We me K-Lee and Molly Brown needed to see this video. Who wants a perfect ragdoll,? Molly Brown do you know who wants a ragdoll with out a few flaws? We me K-Lee and Molly learned from your teaching From Austin Texas and me K-Lee and Molly Brown ✌️☀️🤠
Aahh thank you .. I simply love your calm simple way of doing things. You are a wonderful teacher.. I am so inspired.. I want to make one and send it to my granddaughter who lives in Perth Australia.. thanks again.. lot's of prayers from Johannesburg South Africa 🇿🇦
This is adorable! I'm making rag dolls to give away to homeless and battered women and children shelters. I love the way you did the hair and the closure on the neck. I'll definitely institute some of these! Thanks for taking the time to share ❤️
A straw and a chopstick to turn the fabric works great! Put the straw inside and push the chopstick on top then feed the fabric over the chopstick if that makes sense! I’m a doll maker but love your simple tutorial ♥️ I noticed you didn’t mention the fabric layout which can matter. There is a stretch to cotton fabric and some other fabric as well. Wherever it stretches the most you want to cut the pieces so the stretch is horizontal to the top and bottom of the limbs/body and for the head the stretch should go vertical to the top and bottom of the head. Making little cuts around the curves or using pinking shears will help it be more rounded. And more stuffing will push the fabric to give it a more rounded look. Using the chopstick to push and spread the fabric into the seems.
This is so cute 🥰 I will be giving some to my nieces. will send it to them, I hope u know u did an amazing job on this rag doll, It’s so adorable❤ Thank u for sharing.
I just found your tutorial i have been making a rag dolls from another pattern but I was wanting to try do a smaller size, I thought making a pattern up was too hard but after watching you im going to have a go loved this ❤
You did an amazing job!! I want to make some for my grandkids. I hope I can do as good of a job as you have. I recently made them some gingerbread people to play with which gave me the idea to make them some soft dolls. Everything is so expensive now. Sewing is less expensive.
You could use the flat end of a knitting needle to push the pieces to right-side out after sewing. Much easier to a pen. You could also use the knitting needle to push the stuffing in rather than scissors.
Thankyou! This looked so interesting and how cuuute! I want a tip. How do you bring the right side out of the hands and legs pattern? I find it very difficult. If you could make a tutorial of that, it would be very helpful. Also, what’s the size of your doll?
Hi! Gosh I made this a year and half ago & it’s the only doll i’ve made. Maybe pliers to bring it out? A chopstick? I want to say the doll was around 10-14” long!
Hi, th is cute. But the pattern isn't to hard if they follow instructions & also they could screenshot it. But if you can't buy the items, then use old clothing & stuffing from an old pillow & maybe ribbons from your hair or something else. But would make her eyes open, not always sleeping & use blush instead of embroidery pink floss. The hair is good. She is very cute. Don't you have extra fabric from other projects? Being a sewer, you should have extra fabric hanging around. I know I do, & I gave a lot away. But have enough. I'm making a Tilda doll for my younger daughter who will be 49 in a few weeks. It's just for a shelf to sit on. But I think she'll love it! Thanks for sharing!☺️
Would love the pattern. My 9 year old wants to make her first doll and I am not a drawer! Lol she really loves this doll and you make it seem like she can do it. If you have a pattern or help on how to draw it that would be amazing.
Hi Holly - sorry, I don’t have a pattern! If you have a doll at home you could trace it as a starting point. I think there are sellers on Etsy that sell similar doll patterns. Maybe they’re running a black friday sale. Best of luck & happy holidays! ✨
sighing because my sewing machine is a sears kenmore model from the 50s and i (and the internet) barely know how to use it but i know it would be so much faster than hand-stitching. i would be unstoppable! until the bobbin tangles again
It's been a while since I made this and I just did it from scratch... guessing with measurements and all of that -- sorry! Best of luck with your doll!

Just plain cotton from the fabric store and the skirt is tulle! Hopefully that helps. Thank you so much for watching 💓

Omg I have the hardest time with old sewing machines. I cry at least once every project from the bobbin tangles, too. Hang in there! 🧵
Do you have a pattern for this doll I would like to get one if you do..
Hi Linda! I do not have the pattern for the doll - I should have saved it. So sorry! Thank you for watching. 💓
Just screenshot it. Maybe make it bigger. It should help!
I'm planning to buy a sewing kit but I don't know how to sew. Please can u give me a step by step guide?
