Since you are university educated, you have several options to earn much better in the Philippines: 1. Of course, you can be a TH-cam vlogger( as I can see you already have several thousand subscribers) which can be monetized obviously. 2. You can do part time as Korean language teacher as many filipinos are working in Korea and Korean language is also being taught in the universities in the Philippines now. 3. I'm a filipino. I am living a good life. I can say we aren't poor and at the same time, we are not rich. Basically, on the middle. At the beginning, you've mentioned about the birthday of Thym. For most Filipinos, Birthday is so important to celebrate but to me, I usually celebrate it simple just like how you celebrate your birthdays :) Just a simple celebration of the gift of life is enough. Living simple is not bad. Also, dreaming bigger dreams is also not bad. :) I pray for your success and healthy life with your family.
Im like you, we dont celebrate every bday or occassions except Jesus bday.most of d time we just pray n cook food for ourself . We priortized the important ,like kid education or future .just in case there will be emergency we have money .
Don't need to borrow money . Now we r able to retired early .Our daughter finished her master ,got married n presently building their own house .( these are own opinion only ) .
