      Gutter guards clog faster than unguarded gutters, and they end up acting like no gutters at all, letting water just flow right off of the roof onto whatever is below, it cost more to clean gutter guards than it does to clean regular gutters.
      So if the extra cost to clean the gutters is worth on top of the cost of the gutter guards themselves,people love throwing money away.

    My brother in-law had a gutter cleaning job that was a 3 story house with a metal roof, and the top end was more that a 12%incline.. we was about 60ft up looking down at nothing but concrete driveway.
    He bid the job for ONLY $300!! I told him I would have charged at least $500.
    I just wanted too know if he low balled himself? Cause I think he could charge more but idk.

    • @Tonyhouse1168
      @Tonyhouse1168 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely lowballed. Think about this: you gathered all your tools, drove to the job, set up everything, climbed up 60’ onto a sloping, hot, metal roof, then cleaned and sprayed it down. Then had to climb down, pack up, drive home, unpack and clean up. You did that for $150 each. 3 jobs on the same street? Your pricing is great; doing all that for a one-shot? You’ll kill yourself before you get rich.

    I have never in my life seen a guest that was packed full to the brim... the owners of that place need to spend hmm maybe about 30 minutes a week? Instead of waiting 6 months.. but hey, you getting paid my brother!!

      Those are foam. They just have a layer on top of them. Bad solution. Hope he just put a screen on top or just leaving the gutters open would be better. Lol

      It’s not. It’s foam, you can buy it at Home Depot. It’s a brand called “GutterFoam”.
