I’ve been yelling at the screen ever since people have Reacted to this video THE DRUMMER HAS A GLOVE ON!!! Thank you Dominica for mentioning the glove. You are the first one I’ve heard say glove.I can now die a happy man. Love y’all.❤ Oh and I like this cover way better than the original.
Stewart Copeland from Police also use gloves when playing. Some drummers often deals with very sweaty handpalms and that causes problems holding the sticks.... But in this video, its of course is a kind reference to MJ 😊😊
Michael Jackson had seen the video and approved. At one point, he didn't want the dancing kid to be wearing the medical mask, but changed his mind. As for all the little MJ-isms in the video...the lean they do in the boxing ring is from an MJ video, the girl jumping in the pool with the wolf head on (Thriller), the old guys doing the crotch grab, the drummer is wearing a sequent glove when they move to the setup outside the house, the sequent glove chair, the chimp (MJs was named Bubbles), the Billie Jean sidewalk lighting up, the crotch grab with windows breaking on the car, the steam coming up from the ground, the guys doing the Thriller dance, guy at the end has Elizabeth Taylor tattoo (MJ was big Liz Taylor fan and friend), the eyes on the guy at the end (Thriller) and the kid dancing with the surgical mask.
I agree. I hated this song & video when it came out but now I like it. I was a bit more of a music snob when I was younger. Most of the music I was not crazy about back then is 100 times better than most things coming out today.
Buddy of mine was a promoter/manager. Had these guys play a few shows before/after they signed with DreamWorks. They worked hard to get to this point. The rest of the album is good without Smooth Criminal. So its a bonus.
@carlrogers3505 My husband opened for them 10 years ago, and they were a treat to work with, which is hard to find 😬 Their newest album is astounding if you haven't checked it out yet. I've had So Cold on repeat for a few weeks lol!
When they show all the kids sitting in a lawn in front of a white house, that white house was micheal jacksons childhood home in gary indiana. I lived 20 min away from there my whole life. I have visited it before.😊
You two are definitely experiencing musical growth. The more you're exposed to different genres of great music the greater your love and appreciation grows. It's what I like most about musical reactions. As the Tool fans always say: "Spiral out!"
Confession: I heard this one before Jackson's version, and was born in 1985. I even bought the fucking CD. It wasn't very good. Lovely reaction, though...
Man ive heard this a thousand times and the bass line always gets me 🔥

you forgot the Asian girls fangirling over them.
The guy at the end is Flea from Red Hot Chili 😊
Great one guys. This cover was so creative and great tribute to the true King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Great request Tony. Peace and love to all.✌🤗🙏
i really did love this better than the original!
Another good and honest reaction... it was just a cool, fun rocking cover... a homage to the 🐐 MJ❤
All the people in the video are fans. They let them know where and when it was going to happen and they showed up.
Ahhh...good one guys! lol We love our MJ. Should react to the full original video.

I do like the Grunt over Pop, that base line and the man behind it❤
This is my youth right here. Great Times :)
Everyone has a soft spot for MJ lol
For an outstanding cover of another MJ, check out Chris Cornell's take on "Billie Jean"
"I find a beauty in it."
So do I.
I suggest, The Atari's - Boys of Summer
Mama you understood the mask referenc, so many don't understand it. GREAT JOB!
haven't seen you in a while. great job as always.
Michael Jackson was on board with this video and helped direct it. This is probably my favorite cover of any song ever. :)
Long time no See. Im missing your Rammstein Reactions
