I had one,lovely sounding engine when up around the red line and the sound came from the fact that it was a 360 degree twin,like Triumphs,both pistons rising and falling together.
I had the CB 250. Sounded just like that. The CB 175 was so much better looking than the CD, which was ridden by blokes who carried sandwiches and a flask in a gas mask satchel.
Yes, all considered, it was a nice thing for it's age. I would just ride it as it is, although there were a few things that could be tidied up. It was a pleasure to ride.
I had the same version back in the 70's . Yes the original blue was sparkly candy blue it was very nice .. That one does sound like loose camchain but it's very easily replaced . Around 75 to 80 top speed but the headlight is only 35 watt and there's no voltage regulator so if you upgrade headlight it'll slowly drain the battery so don't ride for hours at night like I did . Great bikes . Cheers !

This was a lovely bike, as are the 250s. We got to look around a 350/4 a few weeks ago and that was a joy.

I would as I love them but if you can't use spanners or don't know anyone who can then stay away as they are old now
