The little set of tools you found at the beginning is for repairing watches. The vises are designed to hold watches cases and movements, the hammer might be for working with the pins in metallic watches straps.

Heya Ben yeah I've picked that zone every day this week so I got so much of the scrap with a few others doing the same, where you picked up the sink I actually picked the matching steel vanity to it today the guy said he had the sink out but someone took it, I've done mainly scrap but for me, it been two full vans a day been a good area and this seeing almost every house had stuff had fresh by 18.00 tonight cant wait to unload and get back to it in the morning

@@eWasteBen the 4045 necklace is a rarity to me. Thats silver steel. Normally used in construction. If thats 4045 silver steel necklace. I could be worth something seeing that the markets like weird and unusual things lol
925 100% pure silver sir ! Will do good find in my five years of scraping in Miami Florida I once found a 18k necklace came straight home after that just to get a weight and the total was 190grams

Your street scrapping there is like a carboot sale here in uk.only difference is we have to buy from the carboot as its just free for you.here in UK half of that would get either recycled correctly or picked up for resale.👍♻️
With steel high, you passed on a lot of flat clean steel.

What is 925 silver? Ultimately, it’s the same thing as sterling silver! Sterling silver and 925 silver are both made from the same silver alloy blend, with the only key difference being the name.

Hi the chain is sterling silver if it is 925 and the grey metal tool that is in the tool set is for holding watch in place while u work on it it is basicaly a watch repair kit nice little finds mate keep up the good work

Wow, that Corsair 600t at the end looks like it is unused! they are a pretty decent case that costs around $100-200 USD. I've had a rig built in the special edition version since around 2012.

Hi Ben, I agree. It was the worst scrapping day in four years for that area. I think that people just didn't get the message. Few piles and nothing much in them. I got 3 computers only.

Damn that PC case you left behind at @32:04 looked like it was in pretty good condition looked unused with the parts box inside of it, I believe to be a corsair graphite 600t, would've been an easy $50 on fb or gumtree

Could easily have taken the black PC tower at 32:15 to add to the clean pressing at the far corner of the front gate ready to go [ 34:15 ], to go with those heaters picked up. Minimal scrap out to make it clean. An easy get, the day was shot, loads of space, a cakewalk of an unload, always maximise an upcoming load.
I found 6 pcs and two wheelie bins full of cable and lots of stuff

The first pickup. I disposed of a black version of that sort of monitor 2 or 3 yeas ago. An opportunity shop reject which did not fit in their wheely bin. Somehow get it to Ben half way across the country for a tear down.? Obviously not practical. Got it to a scrap yard a few Ks down the road which just so happened to have a substantial crate over head height loaded near full with such gear and it was like, " For sure. Goes nicely with what we have near ready to go. ".Never paid me anything for it.

The apple cinema display is an older apple monitor originaly designed for use with earlier apple pcs and I believe it only uses one cable drawing power from the device it attached to.
The one he picked up doesn't get power from the computer. It uses a separate power brick and a standard DVI connection.
