    Green-Mopeds.com is a London based electric-only moped and motorcycle dealer and importer. We started in 2017 by signing a dealership with Torrot (torrot.com/) after initially seeing an electric moped for rent on holiday in Portugal.
    Since then we looked for more brands and became the UK Importer for ECCity Motorcycles from France (www.eccity-motocycles.com/) and then Super Soco (supersoco.co.uk/) from China.
    In early 2018 we were then approached by Askoll (www.askollelectric.com/) to be their first London dealer and soon followed by Lifan who were lauching their first moped the E3 (www.lifanmotos.net/product/ddc....
    Later in 2019 we also signed up with SurRon with their hugely popular and lightweight LBX Lightbee (www.sur-ron.com)
    Mid 2019, we signed up to be the first dealer for Niu (www.niu.com) and sold the first 9 of their new NGT model when it was launched at the end of 2019.
    In early 2020 the UK Importer for Torrot moved on to other things and we became their importer to support existing customers of the Muvi range.
    Later in 2020 after a request from a customer, we signed up with Artisan (artisanscooters.com/) to sell not only their brand but also Horwin (www.horwinglobal.com/) and Kollter (www.kollter.com/).
    Recently we have added ThElMoCo (thelmoco.com) who supply LVENG bikes (www.lvnengebike.com) and now SunRa (www.sunraev.com) and hence offering the broadest range of any electric motorcycle dealer in the UK.
    We have been approached by many manufacturers to become their importers which we will consider when the time is right.
    Always happy to help so please feel free to contact us through any of the channels below.

    Thanks for an EXCEPTIONAL buying experience for my EVO! The scooter is superb! The performance is night & day (52mph in Dynamic mode!),compared to my previous NQi GTS Pro. Haven’t had a opportunity to test the range full, but I reckon 50+ miles depending on the mode.

      Absolutely agree about performances! I tried them both today. I'd say the NQI is more agile, but I don't mind it too much. What's your feeling about it ? What's the range you used to get on the NQI?
      Thank you

    Great thorough coverage of the bike as usual. I’ve had one of these for the last couple of weeks, not as much ride time as I’d like thanks to a triple puncture on day one. Haven’t really paid close attention to the range as I’ve not really needed to but on my central London commute, using mostly Dynamic mode with a little bit of Sport mode, coasting naturally, I think I’m going to be getting 50+ miles out of it.
    I’ve actually found the cruise control pretty useful, to my surprise, on the 20mph roads, where the sensitive throttle of electric bikes can be a bit of an issue. That said, I’ve got to grips with the sensitivity of the throttle quite quickly, and found it easier than the Super Socos I’ve been on.
    I think you get used to the controls on whatever bike you spend time on but, yeah, I’ve had some impromptu hazard lights, less so the horn. But I’ve had that on the other bikes I’ve been on too.
    Storage is what it is but I can fit my 2m 13mm Pragmasis Protector chain and two locks under the seat, behind the batteries.
    Re: the new dash, it gives the bike a nice premium feel. I’m pretty sure it is on the 2022 NQis too. I certainly saw one with the same dash recently.
    Back to those punctures though, a real learning curve as an electric bike owner - none of the standard tyre or motorbike workshops near me would touch it due to the added complexity of disconnecting the cables under the seat storage liner.

      Yes, tyre changing can be challenging for some to deal with but we offer it

    Good:
    You are really right to criticize the position of the blinker and cruise control buttons, especially this one shouldn't exist, and instead it should have the reverse gear, that is, reverse gear, as the CPX and EK3 have.
    Good video well explained, here in Portugal I've already done the test ride on both MQI/Ev, and really the EV is another machine, closer to the EK3, with the EK3 having the advantage of having a bag to hide the cell phone, and having a battery space to store a city helmet.
    Good curves.
    Hug

    Hi looking at a electric scooter, I'm 40+ years old don't have any kind of CBT or anything (will do that when I'm sure about my purchase) & I don't drive, do you know why insurance is so expensive?
    Thanks Richard

    I love your videos and i have some questions since im intrested in NIU MQi GT.
    Is there anything else in your experience that is better or close to that model/brand? (Even other brands that offer better value).
    Are motorcycles with 2 batteries worst in general since the price of a replacement will be a lot higher?
    How long will a dual battery set up will last before it needs to be replayced?
    Also what's up with the no name motors? are they trust worthy compared to bosch?
    Because in general i see some brands like YADEA LEIMAN with fully cheap motorcycles and im wondering what's going on.
    Yeah sure battery quality motor quality and more but how bad can it be...?
    I know its a lot and sorry to bother you with so many questions
    Thank you so much for your time. ill be happy to hear your thoughts.

      For the same price you can get a Horwin EK3 with 1 x 72v 40ah battery (vesus 72v 56ah), same power and speed, chain driven and with some storage but no app. For more money, you can get the 9kw (vs 6kw) Silence S01 with storage for 2 full-faced helmets and more range.

    • @bobbycheese22
      @bobbycheese22 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd also consider the Sunra robo s -- same price, similar performance + range, a little lighter, but also has storage under the seat

    • @GreenMopeds
      @GreenMopeds  ปีที่แล้ว

      The main competitor is the Silence S01. As fast but more range and 50% more power

    • @GreenMopeds
      @GreenMopeds  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bobbycheese22 the Robo-S is cheaper and only 50% of the power, range similar, only 12" wheels

    May I ask about the anti stalling update. Has this ruined all the gt evos ? Have you noticed a difference from riding them before the update?

      apparently now the performance has been reverted back to how it was, i've been reading in forums.

    60mph on a pot hole? Would that be an issue? I have a yadi g5 and at full speed on a pot hole or hump/dip seems quite dangerous. I'm not a pro biker, maybe I'm doing it wrong.

    • @GreenMopeds
      @GreenMopeds  ปีที่แล้ว

      Larger wheels are typically better on pot holes yes

    Would be nice if NIU released an extended range version of this one.

    • @GreenMopeds

      Agreed. Have a feeling they are pushed for space under the seat for bigger capacity batteries though

    • @larsmenken2679
      @larsmenken2679 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are some discussions about it in the German elektroroller forum. The battery needed to make it a worthwhile upgrade might be outside the scope (by weight) where a lot of people would be able to carry them a couple of flights of stairs.
      However, a couple of guys have done astonishing ranges by riding it normally in city with some overland, much more than expected. But the guys ‘beasting’ it on the Autobahn saw a reduced range.

      @@larsmenken2679 Horwin have managed to get 2 x 72v 40ah under the seat of their smaller sized bike so its a design choice that NIU have
