    it's not just in Japan, but in Asia generally we don't use a dryer, just a washing machine. we hang our clothes out to dry.

      I remember those days in Philadelphia Pa back in the 1950's we hung our clothes on the clothes line also

      @@willieadams3890 clothesline is superior as long as the weather is favorable. The dryer just isn't as good. There's a certain smell to clothesline-dried clothes.

    Your relative's apartment is so efficiently organized. Loved seeing how the trains work in Japan and the various food places. Everything is so clean there. Violet looks like she is having such a fun time; she is such a cutey. Baby Eliza is adorable.

    Bike locks are on the back of the bike that locks around the tire. If you don't look for it they look unlocked but they are.

    Those units you said might be gas meters were the air conditioner compressors. Their balcony isn’t big enough so they hang them on the brackets.

    Travel is great…..But always be mindful you are a guest in Japan & even if you became a dual national, you’ll still be a guest there. Enjoy the world and all it has to offer pal ✈️🙏🏼

    Just to let you know dude, lock your bike as they get stolen all the time in Japan. Mine was stolen incrementally, first the front wheel then the seat post, you get the idea. Lovely if not slightly damaged country! I lived both in Osaka and NYC. Oh, and your kids are adorable

    I plan on moving back to my home country, but not kansai, My Baba is from there, I am going back to tokyo, that's where I was born right in Seijogakuen-mae. So cool you get to see my beautiful country. also the boxes at 9:24 are actually just condensers for the AC units.

    traveling is fun. I miss the days when I would travel with my sister. because then I could be lazy and let her do the planning etc. now I teavel with my son, he is getting the hang of it using his phone as gps. but I am still the more experienced traveller. no time to be lazy. looking forward to see your take on Japan.

    Find and locate are NOT the same thing in the context you used them. You searched for interesting and found some. Then you located them. You were 100% correct. However, if Violet got lost and you went looking for her, you might use find and locate meaning the same thing. However, again, if she had an AirTag on her backpack, you might locate her and then find her. Do you care? You will be explaining to the kids, soon enough.
    Great video! I love it when you show us around when you are in Japan. How long have you got, this trip? A month or more?
