Would like to see you do a review on a pair of Ottawa’s. I have 5 pairs of GS’s. 2 pairs of Diesel’s and 3 pairs of Ottawa’s. I would say the Ottawa’s would be my most favorite GS boot. They were my first and I love the nst look. I’ve been looking at the Brass boot but I want the black cxl Brass with the wedge soles but I also can’t decide on just the regular black cxl with the lugged sole because I like the antique welt on them. I just can’t decide.

Great review Patrick, thank you! I bought the GS Dune Brass boot in March; they are beautiful! Its color makes it versatile to wear all year. When I bought them they were on sale. I hope they are still on sale.

Had to come back and watch this again. I just ordered the Ottawa boot in Dune and had to remind myself what the color actually looks like since pics online of CXL Natural are all over the map. This will now be my 2nd pair of GS. First pair of Ottawa impressed so much that I had to get another. GS has the Dune Ottawa on sale right now for $296 which is too good to turn down. Thanks again for sharing!
Great choice of leather for your pair of GS. I have the Dune Ottawas and they are aging like fine wine.

Quality boots for sure, would love to try on a pair. First time hearing about this brand, thank you sir. One more thing...the blue socks look great, but I couldn't make out the brand name even with close captioning. Fill me in, because I'd like to get a pair.
Oh really? First time hearing of Grant Stone? I feel special bringing you into the fold! Basically - highest tier quality at mid tier price. I've yet to find anyone with a negative thing to say about GS (unless they think China manufacturing is the worst thing ever).
The socks are "Sodello" Birdseye socks. I bought them on Thursday Boots website but I just looked and they don't appear to offer them anymore. They are good ones though.

Don't mind me asking but what's your sport shoe size? Did u size dont by 1/2 size for grantstone? I am asking because I typically wear 10 D for red wings and size 10 for nike shoes and ur foot size is the closest to me. I have eyeing grantstone boots for a long time. 😊
Good question! Usually I wear 10.5 in sport shoes. I do size down by 1/2. But the Brass Boot is a very roomy boot. I wish I had sized down a full size (to 9.5). I also wear a 10d in my two red wings. Hope that helps!
Get full size down ! The Brass last is very roomy. I tried first 9 1/2D Brass (1/2 size down from my normal tennis shoes size of 10D), but I still had room . I exchanged it for a 9D ( a full size down from my normal size) and it fit perfectly.
Agreed. Full down is more likely to fit based on what most people have experienced.
Man Grant Stone is killing it. That boot looks fantastic, they could probably charge 500 for these

@@rockymtnstyle i'd rank em in the following order (from most fav. to "least fav"): Plain toe blucher, Longwing, traveler penny loafer, Diesel, Ottawa, and Oxford. I have no interest in their tassel loafers or coastal sneakers ( I have several minimalist sneakers and they rarely get worn so I can't justify adding another. Brass is my next choice.
I have 7 pairs of GS and love them but sizing is critical I have a vary wide left foot and diesel boot takes for ever to break in for me and brass is perfect E or EEE and I have weird feet left is a 10 and my right is 9.5 so when I get 10s I have heal slip on Right boot all the time but love the content

Last Nikes I had were awhile ago. Pretty sure I was 11. I'm also 11 in Adidas and 10.5 in Hoka running shoes.
