I love this painting David, it's beautiful !! When I look at it, I see Hope, shining through !! We all need Hope in these times !! Thank you so much !!!!!
Beautiful painting and inspirational to watch the color combos develop - seeing the blending happening is great to get me to try more mixing on the paper/canvas than on the palette. Enjoyed the video - thanks.
This painting is just delicious! I've watched a number of your videos and wonder if you have any tips on how you keep your wet on wet work going without ending up with dry spots. Also do you sometimes intentionally let an area dry so you can come back in with a lighter or brighter color? Thanks so much for sharing your talent and experience!
Dondi, you have to use lots of paint in a good wet into wet painting. I keep the humidity really low in my studio and I’ll always get a few dry spots, but I just paint over them with fresh paint. Thanks for watching.
Gorgeous colors, David! I enjoyed your video. This painting seemed to come together so easily. Was it one of those carefree paintings that didn't give you trouble? Thanks!
I absolutely love love this painting!!! All the colors that make my heart happy💕💕💗💖❤💜💛💗💖beautiful!!!!!!

I just love this piece! “The Light Within” seems, IMO, to be the light you have in your heart to reach out and teach and touch so many of us!

David, how do you prep the canvas? Is it with liquid gesso or white acrylic paint?
I use Utrecht Professional Acrylic Gesso (listed in the video description). It’s very thick and wonderful.
Nagyon jó.

Barbi, I try for all of them to be carefree, but some need more manipulation than others. Thankfully this one did not. Thanks for watching.
imagination is very free when you paint and the results are so beautiful.
look me too, my friend. Thank you my friend. 😍😍❤❤
Thank you and thanks for watching.
