This video was supremely helpful! Great, in-depth review that helped my wife and I make an informed decision on putting the Sakura Bloom on our registry!
Love this review! So very helpful and I love the comparison to the lillebaby cause that’s what I currently use. I’m a little bustier and heavier so I was weary about this fitting me comfortably.
Super informative! Thank you!! Was wondering what fabric did you get your scout in and is it soft? I hear they make different types. Im worried the classic linen will feel rough.
I find the chest strap rings harder to de-strap with a crying baby than the happy baby buckle one. I got the denim fabric and the shoulder strap felt too thick for my petite frame and short arms.
have you tried the scout with the leather straps? I hear they are harder to break in and get used to but curious if anyone has used both and decided to go with one over the other?
I have not tried the leather straps yet. I’ve heard the same thing about them being harder to break in but then supposedly they’re very comfy. I definitely want to try them at some point and see for myself!
I’ve tried the scout with the leather and I preferred the scout without. It’s harder to clean and maintain the leather. And I wore the scout once when it started raining and it was pretty much done for after that. The leather color started bleeding into the fabric and made it look like poo stains or something. It was really gross. I ended up buying the all fabric scout. Much better!

I got linen and I think it’s plenty soft! And it gets softer and floppier the more you use it.

I didn’t realize there was a denim fabric! Are you wanting to sell?
Thank you for telling me what that string on the inside of the scout is used for! I never tried it and never knew why it was there
You’re welcome!
What about using those inner loops you use to attach the buckles that lay across your shoulder blades for the dangly bits of the hood?
I’ll have to try that! Good idea :)
Hi! Trying to use your coupon but it's not applying in my cart. Do you have a code I can enter? Great video!
I don’t have one anymore, sorry! They did away with our coupon codes unfortunately.
Have you ever used it to nurse a baby in? I'm looking for a carrier I could do that easily with
Occasionally. It was doable but not as easy as nursing in a buckle carrier IMO.

This was a great tutorial! Can you front forward carry with the scout?
I’m glad it was helpful! No, it’s not made for forward facing
