    These videos truly are so helpful. I have been so extremely unwell with anxiety and unable to swallow since May. It came on basically overnight and this is the best channel I could ever imagine. I have tried everything even learning French between a full time job and was getting so much worse, such a relief to hear someone say all this. Thank you

    Sounds weird, but I'm glad I'm not the only person who's experienced this condition. It was hard to explain it to my family and therapists as a child.

    See when I was young and healthy it’s like OK I’m nervous after I turn 30 and had a real panic attack and sent me to ER that’s when the fear fear got real bad because it’s like the fear is going to destroy me and it’s hard to except that it’s not dangerous I still pop a half mill of lorazepam when I can’t take it

    Peter's been eating good food for 40 years. He knows how to reaction engineer his belly. He remembers the stuff. Peter fears what happens when he doesn't have good food for his belly. He sweats when he doesn't remember where he put his food. Peter doesn't lean into the anxiety when he forgot his food, he feeds his belly always before trashing his students let his lord God be his witness.

    I think I may be suffering from this in some way. I can’t explain it but I fear that I am living in fear if that makes sense. I have a fear that I have made life decisions out of fear and because of this I am living a fake life. Does that make sense? It makes me want to go do wild and crazy things to prove to myself that I am not living in fear. I also have ROCD and I’m scared that I am only with my husband out of fear. I am scared of being without him but I love him. Then I feel like I need to leave him to prove to myself that I am not scared. This happens with everything in my life. For example, I got a thought that maybe I want to be an actress and I should leave my husband to pursue this. I don’t want to be an actress and I don’t want to leave my husband. Then I think I’m just scared to do this so this means I have to go do it so I don’t live in fear.

      Fears intertwine, fear of fear & ROCD, recovery here involves breaking down why losing your husband isn’t as scary as you think + looking at why you believe anxiety is so scary and breaking that down. We provide coaching to help with this, if you are interested 📧 phil@ocdrecovery.com

    How does "getting more comfortable " feel / look like?? Anxiety and fear is so physically and mentally uncomfortable. Is it a mindset thing that gets easier with time ? Like fake it till you make it?

    • @miskellil96
      @miskellil96 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean that fear takes over your logic and make it hard to think straight so it's kinda hard to get comfortable and accept it in anxious moments

    So seems like OCD and GAD are almoust same thing? In GAD we are obsesed of how anxious we are. I am anxious 24/7, no compulsions just sick of it. Not taking meds, can functioning normaly do anything and go anywhere but its always there. Im in this for 3-rd time now after years of being free and forget about whole thing.

    Can your thoughts sometimes be more aggressive? for example in rocd most of my thoughts are like "do I love her" "am I happy" etc, but on an odd occasion it's a slightly louder thought in my head saying "you don't love her!!" which fills me with more fear than the "what ifs" and the questions that arise. Are these sorta intrusive thoughts normal?

    • @samgonzalez9280
      @samgonzalez9280 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes these are absolutely normal the best way you can approach this is to think that you have no intention behind these thoughts and to realize that these thoughts are actually showing you exactly how you don’t feel so in return you can thank them for showing you how you do not fee this is what helped me, hope it helps I can link a video to better understand
