When I saw the title "cheffing up french toast" I knew you didnt catch a fish 😂
Thought the same exact thing😂😂😂
Mark is always getting skunked 🦨 😂😂
😂😂
if you get a chance Mark my suggestion is to hit up local sporting good stores where people might have knowledge of rivers and streams to fish. they might be able to help you. I did the same thing when I was in the Tohoku region and it was nice to meet local fishermen who have a good layout of the fishing area
I did! They said in the winter you don’t catch much
You're my favorite creator, Mark. I wonder if you can catch fish with salt or meat instead of worms
Slept on channel! Keep it up Mark the delivery in these videos is on point just calm vibes yet interesting content
A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work. With those fish I'd try 2-lb test, the smallest floater possible, and no weight on the line. The bait sinking slowly while moving downstream should get them interested.
Pick up a tenkara rod and use flies or very small worms.
Surprised you haven't picked up a Japanese fly fishing rod.
You’ll get a fish if you keep tryin man maybe look into a guide or a charter boat nearby still wondering about all those species in Japan
the Japanese fishing arc is more lit than the chunin exam! lets go mark! love from Philadelphia.
That was surprising interesting to watch, it shouldn’t be, but it was…🎉
I hear they have alot of trout in Japan. And it's probably brook trout. They are very skitttish. you have to sneak dowwn with justt a hook and a worm on it and baasicly let the worm go downsstream.
CRYSTAL GUY!
Thanks for making more vids mark. I hope your channel blows up.
Bro you gotta sneak up like a goddamn ninja, if the fish see you you’re cooked. Then cast your bait all the way up stream and let it drift with the current.
Love your videos, Mark! Do more videos frequently whenever you can!
Thank god for Mark. His scooter edits are insane too
I went to my local Daiso here in the US back in 2021 and bought some lures, a collapsible bucket, some soft plastics, and some rig organizers that I still use to this day.
Went back to 2 different Daisos this year looking for cheap reels, and they have gotten rid of all fishing supplies since then, unfortunately.
We have Daiso stores in the Houston area too. Pretty interesting to see a real one in Japan looks like.
Can I just say, bro is growing into a MAN before our eyes? So proud of Mark and his entire journey, keep up the good work.
Astonishing channel full of wonderful recipes, facts and beauty. Thank you.
i like how you show when you don't always catch something, it's much more realistic compared to other fishing videos on youtube. maybe u need to try flyfishing there with tenkara or something.
I like my French toast the same way, no milk just egg! Looks Delicious!
So happy to see you Posting again, thank you Mark!
Glad to see you're getting back to regular uploads again. :) Hope all is well over there!
Awesome video better luck next time catching some fish man you will catch something keep trying 👍🙏🏞🎣

Love seeing this Japan content! I'm from the midwest, never been outside the country, and really enjoy the layout and look of these towns! Keep it coming, Mark!
Thanks!
🌴 what kind of fishing laws do they have ? Did you ever catch any of the fish by the bridge ?
Nice video man! I’m moving back to Japan in a few months so don’t be eating all the good food before I get back home lol. Have fun in Japan!
crystal nutz
i also have a creek running through my city but it's filled with carp and gar instead, a lot easier to catch. maybe try a fly rod or tenkara with dry flies?
Always enjoy your videos of your life in Japan.

lol
It’s so cool you can talk to the locals since you know Japanese. That sounded like a little girl asking if there was any fish lol, she seemed very nice and curious. Do you get a lot of looks or questions since you don’t look all to Japanese?
🐐
