No wonder I feel so uncomfortable towards people who doesn't understand me. Sometimes, being called weird can be a compliment for me. But when the person who calls me weird doesn't seem to get my vibe, I become insecure that's why sometimes I mask my personality by being the polite and quiet kid even though I still can't help but be awkward when it comes to conversations. I also daydream out a lot because it loses me from my focus in listening to my lectures.

Someone called me “aloof”’once and my heart broke into a thousand pieces because I genuinely love people and want to be kind. I guess I don’t realize how my day dreaming and need for alone time can be perceived as rude. I always thought my heart was full of joy and love and people must see that.
Now I am self conscious about how I come across and it makes me act even more awkward.
    INFP life....the struggle is real.

Lately, I've been reading manhwas/manga/manhua. It is not moving nor does it have any bgm but in my head is a play. The characters are moving, breathing, speaking and there's music. There are also times that I am so immersed that I smell what the environment is, the food they eat, etc. So it's so strange when they finally got animations/movies then I watch it because I feel like I already did.

Does anyone else get so in their head that people walk up and startle you? A coworker took my phone and went through it - what they could, anyway. I put it in a drawer and walked off, my own fault. I never really had trouble making friends when i was a kid because everybodys a bit weird and their personalities arent fully formed yet and I never really had trouble making friends as a teen because in high school n everything you tend to find weirdos you vibe with pretty easily,, at least for me. The older i get the more i am confronted to more "adult" situations (prime example: going to work) and this is where it kills me the most. I just sit in my corner at lunch and watch everyone whos like 5-10 years older than me talk about the most meaningless things and regurgitate stuff thats been said a thousand times..... and they all find each other funny ?????? or whatever????? like i dont understand how people can actually be invested in small talk and not fake everything ..? When im alone with a coworker and they start talking to me i feel like i have to meticulously think about every word i say and i always come out as disingenuous or distant when its never really been like this when i was younger,,,,,, When im with close friends or people in my art classes i dont really know i dont feel like this at all (or very little), i just feel like im 13 again with that whole "normal people scare me xdd" thing and i dont likr itttt
Whenever im with people i dont know now i really really really overthink everything i do. I feel like im stuck between finding how to fit in better, learn socializing tips, or just learning to accept who i am. I feel as if i spend a lot of time researching stuff like this it will just lead me to overthink everything even more and lose track of myself, but im very scared of just accepting the way i am bc its not treating me good right now. aaa i feel so stuck im someone who really loves humans and really getting to know people and whenever i have to do ANYTHING thats a bit superficial i always come off just so bad aaaaargh i cant do this yall 🥲

As a successful INFP-A the two greatest things you can do are:
    1) never underestimate the power of humor to seem more "normal" or at least "relatable". Especially in work environments when realistically our not-so-serious dumb founded looks don't make us first picks for promotion, even though we know more than the vast majority of the people working there.
    2) set realistic boundaries, have realistic expectations, and make your needs known. Always remind yourself that everyone around you lacks the same level of intuition as you. Our idea of being obvious is completely different than what a normy sees. We may pick up on a slight change in pitch, feet facing a certain direction, eye moment, or even if someone's breathing changed....but normies just won't pick up on it and/or known what it means.

I could say im pretty outgoing but I'm surprised to hear other people say I'm quiet and weird. There is that sense of isolation from people not getting where you're coming from. Being alone is the most comfortable to me since i dont need to adapt to anyone else's language or expression for them to understand me. When alone I can truly be myself not caring how I look, how I appear to act, or if I mess something up. Its freeing, but sometimes lonely of course. But that makes friends and lovers even more special, to act like myself in front of them, someone who could listen to my rambling late night thoughts or my pretentious manner of speech. You need to treasure yourself more. We all feel like that at times and yes it's challenging but we fail to see the bigger picture. I was bullied for the duration of my twelve year scholastic life. Why? I stood up for myself a handful of times but otherwise was silent and put up with the abuse. You don't need to. If I were you now I would engage in Boxing lessons and stand up for myself.

INFPs are definitely misunderstood but are actually so cool once you get to know them, they’re hilarious, down to earth, accepting, non judgmental and very genuine and sincere people. They’re deep thinkers They tell it like it is always and despite their issues (insecurity, mental health) they have such beautiful and pure hearts and I think that’s one thing a lot of people secretly envy about this personality type. Because their souls are so pure to this world they automatically assume everyone is like them. But that’s the problem. The INFP can be very naive but it’s not because they’re stupid, it’s because they’re pure. I don’t think they’re awkward they can be shy which isn’t a bad thing at all and they’re true to themselves but that doesn’t make them awkward or boring they’re the complete opposite once you get to know them just often shy

I read that there are lots of INFPs out there who feel exactly the same but can't find any other people of their type, why not making an IG group for INFPs where we talk about our issues and random stuff😊 But I am too shy to write my IG name haha😂

Being both an INFP and Enneatype 4, yes, I'm weird and I love it. It used to make me feel conscious when I was branded as weird and emo by my friends but when I grew older, I just accepted it and am now happy to be weird. Haha! It makes my Type 4 self happy that I maintain my uniqueness. 😍💖

I LOVE MY INFP PERSONALITY TYPE!! It's not easy and I definitely struggle, but the older I get, the more comfortable I become with myself.

I always felt different and I was thinking that there's something wrong with me. I love helping people but at the same time I'm afraid od them, cuz they tend to use me if I only give them a hand. I want to give all into every single relationship, but then I'm left alone and no one cares if I have problems. Sometimes I think that world is too scary place to live in, worlds into my mind are more safety places. Probably my mood is a reason why I'm thinking like that, cuz I spend next night all alone with my sis dog,my friend avoiding me and I don't even have anyone to talk to🍵📖 Sorry for that,I'm going back into my safety shell and go drawing 😂

I've been called Evil, Selfish and Proud by family even, at times. So weird is the nicest honest remark I can get.

This, exactly this. I always wondered why i clashed with people who (which i found out later) said extremely hurtful things about me behind my back. I didn't know for most of the time, but honestly, i may have already felt that they were dishonest with me.

Lately, I've never known how to act around ppl just to fit in. So I've been acting and fooling around my coworkers, and see who I can trust or talk to, and it's hard, bcuz I wanna be quiet and withdrawn, yet I wanna be around ppl so badly. I've been getting out of my comfort zone lately, but it's hard, cuz then my negative self-conscious thoughts come in and make me think I'm annoying or boring, or just something bad about I'm starting to talk to ppl, yet at the moment, I'm afraid of messing up my chances

INFPs seems weak or different bcs.. They don't have much friends.. And they focus on quality rather than quantity...
They never afraid to be alone or being themselves...
    The love so much solitude...
They never say things unless they mean it.. They won't act excited or sad or happy if they don't feel it!!
They say what they think... Honest and it give kind of cruel impression..
They don't crave for others validation cuz they know their worth!!
And finally I learnt to listen to my inner voice no matter what after I went through one personal incident and it always reminds me to be who I am and do what my mind say to do!!
