Okay, so it's easily the weaker of the two ports ever done of this Neo Geo classic, but still, it's quite impressive that they crammed so much in for the SNES.
This game was quite fun to play. Especially this version which was easy. In fact, all SNK TFGs are easier to play on the Super NES and the Genesis, Fatal Fury 2 was also good on the Super NES.

Absolutely a horrendous port. Takes 10 attempts to execute Dargon's dragon kick. In the first World Heroes it was no issue whatsoever on snes. But world heroes 2 is a problem. I tried it on neo geo emulator and it was fine. So it's definitely the port.
cartridges storage limitation in the 90's prevented ports on Snes from being quasi identical to arcade versions . if high capacity storage chips had exited back in the 90's , we would have had all neogeo games ported to Snes with the same quality of the arcade version , may be 85% similar
I loved making up what I thought the moves were like J. Max throwing the football sounds like "Pummel Scott!" and Mudman's projectile sounds like "Mustard man!"
I'm going to say that the SNES/Super Famicom is way much better than the Neo Geo version and that reason is because the difficulty. Even on normal mode to play the AI is completely broken in the Neo Geo version the game played was very notorious for its difficulty. But on the SNES version I was able to beat this game on a level 7 difficulty and I had no problem beating the game. This version I had more fun the most
Great conversion to the SNES, a tad easier than the arcade, and the arcade version found on the PS2 World Heroes Anthology. To be honest though, I love Perfect the most, biggest roster, better controls, though sadly, the best version IMO happened to also be the end of the series.

And I will play this game again soon one day, with either the Super NES controller, the Super Advantage, the Capcom Fighter Power Stick, and/or the Fighter Stick SN arcade joystick controller, as well as the Retro Bit Retro Duo Portable handheld system.

La inteligencia de la maquina se ve que es lo peor... En el vídeo se hacen jugadas que claramente en arcadia no salen o te ponen en tremenda desventaja frente al rival. Eso de lanzarse y agarrar al enemigo en World Heroes 2 original es un suicidio seguro, hay personajes que te cambiarían el agarre a la primera: C. Kidd, Ryoko y Erick no te la perdonan... A Dio lo dejaron como un idiota, cuando es uno de los jefes finales más complicados que han hecho en Neo Geo; sus ataques siempre tienen prioridad, si lo intentas agarrar siempre te cambia el agarre, no puedes jugar a la ofensiva con él pues te da una arrastrada, aquí lo venció como si fuera el primer enemigo y en nivel 0. ¡Pésima adaptación!
Except this is a sequel to it's original game, and not the 4,000th iteration of the exact same game, plus the WH characters at that time had more personality to them than the SF characters had.
