Joyous, you've got a splendid eye for details, ie the moss , thistles etc and the new dimension of running forwards and backwards for the remote selfie shots worked really well. It's a real privilege to be in your company Carrie, beautiful 😍
@@davidheaven9885 Thanks David, I like to capture the small details. The lichen growing on the signs was amazing, shows how clean the air is up there. Been trying some different film shots to add interest, glad you liked it✌️😊

A place I have always wanted to visit, to have a drink and have a meal, yet despite it being just an hour away, still never been. The wildflower walk between Muker and Keld is one of Mrs Metalmans favourite walks, so we have been quite close before too. Real moody clouds with real boggy ground too and yes, brilliant marketing and if I have did the Pennine Way I would want a T Shirt to prove it. The positive with all the rain was the real nice little streams running, especially under the stone bridges. Yikes £20 for a main meal and I was hoping we would have seen a bit of footage inside the pub and it would not be summer 2024 with out some rain. Just as well you have a new jacket with that weather and if you were looking for solitude that sure is the one to do, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN Hi Alan, there were too many people in the pub to film inside but I agree it would have been nice to capture some footage. I think you should treat Mrs Metalman to a meal there✌️☺️
Hi Carrie I enjoyed coming for a hike with you, its a beautiful area of the Dale's, it's one of my favourite parts of the Yorkshire Dale's and I love keld been there lots of times in the past and of course Tan Hill Inn I was there back in the mid 1990s, I will have to re visit these places again. atb Carrie, it's a big 👍from me cheers Glenn
Hi Glenn, glad you enjoyed it. It's nice to revisit places- that's what I've been doing with these videos, finding new places and returning to old ones :D
I agree, we are lucky to be surrounded by lush greenery in Britain, just wish we had a bit more sunshine this year, it's turned into a wash out this summer so far :)
Good video again Carrie. You film well. You walk and talk well too. Over 10 miles again. The weather didn’t look great but you captured and shared well. I thought I'd already commented on this video but I miss have forgot. Beautiful waterfalls, wild flowers, rivers. You are filming well with the tripod, like that. Funny in the old house or barn,"Stinks of sheep in here" Keep having fun👋💚❤️
I did this walk last year from Muker, the Ursha Gap Camp site, going either side of kisdon hill to keld, loved it and i think up theres never dries out lol

What a beautiful walk! And a pub en route too - perfect! A definite positive to all this rain is that everywhere still looks lush. Great video 😊

When the weather is that bad it can ruin an otherwise beautiful walk. But it's worth it when the sun shines! :D
