Technically the spells wouldn't even fizzle. The Arcane Denial would fail to counter Kona, but the draw effects would still happen. And then countering the Arcane Denial to deny those draw effects would be a valid (if questionable) decision you could make.
Arin brings such a lovely chaotic awkward energy that is so unique and charming. IT also bleeds into the rest of the chaotic energy from the rest of the colorful cast. Truly a magical episode with great guest chemistry. I look forward to the return of these wonderful friends!

Presumably the people off-screen are freaking out because, while it is all legal, it is a waste of resources and less entertaining for people at home.

Some counterspells have additional effects that don't rely on the spell being countered (like arcane denial or absorb) and sometimes, you can use fizzled counterspells as fodder to get card types in the graveyard for delerium, or to fuel delve spells or to hit threshold. So while it is usually not great to counter uncounterable spells, there are reasons to do it, and it's important to know that uncounterable doesn't mean hexproof while on the stack. So you can still bounce spells with cards that do that before it resolves.

I have a Yasova Dragonclaw deck, and Yasova Dragonclaw has this little interesting aspect of her that many would call, *the big stupid.* So much so Gavin Verhey did a video on why this cycle of effects were bad and unintuitive. ANYWAY, the fun thing is, You must *always* name a target for Yasova if there is a legal target to be named. But it gets worse. You don't pay the cost until the ability has resolved. So an opponent must choose to play any protection prior to you paying the cost to do Yasova's effect, "wasting" their protection since you now save 3 mana.

Thank you for changing the layout of the players' battlefields on the 4-player overhead shots! It was always really disorienting to go from the main camera view to the overhead camera view and be left wondering whose board was whose. A little rotational transition would also help viewers understand which side is which (whether the left or right side of the main camera view has become the top or bottom side of the overhead view, i.e. whether Prof is located in the lower-left or upper-right of the overhead view).
I don't know why, but now i want to see Brian do an episode about pod size. "Many magic the gathering players ask the question: how many players is too many in a commander game". And show him go through a series of games with 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 players to see at what point everyone is just like "omg just let it end!"

I love transformers so much i learned english before portuguese. 😂😂 im 40, i was like 5 when the show started in portugal. I still remember watching the 1st ep, i stand up and shaked the tv super hard. I was so small that the tv and stand fell on top of me. A message for Amy, i just finished building my own transformers commander deck since im also a massive fan of the G1 cartoon, Prime cartoon and Bayverse films haha. It's WUBRG so i can run all of the transformers, the commander is naturally Morophon and ive built it around energy counters (for energon flavour) in a stompy creature frame because what else could transformers be haha. Its a very low power, very chill deck to play and i love it.
At 26:10 "who dares disrupt my coronation??" Galvatron replies "Coronation Starscream? This is bad comedy" Starscream, not realizing death is literally reaching for him "is that you Megatron?" Galvatron, cool AF "here's a hint!" Transforms and turns Starscream to dust, basically using Full Metal Alchemist transmutation. The crown falls through the ashes formerly known as Starscream. I Urza-ing LOVE that movie.
This episode was AMAZING!!! One of my faves. The quote Arin wanted at 25:59 is "Coronation, Starscream? This is bad comedy!" Which I waited the whole game for someone to say to Amy, so close! I ADORED Amy's TF theme deck & crown setup the extra mile! The entire Dark Souls bit at 45:19 was immaculate, editors went extra hard this episode.

This episode was AMAZING!!! One of my faves. The quote Arin wanted at 25:59 is "Coronation, Starscream? This is bad comedy!" Which I waited the whole game for someone to say to Amy, so close! I ADORED Amy's TF theme deck & crown setup the extra mile! The entire Dark Souls bit at 45:19 was immaculate, editors went extra hard this episode.
