Hahaha. Great job, N&L. I’m surprised you found so many references to MJ on your first viewing. Kinda a minor rite of passage for reviewers to tackle this. At least, that’s how I first found it - on reaction channels. Fun and definitely something different. Appreciate you both. Hugs 🫶🙊🫶
I am always amazed about how many MJ fans watch this and miss so many references, so, good job but the kid wearing the mask is a reference when MJ wore the mask, the drummer was wearing a white glove and there is more.. Been tempted to make a full list. Honestly, I am not a fan of remakes but this one I like better than the original.
Never seen that before. Lots of references to MJ’s own videos and his personal life too. The leaning move is the most famous from the original video. I met the choreographer from MJ’s video and learned the secret to that. Thanks, Michele!
Great reaction!! Personally, I LOVE this version! Nothing beats the MJ original - but AAF did a great job with this cover! The energy, groove - it all paid perfect tribute and homage to the King Of Pop (RIP)! I have a 90's alternative playlist - this is on it. For my 80's pop/rock playlist, it's MJ. Cheers!
AAF is based here in Southern California (Riverside). Their personal music backgrounds are varied. They got asked to play and did in Wales at a MJ tribute. Personally i loved this version and the video was fun. Though never really confirmed to the band that MJ loved both the song and the video. It was reported that he was shown the video before its release. ❤
That was a great request Michele, I hadn't seen the video in a long time so I really enjoyed it. Actually I prefer this version to MJ's original (sacrilege I know) but the main riff is perfect for a band that plays this style of music. I'm not so sure that AAF are in the Korn, Limp Bizkit school of nu-metal, to me they are more in the pop punk mould of Blink 182, Sum 41, early Green Day etc. Anyway, I enjoyed it a lot and it reminded me of my CD store in Cape Town where I sold a few copies of this album surprisingly enough! Thanks guys!
Very fun video and great version. For something different, how about reacting to Afro Celt Sound System, like, Release from their 2nd lp (1st track on the lp for Lex!) I think you guys will love this band if you haven't already heard them.
I'm not that into rap, I do like some metal but I love the band Faith No More....who blended metal and rap beautifully. You have never reacted to them. Check out their song "Epic"....and other Faith No More stuff. They are amazing!
They sent MJ the video prior to the release, originally he didn’t like the pop lock kid wearing the mask, they reshot his part absent the mask while they were already on tour, turned out he preferred the mask version.
Can genuinely appreciate Nick's comment about (attempted) metal/rap fusion, yet still gonna toss this suggestion yr way: Anthrax & Public Enemy "Bring the Noise". Very short tune, way more than worth the time. Cheers!
While this is a great cover, it kind of upsets me that it causes the rest of the album to be ignored. It is a phenomenal album and the musicians in the band are phenomenal as well. I actually just saw them live last week.
We read that MJ loved the video and approved of it. You're right its a mock, but they're big fans of MJ and had an entire back and fourth with Michael about what and what not to include.
Never liked this band or this version of the song! Just does not do anything for me. The original is a classic! The video is funny and is a good time! Thanks Michelle!!! Much love!!❤
If only the band members of Alien Ant Farm asked for your opinion, instead of known child toucher Michael Jackson, things could have been so different.

The singer backs into the smoke or steam, imitating the Pepsi commercial incident where Michael was seriously burned.
WOW! Cool trivia!!
The steam was a reference to the Dirty Diana video.

Love this better then the original

You had me at Michele Michele! 💚💙💜❤

The drummer is also wearing a single silver glove
When he is on the light squares he pulls up his pant legs 👖 because in Billie Jean you can see Michael's socks 😅
Michele thanks I remember it well it was fun with the scream
I actually prefer this version.
If you get an approval from MJ that's all the validation you need. These guys killed it!🤘🤘

Bent spoons... Uri Geller
The sequinned glove chair
Bubbles the chimp
Liz Taylor tattoo.
I absolutely love the original but Animal Ant Farm did this song justice!! Michael Jackson's monkey was called Bubbles...lol..😊

I've always loved this version! But, I prefer the 2Cellos' version, which you've covered in one of my Marathon and of course I love the original too!
I love this version 😢
Korn is the shit!! I’ve been in love with them since I was a kid!! Check em out!!
This is an awesome remake. MJ approved
You left out the 4 guys posing like king of the hill
Nick, just enjoy it lol
Excelente versión
Amigos " era de uranio" de Spinetta. Una armonia y dinamicas "apocalipticas"
❤❤
The 90s haha
It's from 2001, but very 90s-influenced indeed.
This version is him ☺️
I love AAF version.
Dimas senopati terbaru oke

Same band did lapdance is so much better when the strippers crying. So this is not a MJ tribute its a mock
We read that MJ loved the video and approved of it. You're right its a mock, but they're big fans of MJ and had an entire back and fourth with Michael about what and what not to include.
Incorrect, that song was by the band "Bloodhound Gang". This is a cover, not a mock, and everything was given the okay by MJ himself.
It's just suppose 2 b fun, it's not pink floyd
Never liked this band or this version of the song! Just does not do anything for me. The original is a classic! The video is funny and is a good time! Thanks Michelle!!! Much love!!❤
