The first public inkling that something wasn’t right was last year, when his office openly mentioned “Taiwan”.
That incident broke the One-China policy and most likely led to some diplomatic backlash from the PRC Embassy at the FSM’s capital.

Finally I "re-" my favorite all time newscaster-Ms Palki Sharma. I-and many many others have really missed her wit-sarcastic without being "too" unpleasant
Unfortunately what she and the Micronesian Leader said is true.
    China has become a Bully-
A worse bully than us-USA. I don't think we are"currently" claiming to own any entire "sea" and all the Islands in it
I wish China would not emulate USA's worst behavior. We-USA GB RUSSIA FRANCE all OWE china and Chinese citizens(both "countries" a HUGE debt.
They fought Japan the entire war-WW2 despite HORRENDOUS-20 MILLION DEATHS-yes 20,000,000 deaths. If they had surrendered
Japan would have had a much easier time holding USA off in our Island Hopping-and Russia would have been attacked -by Japan-from the east.
Russia gives NO ONE else any WW2 credit-not even their FRIEND FOR LIFE(who they stole Vlad-a-vos-tok from-and other territory)
In any case Ms Sharma is the most "watch-worthy" news caster-and is the only reason I know anything about why India has such HARD FEELINGS
for USA(but India still mis-represents the 1965 Famine relief-one of the few times we-USA- were strictly on the side of the angels-and Indira Gandhi also
was strictly on side of the angels-shame about her-but we-USA-also kill our democratically elected leaders-
Good for Micronesia-sure hope we-USA play fair with them
