Moving it to the week before the Super Bowl and taking it out of Hawaii were the dumbest decisions ever. I used to absolutely love watching it. Couldn’t care less these days. The season isn’t over. The best players couldn’t even be there if they wanted to since they’re playing next week. If we knew there was no more football this season, a lot more people would watch.
The skills competition is actually fun to watch. But yeah, they need to advertise it more.

They need to adjust this event to accuracy when you have an actual pass rush coming at you. Have a robot come straight at the QB and give him a love tap if the pass doesn't come out in time. Any QB in the NFL should be able to hit these targets with NO PRESSURE.

Broncos fan here and I feel similar to Derek Carr the way I do Matt stafford. The man can sling it but was part of a franchise always in turmoil and never had enough help. Hope he gets a ring now that he’s off the raiders lol

I was able to buy a DC jersey at the tour in the raiders stadium this weekend, I’m thankful for him and what he did for my team. Ima buy his jersey for whatever other team he goes too.
I had the pleasure of doing the Raiders stadium tour and it was amazing! From getting to walk out on the field, seeing the locker rooms including DC4’s loaded with his gear, and hearing a hype speech from a hologram of Coach Gruden, it was quite the experience. Between that and the Raiders picking up Davante Adams I was kind of rooting for them to win the AFC.

@@rollen901 My brother bought the tickets and said they were not discounted. There may be a site online where you can get a deal on tickets, but I don't know which. Regardless, if you ever take a trip to Las Vegas I would highly recommend doing the tour. I'm not even a Raiders fan, but it gave me an appreciation for the team and their history, it was also the first NFL stadium I've ever visited so it was cool getting to explore virtually the whole place.

Derek Carr and his brother are both really good people! Derek is good. David had a lot of potential but the Texans hung him out to dry with historically bad o-lines. Amazing the guy can still walk. Disgrace of an organization at least back then. Like sending your kid to go play out on the freeway.

Is it obvious to anyone else that they saved Carr for last because they knew he would dominate. They started with the AFC and alternated between NFC and AFC all the way till the end when they went back-to-back NFC and wrapped up with Carr. The guy is seriously one of, if not THE best, throwers of the football in the league. I wish him the best in his new place.

Literally the best part of the skills competition. They really need to bump it up to 4-5 to include all the QBs AND keep the non-QB slot. Those were the most fun to watch the last couple years.
