrote this. Super interesting and takes all kinds of imagination and hard work.
I must concur it is a good story even though the authors political bias does come through it doesn’t detract too much from the story so it is ignorable

@@Greywolf905 To be fair, it could also just be a view of personal freedom over all, and a correct prediction of the views of the future. Many if not all authors put some amount of their personal views in their books at some level, but Hambone managed to balance that with its integration into the story masterfully.

Well, yes. Paleontology tells us that early in humanity's evolution a quarter of the females died in child birth. An easily observable cause & effect: Have sex and die. We needed "other reasons" to have sex to overcome the instinct of personal survival. Fortunately, sex is enjoyable. And those who enjoyed sex the most were willing to take more risks to get more enjoyment... And passed on that ability to enjoy sex more to their children who passed it on to their children, and so on with that ability to enjoy sex more getting stronger with each generation. Human evolution wasn't just a story of 'the survival of the fittest.' It was also a story of the survival of the horniest.

Pardon my pedantic ass over here. As I'm sure you'll agree, horniest is one of the thousand thousand qualities that fall under the wide umbrella that is described by the word "fittest" in this context.
Man, you really bring the caracters to life, you can tell the difference in writting between this and salvage, but it feels the same thanks to your amazing accents and characters, thanks again

This is truly great. I found this story a couple of days ago and it has helped me with my insomnia and thrust for quality scifi narratives. Excellent insights into how alien the human species could very well seem to other beings that arent Deathworlders. Most hard science is focused on how potential xenobiology will have evolved in harsher circumstances than us humans have. It is surprisingly refreshing and reassuring for me to embrace the idea that we are much stronger in genetic makeup and mental fortitude than we collectively give ourselves credit for.
10/10 will keep enjoying.

I'm rewatching this playlist, and honestly.... This is the only chapter that has a section I don't really agree with. Being the birds, and the bees bit.
Because, it's like a drug, and I don't know how to explain it with out having my comment deleted, but like drugs. It's addicting especially if you do it more than once.
If you don't do it, then you won't know how to do it, until the time comes a second time.
Now, in regards to doing the birds, and the bees with everyone, and anyone. Well there is already a couple of choice words for people like that, and in the past it was rightfully looked down upon.

Now... About the water boiling slowly...
While I think the author is trying to show an effect of Cimrean's gravity... Its not really accurate. Not completely. If the water boils slowly... It shows that while Cimrean may have less gravity... Its must somehow have a heavier atmosphere. A less heavy , less dense atmosphere would cause the water to boil faster from the lower air pressure.
