This was my plan B..thankfully plan A worked out...i am disabled hurt on the job(spinal injury) found out i could live abroad and still get my social security..so i moved..now i have two homes a house in a gated community and a vacation condo..to see my doc and get my meds cost about 100dollars a month...my sons catholic private school is 60 a month..the mortgage for my house 200 my condo 220...all in on a 4week month my bills usually are about 800 a month a 5 week month will go to around the 900 mark..best of luck to all..but know if like myself and you find yourself on SS consider a low cost of living country to reside...its a blessing to never worry for bills...
The raise floor that allows for the deck & the garage is awesome. The radiant floor heating is great too. And real furniture. Nothing says home like real wood furniture.
I love seeing the smile on Diane's face as she is showing her van to Bob. She just looks very happy, proud of her build, and content with her life. This appears to be a common theme in Bob's videos...everyone is smiling and enjoying their lives. Who could ask for more?

So I've been getting bored with van builds cause they're virtually all the same. This one is GENIUS! Using the back as your entrance gives you so much more wall space! Great build!
Such a beautiful person. I love everything about her build. My 2 favorite was the beautiful painting on her pull out deck & the deck. But I love how she put her bed. Not taking up most of the van like most van builds do. An she’s so right the better view is out the back, not a car next to you. She has great solar, just seems she needs a better battery set up, an a better sink & shower area. Love everything about her. Very organized..

Well, in fact trio, never forget the dog, but unluckily the little guy was almost all the time invisible here ... ;-) This is one of those rare videos here on this channel which I had to immediately watch again, since one time watching wasn't enough for me to catch all these incredibly clever ideas and details. And it is also one of these videos where I simply cannot prioritize what was the best idea in it since here simply everything is best idea, even after watching it twice. And this means even best idea under so many different aspects, e.g. using old family heritage furniture is not only totally clever from point of functionality and design and of course also from financial POV but also a very smart method to comfort yourself by creating a new but also known and trusted and proofed environment which makes you immediately feeling at home. ALL of it was brilliant! The huge garage area, deck, skylight, back door not side door gave extra walls for cupboards etc. With a shower planned later with hot water, to me, this is the ultimate! Well done!

Thanks, Bob for another Great Video. Among many interesting ideas, one of my favorites is the pseudo sink. A sanity saving dedicated pseudo tidy spot to put stuff while ‘doing a day’. That way you always know where things are until actually tidying at a convenient time. The hanging trash can might be great, too. A tie for first place? The deck - a marvelously versatile horizontal space of luxurious proportions. Yahoooo. Cheers, and happy trails 🙏🏼🐾🎶
I liked the fact that she started with a clean sheet of paper. As a result she has a unique floor plan. When I was shopping for a van I found a new 2019 sprinter that had no sliding doors, only the rear door. I couldn’t see how I could make it work so I passed
This was a good video. Her enthusiasm for her build was my favorite part and liked the garage concept behind the slider. I’m about to do my box truck so videos like these are fantastic.
I’m a true minimalist, I prefer less as possible .. The narrow bed is me.. . I sleep that way! The best part of the interview for me was you introducing me to her channel …. I vibe with her, I need some sanity in an insane world, a place where folks can agree to disagree and still be peace .. just sub to her channel
That walling in the side door is something I would never have thought of but it really opens up many design possibilities doing it that way; if I had to pick one thing that is my favorite because that and raising floor makes the other design elements possible like the garage and deck. Great job and I love the name of her YT channel, Cultivating Life. I'm not sure why but it makes me think of a gardening show I like, Growing a Greener World.
