I love your new sweater!!! perfect use for single skeins. Just incase you aren't aware, if you knit one round in your new colour before starting the ribbing you don't get the little spots of white shown on the outside of your sleeve. Also if knitting with different dye lots you can alternate skeins every row or every other row if working flat and not have to cut each time just carry it up the side, its such a game changer! Cant wait to see the finished cardigan.
There is no such thing as too much yarn said any one who knits ever! I love the yarns you have purchased. I especially love the bright pink colors. We are never too old for bright colors. Thank you for your recommendation of Hill Country Weavers in Austin TX. I was blown away by the selection of yarn they had to offer. I am not as prolific a knitter as you but I have a yarn stash that suggests otherwise. I am looking forward to your next video to see what you have finished
Your Sophie Shawl will be fine and lots of people actually switch colors at the midway point and it makes an incredible looking scarf when wrapped around. Yours will be beautiful.
I don’t knit but love hearing your enthusiasm. Love the sweater you’re wearing. The fit, the V, everything about it is perfect! If you hadn’t mentioned the V and cuff alteration and the blue that wasn’t a part of the choice, I never would have known. So pretty!
I had the pleasure of meeting LeAnn from Forbidden Fiber at SAFF in Asheville, NC (our own sheep and wool festival!) last year. She was so lovely to talk to and I bought a couple of skeins of pretties from her. ❤ Being a stitcher, as well, it felt doubly special to meet her in person. So enjoyed your video!!
Your Northwoods sweater is fabulous. I love the added color blue stripe! Your videos always inspire and brighten my day...and energize me! Thank you for all that you share!
Love seeing your projects! Counting rows in garter is one of those things that once you get the visual idea, it's easy. Put a progress keeper/locking stitch marker on the "front" side that's facing when you knit Row 1 and then when you count on that side, every garter ridge is 2 rows.
Your striped sweater is stunning and the added bluey grey is perfect and your cream cuffs are perfect as is and never have to be as long as the body stripes. Beautiful new valentine socks as well.
GOOD MORNING 🎉 HAPPY TO SEE YOU TODAY…..I WATCHED ALL OF YOUR MARKET VIDEOS… NEVER BEEN TO ONE SO IT WAS AWESOME 😎 TO SEE ……. LOVE 💗 THE SWEATER…. I WANT TO KNIT A SWEATER SOOOOOO BAD , BUT NERVOUS 😬 ABOUT IT ….. YOU DO INSPIRE ME 😘
I was so happy to see you recorded a new video. Love the north woods sweater. The blue looks great with it. Also I thought the yarn change on your Sophie shawl was intentional. You have such a great eye for putting colors together. I love the hot pick sock yarn. Can’t wait to see it knit up.
Love all your knitting projects!! I love that you show all options/designers/makers of hand dyed yarn.. More options for me to shop at. BTW.. where are you posting your progress on the battenburg blanket? Excited to see your progress!!
Thank you! I've been sharing pictures on instagram as i complete squares and trying to keep my ravelry page updated though I need to add the last 2 colors!
You are amazing! This sweater colors are gorgeous and it's very flattering on you. How long have you been knitting? I watch your cross stitch/quilt videos but this is my first time watching your knitting videos. I'm impressed.
Oh thank you!! I taught myself to knit 20 years ago, but I haven’t knit much over the last 7-8 years until this past 6 months when I picked it back up again!
I love the row of blue in your sweater - it’s kind of unexpected and so pretty. The Battenberg is coming along well- love the yarn colors. I’m still working on my beanie (first knit project ever) and finally finishing up the ribbing portion - I’m also not fond of the purl stitch, feels very awkward. I’m sure it will get easier with practice. It’s kind of a hot mess with lots of mistakes but I’ve decided I’m going to wear it anyway! 😆
Elizabeth, I started watching you because of your picnic quilt video. Love ❤️ you so much! I don’t knit(🤫) but loving the yarn colors you use. I’m also loving your nail polish! If you could please share the brand and color. It’s so difficult to find a good nail color for me🤪. Again, ❤ your content. Great job.
Thank you!! I'm not sure on the nail polish, its from my salon and its one of the gel colors, I think it might've been called tiger's eye but I cant remember!
Love all the projects!!! I love knitting 🧶 socks!! If you never have knitted with self striping yarn for socks 🧦 you’re going to love it!!! Use The Crazy Sock Lady pattern Heel Toe Do Si Do pattern, give self striping yarn, a fun look, but I just did a regular cast on and knit two / purl two for cuff 20 rounds. Hope you give it a try, think you will love the pattern & texture it gives the self striping yarn!!! Happy Knitting!!!! 🧶
Hi. I don't knit, but my daughter does. I like your sock blocker. Can you tell me where you got it? Maybe my daughter would like a set for Christmas. Thank you.
Thanks for all your sharing. Just starting to learn to knit socks. Sorry to hear about your ruined project! But that made me wonder - does that mean you can’t machine wash hand knit socks? I know the answer depends on the type of yarn but I’m thinking sock weight wool blends. I don’t hear much about the care of hand knits garments.
While I don’t think the pattern specifically calls for it I have done the Comfort Fade Cardigan several times and I k it that in the round and steek it because I hate purling. I’d be happy to share my notes on where I start the steek if you decide to knit that pattern.
All your knitting is beautiful. I was wondering what Sock heel do you find to be the easiest on your socks. Do you knit 🧶 the same heel on all socks or do you change?😊
Thank you!! Mostly I just knit the heel flap and gusset type of heel, its the easiest one for me, I think it fits me really well so thats what I do! I have tried a short row heel and fish lips kiss heel a couple of times but I usually just stick with the heel flap
My God girl do you ever sleep? You accomplish so many great projects. Thanks for sharing.
I wish I could knit as fast as you! Or even be able to think in that manner, all the math!! Love your projects!
I love your new sweater!!! perfect use for single skeins.

oh good to know! I definitely need to try a cardigan in the round next
Beautiful yarn you have purchased. Did you receive the order you put in for market? Have fun doing all the knitting. Walk in Peace. ❤❤

I am a fairly new knitter. Are there any podcasts that you know of that would benefit me? Thank you.

I used to think of you as a prolific Cross Stitcher, but now I see you as a prolific Knitter. Your sweater and socks are beautiful. When do you sleep?
Woah that dye lot change on the shawl!! But it’s wrapped around your neck so who cares?!
