Here in korea even you have money, you can't buy the true happiness of life. In Philippines, even haven't much money, but you can find good friends and neighbors have welling to help you anytime, anywhere. If you have good motivation, you find good result.

many Filipinos have a lot of money. Don't generalise all Filipinos don't have money. There are so many exclusive residential areas in Metro Manila Alone. Almost all of them are very wealthy with houses worth millions. You just see what media wants to project that southeast asian countries are poor
Philippine culture is a “being” culture rather than “doing” culture like Korean. We know that life is a temporary gift that’s why we want to live it to the fullest and enjoy every moment of it. Yes, we still work, but we hate overworking. Our jobs do not define us. Our job isn’t who we are, it’s just a small part of our entire life. We also want to explore our other passions and have meaningful relationships. Money isn’t everything. I noticed that in many wealthy nations, emphasis is always on productivity. People are treated like robots, not human beings with emotions. I don’t want the Philippines to adapt this culture. What I want for the Philippines is to keep it balanced: become a developed country without neglecting the emotional and mental needs of the people.
I'm amazed at how articulate you are in English, to think that many Korean actors can hardly speak in English. Not that it's a bad thing! You even speak better English than a lot of Pinoys. Again, not a bad thing but considering English is not the medium of instruction in Korea, that's really awesome. Good luck in your dreams and ambitions!
Foreigners who visit Philippines mostly of them live here because "IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES" eventhough we are not a rich country compare to Japan, south korea etc. but I'm proudly to say that we live in a simple life with no pressure, in that way we are happy and contented.
yeah its hard to live in other countries but as a foreigner i find it so easy to live in the philippines its like im not far from home.unlike in other countries,people here are so hospitable and i never felt alone coz everywhere i go i can easily have friends.thats one big factor why foreign people chose to live here.eventhough this is not a first world country,its not that important coz what matters is how people treat us nicely.no stress and pressure,here in philippines ive learned that people treat you depend on how you treat them.meaning,just treat them properly and u can have lots of bestfriends but treat them badly and youll be fucked up so bad...

Countries like Korea, Japan and Singapore take education very seriously and it puts alot of pressure on its students, the students there are all very hardworking and even go to cram schools in order to better their chances of getting into a good college get a good paying job and be set for life. Although this is good as it produces a competent and well educated workforce it takes a toll on the people who cannot handle the pressure of these societal expectations and hence the very high suicide rates. And based on my personal experience as a Filipino it is the opposite here in our country, we are very relaxed when it comes to school and education in general, we have a culture of being fine with mediocrity, and that is why alot of people say Filipinos are lazy and lack discipline. We like to have fun and are hospitable but I guess in every society there are the good and bad sides.
Another rule for living in the Philippines... you have to always be positive and learn to “go with the flow”. Find joy in your everyday... your life and family and the warmth of Filipinos. Make friends. Socialize. Readapt your TH-cam site to maybe something related to being a new dad as a korean in the Philippines...something like that. Your life is all in your heart and mind. And that son of yours... too cute!!!
My mom is filipina and my dad is thai korean we live in korea for 10 years i stusied highschool there in seoul i was so pressured there because my classmates they get high grades so i should too if i cant i will be bullied by them. until i decided to transfer here in the philippines with my mom and study here. until now i dont regret it. 😍😍😍😘😍😘😍

After that fateful 9/11 attacked every businesses suffered ..the economy suffered big time. My family filed bankruptcy and because of my great experiences working with my family business luckily I got hired as Resident Manager at the Hotel . But a lot of people are scrumbling It took a while before the economy get back to track. And now another disaster came that deadly disease Covid19 ...worse than 9/11. You can read it all over the news about the impact of this virus around the world but thank God our Country has less cases compared to other Countries. I hope and pray it will not rise up ! I felt bad because our economy in the Philippines are going back again to the right direction . It's growing up tremendously ! Philippines is the second riches Country After Japan ..back then . All I can say...we all need to stay positive pray and stay safe while the whole world is suffering from the great impact of COVI-19 with the people and economy. I heard that living in korea is really stressful. The standard of living is really very high. A lot of expectation from everybody. If you feel that korea is not making you sound in body and spirit, i thnik you really did a good decision of living in the philiippines. As many would say, Philippines is a third world country. But even if that’s the case, filipinos are very caring, loving and very generous even though they only have a little. We may be a poor country but we are very loving and caring people. The society in SK is cruel where parents always try to push their children in the sake of ‘Family Pride’. I went to SK once and sorry not sorry, what I saw in the K-dramas was the opposite.

