Ride like a Cop at NorthWest Motorcycle School

We love teaching people how to ride but we still love to learn ourselves. This course was a humbling experience as it was hard to manage those older Kawasaki K1000 cop bikes. You comment a lot about the rear brake, I now wonder how much difference it will make with the new linked brakes...

It’s still useful. Linked brakes are quite gentle. Even stomping on the rear brake doesn’t pull hard on the front.

Harley linked brakes don't link until your speed reaches 25mph, so slow speed maneuvers such as these would never see the front brake applied via linked brakes.
