Happy to be able to shed some light on the subject - I AM in fact 190cm. The hand math into YGO stacking was correct. Unfortunately, Farfa is not 170cm. If you look at the photo, you can see I am in the foreground whereas Farfa was a little bit behind me.
As someone who has met him IRL, I can confirm that Farfa is 6'7" and 240 pounds of pure muscle.

They forgot to take in account that the picture looks like they were standing at a diagonal angle with Farfa furthest away from the camera, which is why the discrepancy exists
170 cm is not 5’5, it’s 5’7 aka 5 feet 7 inches. The 5,5774 just means that it’s 5 feet and a bit over half a foot in base 10, but a foot is 12 inches and an inch is 2,54 cm so do the math

As a kid, I saw older players using sleeves. I didn't know anything about sleeves, so I assumed they were laminated. Went home and tried it. I remember I did it to a few 1st ed pokemon foils and a BLS. I still cringe thinking about it.
When I started playing yugioh my dad had bought a big lot of random cards and it came with some laminated cards that looked like someone had tried to remove. It was so strange to see and I cannot figure out why someone would want to laminate cards then later try to remove it.

When i was a kid in school one of the other students accidently ruined one of my cards. In order to fix it, they ran it through a laminator to make it like a card today. Came out better then i expected and not ruined, but a little soft. Might work better if done with a not-ruined card.
Farfa is absolutely on point with the hand size does not equate height statement. I am 6 ft 7 inches, or 200 cm tall. My hand cannot hold a basketball in one hand like the NBA players cause my hands be tiny.

I used to laminate my yugioh cards because I was a dumb child that couldn’t afford card sleeves. My laminator was so shit that it didn’t get hot enough to melt the foils I put through it. I just have a couple hundred laminated cards in a box somewhere that I will probably never use again.

I'd say we make these heights canon solely for the effort this dude put into this "proof".
The Duel Links one is (sadly) true. Although like half of the text are restrictions to make sure you play a skill together with the specific archetype and don't just splash it into anything. Can make for kinda interesting skills or ones that make usually mediocre archetypes strong. But this can also lead to skills that basically dictate how your deck should look like and how you play every duel.
Probably worst offender being the Destiny Hero Clock Tower skill. Sure, it made pure Destiny Heroes top tier for a while and let you actually resolve the slow ass effects of the field spell. But this was such a boring deck...seriously did the same plays every single duel.

A popular complaint about basically all game mechanics introduced after Xyz monsters (Exceeds?) is that cards and decks do too much. This is the same issue people have with (extreme) combo decks that fill a quarter hour with plays of their own and end on a board with multiple omni-negates or similarly strong interruptions (including handtraps).
Playing too much YGO on your turn lets games end on the first turn.
Games that go more back and forth, where both players get a fair opportunity to play for a win, are what most players enjoy, so here we have a situation where less is more.
And to slow down the game enough for that, what do you do? You play floodgates.
I mean given that they set their reference point from something as small as a pinky/card and blew it up your window of error is going to be pretty noticeable. I wholeheartedly believe he's 182 it's just the math has an error window of ±12cm

Like, I totally agree... combo-ing is fun, and using hand trap is fun. they both having fun, it feel like puzzle. the problem with tear is they can not just negate you, but gain advantages from deck by milling, and you just have limited resources. that a bit unfair.
I think it's because of the way the photo is shot, the line that Farfa and MBT makes isn't perpendicular to the camera: MBT is closer to the camera than Farfa is, so farfa will appear shorter in relation to MBT

Tbf Its not a good frame of reference for Farfa's height. Its pretty clear Farfa is slouching abit while Doug and Joseph are standing up as straight as fucking possible, even pointing out their chins lol. And farfa seems to be farther from the Camera while Joseph is abit closer. Making Joseph look quite abit larger from the angle while Farfa looks shorter.

Im sorry theres no way that Farfa is 180 cm hes clearly as tall as Doug at best. Now im an american but 180 cm is 6 ft tall i believe, and ive stood next to Doug and spoken with him on several occasions at events, and im as tall, if not slightly taller than he is and im only barely 5"10.