Pati sa drama nila may pasimpleng pakita na kung anong kulturaat ugali nila like mabilis maubusan ng pasensya(impatience),di papatalo makipagsumbatan(medyo warfreak)nambabatok kahit bata o matanda na yung tao(pupukpukin sa ulo yung tao pag may katangahamg sinabi o ginagawa,nakakasama kaya yun at least sa pinas,hindi ninonormalize yun)mataas ang tingin sa sarili, prangka sa pagsabi kung pangit ang tao(Mas ok pa kahit papano mga pinoy) Nakapanood din ako ng mga vlogs about korea confirming my observations about them.Ganun pala talaga ugali nila. Karamihan,not all naman.Kaya nasabi ko,kahit pala mariming bwisit sa pinas,mas okay pa pala ang ugali ng tao. Ang gusto ko naman sa kanila,productive.Ayaw magsayang ng oras.Bawal late at may disiplina. Ilan lang yan sa nakita ko sa kdrama/vlogs etc.

yeah its hard to live in other countries but as a foreigner i find it so easy to live in the philippines its like im not far from home.unlike in other countries,people here are so hospitable and i never felt alone coz everywhere i go i can easily have friends.thats one big factor why foreign people chose to live here.eventhough this is not a first world country,its not that important coz what matters is how people treat us nicely.no stress and pressure,here in philippines ive learned that people treat you depend on how you treat them.meaning,just treat them properly and u can have lots of bestfriends but treat them badly and youll be fucked up so bad...

Countries like Korea, Japan and Singapore take education very seriously and it puts alot of pressure on its students, the students there are all very hardworking and even go to cram schools in order to better their chances of getting into a good college get a good paying job and be set for life. Although this is good as it produces a competent and well educated workforce it takes a toll on the people who cannot handle the pressure of these societal expectations and hence the very high suicide rates. And based on my personal experience as a Filipino it is the opposite here in our country, we are very relaxed when it comes to school and education in general, we have a culture of being fine with mediocrity, and that is why alot of people say Filipinos are lazy and lack discipline. We like to have fun and are hospitable but I guess in every society there are the good and bad sides.

Another rule for living in the Philippines... you have to always be positive and learn to “go with the flow”. Find joy in your everyday... your life and family and the warmth of Filipinos. Make friends. Socialize. Readapt your TH-cam site to maybe something related to being a new dad as a korean in the Philippines...something like that. Your life is all in your heart and mind. Life here is very stressful .
I came here because of my family business. After that fateful 9/11 attacked every businesses suffered ..the economy suffered big time.
My family filed bankruptcy and because of my great experiences working with my family business luckily I got hired as Resident Manager at the Hotel .
But a lot of people are scrumbling
It took a while before the economy get back to track.
And now another disaster came that deadly disease Covid19 ...worse than 9/11. You can read it all over the news about the impact of this virus around the world but thank God our Country has less cases compared to other Countries.
I hope and pray it will not rise up !
I felt bad because our economy in the Philippines are going back again to the right direction . It's growing up tremendously !

All I can say...we all need to stay positive pray and stay safe while the whole world is suffering from the great impact of COVI-19 with the people and economy.

I heard that living in korea is really stressful. The standard of living is really very high. A lot of expectation from everybody. If you feel that korea is not making you sound in body and spirit, i thnik you really did a good decision of living in the philiippines. As many would say, Philippines is a third world country. But even if that’s the case, filipinos are very caring, loving and very generous even though they only have a little. We may be a poor country but we are very loving and caring people. I think the main reason is learn language in cheapest university compare to USA, Canada or Australia and its closer to South Korea
