Your Alpine sweater and Lakes stripe sweater are both so great! I can understand why you want to work on both of them. Hope you are having a great time!
Oh, Liz, your color work sweater is gorgeous. I love the green in there as it really sets off the pink. What a clever use of that precious yarn. Well done!
Agreed! I’m not even a purple fan, and I think yours is one of the prettiest colour-combos that I’ve seen. I think you did a stellar job with the SpinCycle. It’s hitting the Alpine Bloom in all the right places.
Love love your sweaters. I think the green looks great in the flower motifs in the one. Hope you’re having a fun visit with family and visiting some shops too😉
I'm loving your Alpine Bloom Sweater! The colors are stunning. Wishing you safe travels on your vacation! Enjoy yourself and can't wait to see your finished sweater and socks when you get back.
Sweet girl, I can't wait for you to get your tee done. The color is so good for you. Loving your knitting and excited to see your crossstitching get done also. I want to do that one. Have fun on your trip!
Love your sweaters, they are both looking so pretty! I hope that you have a wonderful trip. I hope you get to go to the cross-stitch shop. Take a video. I enjoy your videos so much. Can't wait to see you again.
Liz, I always enjoy watching your Flosstubes. Your alpine sweater is gorgeous! Such perfect colors for you. You make me want to knit again. I knitted many, many years ago. Maybe a new cotton sweater is in my future. 😊🧶
Liz, your sweaters you are knitting are going to be so beautiful. I love the pretty yarn for your sister s socks! Have fun on your trip, and I hope you get to relax and work on your projects. 😊
Lightbulb Moments…..shared with Gracious Friends….No No LIME GREEN is Perfect for your gorgeous sweater….have a great family time with Hubby and Family…..
Thanks for staying up late 😂! The striped sweater is beautiful as are all your knits. I’m knitting my third pair of socks (ever) and a DK vest…trying to branch out but I love knitting socks.
Both of your sweaters are looking incredible. I love the striped one and think I need to make one. AND, thank you for mentioning that connector piece to add another cable cord to your working needle. As you mentioned it, I was thinking, that’s a great idea. Oh my nerves, I have one of those. How dumb of me. I have to remember as I’ve been doing, like lots do and pick the individual stitches off. Oh my, your color work sweater is looking incredible. Gorgeous colors too. Awesome podcast. Enjoy your vacation with family and friends.
Liz inspired me to knit, even though I said I wouldn’t. 😹. I have started a simple scarf. My goal is to knit socks. Liz’ socks are so cute! I don’t see any sweaters in my knitting future.
Socks can seem scary and intimidating, but they’re actually great to learn with! Because they’re small so if you need to frog out, it’s not so devastating!
@@StitchesOfSass Thank you for the encouragement! I am going to make a simple hat to learn how to read a pattern, increase, decrease, etc. Then I will try socks. I already have yarn, of course. 😻. Liz is such an enabler!
Hope you are having a good week. Love your knitting! I have a question re the fairisle yoke … is the different coloured ball designed so that it changes colour as you work through the pattern and you get the green foliage and pinky flowers?
Lovvve your alpine bloom! In your flock video, my first reaction to strawbaby and sakura was oh girl, don’t do that! But once again, i was wrong. It’s a perfect combo! From what booth did you find the strawbaby? It’s beautiful.
@@elizabethanncanstitch i didn’t think of spincycle being there but duh, it makes sense. I was hoping a shop name might help me find it. You have a great eye for color btw!
I use the chia goo interchangeables and I dont have any trouble with them untwisting if I get them screwed on tightly! I use the little Tpin that comes with my cords to tighten the needles on and then I have no trouble!
Why not just do a longer ribbed section. You can make it exactly as long as you need it. The green in the yoke of alpine bloom is a beautiful offset to the pink!
I thought about that but I think for a tshirt I'd prefer a shorter chunk of ribbing! I went ahead and knit the extra stripes to make it 3 inches longer!
Liz...thanks for your sweet visit...beautiful knitting...I need to start looking for a leggings pattern for my teenage grandgirl...if anyone knows of a good pattern...let me know...best wishes for a great trip❤
I love both of your sweaters, great progress. Have a fun time on vacation. Happy knitting and stitching!

Love your sweater! I aspire to knit as good as you someday. I would add 3 more inches. To me, too long is better than too short! Have fun!

The Alpine Tee is looking fabulous. To my eye the limey green really spices up the pinks in a very good way.

I love that striped sweater. I’d go for the 3” but that would always be my personal choice anyway!!
Yeah I’m doing the longer length! Knitting on it right now!
Love your color work sweater. I’m so envious! Have a terrific vacation. ❤❤
Love all the knitting! And of course the punch needle. I’m working on both knitting and punch needling myself. And cross stitch!
fun!!
Have a GREAT vacation!!!!!
Thank you!!

Love the colors of all these knits! So many fun projects!
#goals, for sure! One of these days I'm going to dive into the knitting, but for now I'll just enjoy your amazing work until then! Have a great trip!

Thanks for sharing ❤ all your progress! Enjoy
It’s late night Liz! 🎉
I'd say do the ribbing in the pink. As you decided. Very nice sweater!!
OK...That pattern is absolutely Fantastic....Wow it's so beautiful...and I commend you!!! xo
ooooh Cormo is so nice to knit with.
👏👏👏👏❤️🇺🇸🎉 HAPPY STUFF …. THANK YOU 🙏😘
Enjoy your trip!!

Love ur update! Enjoy ur time off from work with knitting and maybe a "little" xstitching.
Get a high light on ur hair? 😍.

I think the 3 inches will look great! You wouldn’t want it too short as it might ruin the look.
You should go to Ruby and Rose's in Lafayette❤
Your knitting is beautiful. I’m not very good at knitting, but I like to try.
Lovvve your alpine bloom! In your flock video, my first reaction to strawbaby and sakura was oh girl, don’t do that! But once again, i was wrong. It’s a perfect combo! From what booth did you find the strawbaby? It’s beautiful.
😂😂 the strawbaby is from spin cycle
@@elizabethanncanstitch i didn’t think of spincycle being there but duh, it makes sense. I was hoping a shop name might help me find it. You have a great eye for color btw!
Signed up for notification when it’s available from spincycle. Thanks for inspiration from a big ole copycat.
Everything is beautiful! What size needle do you use most for your socks?
I usually use a US size 1.5, sometimes a 1, depends on the pattern or the person I'm knitting them for!
You could do a longer rib depending on how much extra length you need.
Hello. I have a question. Do your interchangeable needles come apart when you are knitting? And how do you keep them from doing that?
I use the chia goo interchangeables and I dont have any trouble with them untwisting if I get them screwed on tightly! I use the little Tpin that comes with my cords to tighten the needles on and then I have no trouble!

That’s what I’m going with!

yeah I did go with 3 inches!
