Appreciate you, man. I miss Ed Farmer so much. Listening to him taught me how to score a game, how to think along with the pitcher, where the outfield was and should be aligned. I was at college watching this one on TBS so this is the first time I've heard the radio broadcast. Absolutely beautiful.
As a lifelong twins fan, this was the first time in my lifetime the twins had the possibility of going to the playoffs in my life time. I have distinct memories of being in full blown tears as a kid for several days after this game
@@vasilijestrugar603tbf chances are he was like 5-6 in 06 because from my personal experience I didn’t know what the playoffs really were or their significance until I was like 8-9
Another one you should do for forgotten classics is game 6 of the 2019 ALCS. This game had everything, good pitching, timely hitting, and good defense. And you can’t forget the walk off that sent the Astros to the WS
A potential classic you should do is the Yankees-Twins ALDS game from 2019. That was the wildest playoff game I’ve ever witnessed, especially the game winning catch at the end!
I was taking my preliminary ACT test my senior year of high school. I snuck a radio and headphones in. My teacher didn't like and was confused when I screamed NO! when the Twins lost.
Would there be another part to the “amazing comebacks” series? I feel like this past season had great comebacks that are meant to be recognized in another part
It's such BS that this game was played in Chicago based on a dumb coin flip, when Minnesota had won the season series against the White Sox. This should have been a home game for the Twins. MLB actually realized how dumb it was and ended up changing the rule the next season; using the head-to-head record instead.
I loved this team, such a shame Alexei and Danks came on just a bit too late to be part of that world series team. This year was the final hurrah for Buehrle, Konerko, JD, AJ, Bobby, Uribe, Crede, and Ozzie. At least they made the playoffs one more time after that WS run to try and take one more stab at it. Also Griffey's last season in which he made the playoffs too.
Coin flip, yet the Twins had a better head-to-head record. So stupid that they changed the rules the next season. Should have been a Twins home game. I'm still angry, haha.
Mourneau really was one of the most people overrated players of the era. Dude did nothing in September/October EVER. Biggest empty calories hitter of the 2000s
Hopefully my score bug isn't too distracting, the footage I used didn't come with one for some reason so I had to make my own!
I think it’s a bit too big but I would rather it be there than not, so thanks!
Yeah it’s really big, make it smaller and it’ll be so much better!
Nah man it's no problem at all. Thanks for the video!
If you made it a line like Bally sports does it would’ve been better. But it’s better than nothing. Good job.
I see that, but it's missing a ball and strike count.
Crazy to think Ken Griffey Jr. not only played on the White Sox but also had an all-time moment for the franchise with that throw home

Griffey, Thome, Konerko, and Dye that’s 2,006 career home runs between the four of them on that squad
A potential forgotten classic I’d love to see: 2013 ALCS Game 3 (Lackey vs Verlander)
Oh yeah That’s a great one
I love this series that you do. Good thing this isn’t the 2009 Tiebreaker…
I seen that. It feels like your playing a video game
Always my favorite time of the year when you start making these forgotten classics
The black out game was amazing
As a lifelong twins fan, this was the first time in my lifetime the twins had the possibility of going to the playoffs in my life time. I have distinct memories of being in full blown tears as a kid for several days after this game
Yeah, baseball can be heartbreaking.
We’re you like 2, because they were in the playoffs in ‘06
@@vasilijestrugar603tbf chances are he was like 5-6 in 06 because from my personal experience I didn’t know what the playoffs really were or their significance until I was like 8-9
Yay, this series is back! Very excited to watch.
THE SERIES IS BACK
By far your best series on your channel
I miss 2008.
Another one you should do for forgotten classics is game 6 of the 2019 ALCS. This game had everything, good pitching, timely hitting, and good defense. And you can’t forget the walk off that sent the Astros to the WS
No one has forgotten that game.
Who would have ever thought that Brian Anderson would become one of the best play by play announcers today?
My favorite series is back in action
Thome and Jr. That's 1200+ homeruns in the middle of your order.
Dont forget Konerko 🥵
@@RyanAngelo90 over 1600 home runs across three batters, yeesh
He’s back!

That was a regular season game in July, not during the ALDS.

Yes we r back with the classics. Idea for one: 2016 nlds game 4 was vs lad Ross vs Kershaw plz do this one
Would there be another part to the “amazing comebacks” series? I feel like this past season had great comebacks that are meant to be recognized in another part
I'll probably put out another part early next season!
I speak for just about every Sox fan but I fucking miss Ed Farmer calling games

A coin flip? Are you fricking kidding?
Sox fans are amazing when they are good. . might be a long time before that happens again

I was at this game. Electric in the stands
great video! from Japan
Another forgotten classic you should do is game 2 of the 2017 WS. This game is often overshadowed by game 5, but still a crazy game
I think he did that one
Great pick 😉th-cam.com/video/IXKI6q_NSdo/w-d-xo.html
@@EXE-EditsI didn’t see that 😂
2018 worldseries game 3 or 2018 Nlcs game 7
possible forgotten classic: dodgers vs brewers, 2018 nlcs game 4
RIP Game 163
This is forgotten for a reason, my team lost.
Lmfao go White Sox
KG on the White Sox? When this happened? 🤷🏿♂️🤨🤔
suggestion: Braves v. Dodgers NLDS Game 3 2018
How did they determine who played at home if they had the same record?
it was a coin flip if i remember correctly
@@colinstiles9424 Oh fr? I thought it was determined by season series

@@JS-ik2vt We was gonna beat Minnesota anyways🤣
@@JS-ik2vt Yeah, the controversy over the coin-flip is one reason they changed it. Should have been played in Minnesota.
yo do 2013 world series game 3
who was gonna tell me griffey was on the white sox?

Expanded playoffs ruined this sport.
