Great things to consider! One thing that people often forget is just because someone has a camera doesn't mean they can film your wedding! Also - a narrative or documentary filmmaker (like me) might not be able to do a good job at capturing your wedding as well! (We chose not to do weddings with our production companies.) This is your BIG DAY - ALWAYS go with a PRO!!! (I made the mistake of picking a family friend - and the shots were horrible!). Thanks for the tips Adam! Yeah, narrative filmmakers are not good at the fast paced changing conditions of a wedding. Experienced this plenty with assistant shooters.
