If your degree is not listed on Anabin, then you need to have it individually assessed by the German Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB)

Hello,thank you for this video.If I may ask,I thought on your post its written no German Language test and English but in your video,you made mention of getting a German and English language test from Goethe and ielts respectively. Just to mention a few.Also I have a degree and from an English speaking country which means I was taught in the English language, will that be enough?.Thank you

My University is listed with H+ in Anabin , but unable to find my degrees for the university.Does this mean my degree isn't recognised ?
I think Blocked account is required for opportunity card as well , it will be around 11 lakh INR.

I have a masters Degree from Australia. and Bacholer's degree from the UK Will this allow me to meet the language requirement of level B2? Since my degrees are from English-speaking countries, I don't need to provide IELTS for University admission/Student visas in many European countries including Germany. As per now when we login into the VFS website for visa appointment, there is no option for opportunity card or chancenkarte. You think this option will be added into their website before 1 June or just after 1 Jun 2024. In other words, when we will be able to book an appointment for opportunity card, before 1 June or the appointments will start from 1 June 2024. Thank you

Hi. I am a landscape architect (a regulated profession in Germany). I did my master's in 2017-19. when I checked my point I didn't qualify because in the last 7 years, I don't have 5 years of experience, I have a little more than 4 years of experience. Is it taken into consideration, if one was studying for 2 years in the last 7 years? As otherwise I don't qualify for chancenkarte.

Hey, I'm currently working part time for a German company and I've a work contract, but they have created the contract from other country. I also have another part time work contract from a Australian company. Can i use this contracts while applying for the visa?

I have ielts result for 5.5 B2 back in april 2020. Do you think I need to take it again or Can I use it.
I recommand your to learn German and give A2 exam for that. If you are planning to live there, you have to learn it now or in future, so do it now. They will also prefer someone who can speak even a little bit of deutsch (ein bisschen deutsch). Learn even if you are from IT field (just like me) and our job will be in english
Hi, 5.5 B2 level, it's qualified. But u took on April 2020. So, when u apply for an opportunity card visa in June 2024. My question is,
Test report in 2020 and applying in 2024. So, Visa officer will check for the IELTS test taken year? Or is the IELTS test should in the same year as 2024?
@@bhaskarsriramulu The problem is, there is an expiry date of IELTS cerificate ( i am not sure about exact duration but check online ). If you have an expired certificate, most likely it will not be considered for visa application. But you can still try, maybe they will accept it. noone knows.

Hi, Yes I have checked online. Any IELTS test report is valid for 2 years and if we apply for a skilled work visa program. Then it's valid for 3 years.
So, since we are applying for an opportunity card visa. I am not sure, validity matters or how can chk or what happen if I submit the same IELTS report to the Visa officer.

It makes no sense doing that. If you have a job offer then just directly apply for a work/resident permit.

You may be permitted to work for 10 hours per week on a trial basis for a position you apply for using your job seeker visa. You need to discuss this with your employer & the immigration office in your region.

I have a remote job in a company from USA, can i use their offer letter as proof of funds. I am earning more then 932 EUR per month in my current job.
You can't use another country's offer letter for the Chancenkarte. You have to have an employment contract with a GERMAN employer for 20 hours per week; OR have a blocked account with sufficient funds as mentioned in the video.
