I hate CHemex. If you have a nice, fruity coffee, the filter is thick and reduces the intensity of the beauty of the coffee. Try making the same coffee on more than one Drippers.

I completely agree that it makes it twice as hard to make a beautiful coffee. It’s not that it’s bad but it takes a longer time to dominate the recepie

I currently use a ceramic “Melita” cone for my pour-over coffee.
Now you have succeeded in convincing me to at least rry the Chemex.
The problem is… I am reasonably sure I will love the Chemex, and abandon my beloved Melita.. 🙁
    Oh well… life continues…!!!

I would certainly wouldn't abandon de the Melitta. If I'd were you I'd get a 6 or 8 cup Chemex so you can use it to make coffee for guests at home. Also, they vary a bit. The Chemex has a thicker filter usually resulting in a cleaner cup. Also the brew time for the Chemex is a bit shorter, producing a magnificent coffee. Whatever it is you do...pleaaaase give the Chemex a try! I promise you will love it!
