I like how the only reason why Zenkichi was even able to enter the Metaverse and save the Phantom Thieves is the fact that Futaba tripped on flat ground.
I think they made it feel like that on purpose. For a person who at the time wasn't a persona user, BOY he was good at hiding. I mean come on you're used to controlling the phantom thieves. Anything less just feels clumsy and slow. They got our boi Gramps down perfectly.
@@Nova-_- Yeah, it was definitely a great scene. Loved it. Laughed my ass off tho when a shadow looked DIRECTLY AT ZENKICHI but didn't do shit because he was in a hiding spot.

1:02 When I first heard the melodies of Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There and Life Will Change, I lost my shit. That was such a perfect way of illustrating the Monarch's personality
Usually in games, I take a liking to the protagonist and don't usually play other characters. As I absolutely love Joker I thought this was going to be one of those games. But then Wolf happened.
To be honest, I was pretty much waiting for Zenkichi to awaken his own Persona at this point in the game. The way he and the Phantom Thieves vibed, I knew he was meant to actually be part of their group despite being both a cop and an older dude. His awakening was still badass, though.
SPOILERS Never would I have guessed Akane would become a Monarch, even if she was only used as a bait for the thieves. It had the same kind of impact that Sae having a palace in P5 did.
I love this stage, theme, and story but I'd say it fits with the others games. SPOILER P4 and P5 Where the daughter of the most prominent adult on your side ends up with a jail/palace/dungeon where she is dealing with her emotions about her mom's car death which was actually a murder conspiracy. P5 had Futaba and P4 had Nanako
She did have some grief and anger towards her dad and the culprit And anger could lead to trauma which means to Maddice: "BAM!!! you have the potential of a Monarch so here"
Really? From the second I saw her, I knew she'd be the "bratty teenage Monarch" at some point. She was too fussy and too irrationally unyielding on her father to not be a Metaverse villain.
That's my problem with jails 3-5 in general. 3 not so much but no doubt it was shorter than 1-2 and then 4-5 are waaaay too short. Was really sad to see how short they were especially 4 not even having a real boss battle. Thankfully jail 6 that I'm currently on is quite long and has for the most part made up for the disappointing middle part of the game.
@@haydencox7703 Well for where the story was heading, I see 4 and 5 as necessary. Okinawa was to progress other plot lines that weren’t touched on for a while, and 5 was only meant to be a trap for the thieves.
