But starting Giolito without a full rest is a desperation move which seldom works in the post season. Look at how it did not work out for Cleveland in 2016.
@Ernst Starkhört Correct. Edit forthcoming. The fact remains, he has mastered the big individual moment on the big stage. That makes him the guy, in my opinion. I believe the winner of this series will CRUSH the next opponent offensively and head to the World Series, at least.
@Ernst Starkhört Flat fastballs don't work in domes. I would've went Lucas and Rodon there bc they're PITCHERS. Bring Lynn, Cease, Gio, etc out at home where the ball is gonna dance a lil bit bc of the crosswinds down there on 35th. OAN, Larussa ALMOST blew this one. But I think those boys turned it on last night. Houston HAS TO CLOSE IT today or they're fckd. When our pitchers come with attitude, we're the best team in baseball. Our pitchers have the personalities and intensity. They can't be flat anymore.
