Historians and academics have argued that the earliest of the gospels was written about 50 years after the death of Christ, with some arguing as early as 10 years after His death. For comparison, what we know about Alexander the Great comes from writings about him that were written at least 300 years after his death. The Bible has the shortest period between event and writing about the event among all the major historical writings of antiquity.

Also, how does the "of the time" argument work? God is infinite in time, so his actions and doctrine will always be as the bible say. Exactly! Men and women are NOT equal... Not equal anatomically. Not equal genetically. Not equal biochemically. Not equal psychologically. Not equal emotionally. Not equal socially. Not equal relationally. Not equal intellectually. Not equal historically. Men and women were never meant to be "equal." They are supposed be something far more than that... They are COMPLIMENTARY to each other. Men need women and women need men. They were never meant to compete against each other. That's a madness born from the fault of Relativism/Liberalism. Every word is important in order to fully understand the word of God and the hidden spiritual mysteries in the word. This is why man is not to add or take away from the word of God. Every word is important and key, and should never be replaced with another word. Get a KJV Bible.
Yeah, the word is shepherd and has many of words used interchangeably for Pastor including Elder and is clear that woman should not hold that role. But they can hold many others.
Anyone can be a Pastor. God’s gift is not gender based! e.g I ask, Can a woman pastor women? Can a woman pastor young boys and girls? Can a woman Pastor a man who is a young Christian? Can a woman lead people? If a woman can lead a Fortune 500 company, raise kids etc? The can do anything. Paul’s writing to the church on this regards is a Pastoral injunction to avoid conflict in the church. I would recommend we consider these issue in it context of time and attempt of Paul to resolve issues.
@@georgeodiana I hear what you are saying. If you use the term "Pastor" as a verb and you are saying it means to spiritually lead someone, care for them, and love them, then yes I would agree with you that is a role woman can and do have in many ways. But the word is used in the Bible as a specific role of leadership in the church. That role does include the verb "to pastor" it also includes other responsibilities that Paul is clear a woman should not hold. I also think it's dangerous to say "consider these issue in it's context of time." If you mean by that; Paul was influenced by his culture and therefore we should change what he meant I think that's a dangerous stance to take. The Bible is clear that is written by God and the authors we "carried along by the Holy Spirit." If we truly believe that we have to say God wrote what He wrote and He meant it to be truth for all times and places regardless of culture. Culture is always going to change, and that change comes largely from Satan because the Bible tells us He is the god of this age. So we should always we careful about reading culture into biblical truth.
@@Tylerjms7 Thank you for the kind response and this is for us to learn. (Not a debate or argument) as this is not a major issue and it does not separate us or divide us or change our faith in Jesus as Lord. I am curious though, "it also includes other responsibilities that Paul is clear a woman should not hold." what role are those? I have a couple of questions. To be clear on my stance. All gift is given to all "men" (everyone) to profit. Can a woman can be an evangelist? Can a woman can be a teacher? Can a woman can be a prophet (ess)? Can a woman can be an Apostle? Can a woman be a Pastor? Why do we draw the line at being Pastor? For the record, I am male and understand the life by design and gender. The MAN is FIRST, then the woman but also male and female made he them (in MAN). This is not a fight for woman's right or feminism. NO and NEVER!!! But simply biblical exactitude. Back to the text, Secondly, Paul comment was not necessarily cultural but primarily contextual but it will also not be entire to ignore cultural approach in dealing with issues. For instance, On head covering in worship (1 Cor 11) was primarily about order and honour. Today, women do not need to cover their head to show honour to her husband. The major part of the first letter to corinth is a Pastor counsel to resolve lots of issues in the church to promote orderliness. Lets take a look at the text used by most persons 33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace-as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people. 34 Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church. This was the "Recommendation" by Paul. SPEAK does not mean PREACH, it means TOTAL SILENCE. If they have any question.. ASK YOUR HUSBAND when you get home. This is largely cultural and contextual in those days. Today, women speak in churches, they teach, they do all these things. Why did Paul write this and why did he reference "THE LAW" and called it disgraceful. Historically, we realised that there were disputes in the church, women (and men) speaking and questioning in this church that led to disorderliness in the church. Hence the recommendation, as it was custom in those days. Secondly, he said let them ask their HUSBAND at home, oops. I guess these women were married. Does it apply to single women too? The point is this. This was Paul's attempt to bring order to the church leveraging the custom at that time by the WISDOM of the LORD. (This does not mean Paul was influenced by culture, it means he used it to resolve an issue. Why, because it produced God's will in that context which is ORDER in his church). This does not stop women from preaching, teaching, pastoring today. This is not me saying.. WOMEN MUST BE LEADERS or NOT. I am saying God is not opposed to it. He has called ALL to do his work and he is anointing everyone irrespective of gender to do his work and be a blessing. Joel 2,28,29 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. Kindly take a look at this. If a woman is your boss? Would you submit to her or would you ask her to be quiet? We will because it is not about Gender. It is about AUTHORITY. But in a marriage, a WIFE (WOMAN) MUST submit to her HUSBAND. even if she is the US President. In a church, All must submit to GOD and whoever, he puts in charge of his CHURCH!. Irrespective of gender. If for order in a system, we choose to aportion roles and it brings order. THAT IS FINE, as it produces ORDER and not confusion which is the WILL OF GOD. Finally, God's gift is to EVERYONE (It is not gender based) and LET ALL THINGS BE DONE DECENTLY AND IN ORDER! THIS IS NOT A GENDER AND WOMAN RIGHTS FIGHT. NEVER! I AM FOR ORDER, PEACE, AND UNITY. If you read to this point, you are great person. Thank you, I hope we learnt from this. You do not have to change your stance or forceful teach it. It is not a deep issue or affect your faith. It is only for UNDERSTANDING. Rememnber, in heaven, there is not GENDER neither do we marry or given to marriage. We will have new body and rejoice before GOD ETERNALLY.

They make it make sense more than any other online pastor. They both take the time to break down the information and talk it all out with critical thought. If Cliff or Stewart ever come to our universities, I would love to sit in on their conversations.
5:12 Stewart says Phoebe was trained to be a teacher, a leader speking to men. That is not true and is by best an assumption. Phoebe is only mentioned in Romans 16, 1-2, and she is described as a deacon and a sister. A deacon is described as a servant or a minister. So for Stewart to call her a leader and teacher for men is very stretched.
And then he goes in to talk about an "ancient manuscript" describing a disiple being tortured. Again he is stretching, by also pointing to non Biblical texts. I think this is weak.
@@cortexentthe Bible is written about God / Christ. He is the center focus. What happened to the disciples is of lesser importance. If the history of the disciples is taken from secular or external writings, it has little effect on the message of the Bible.

Timeline 5:05. WOMEN... Actually no, the bible does not say Phoebe was a preacher/teacher, it simply says she was a servant. And no, disciples are not leaders, we as Christ followers are called to be a disciple of Christ. They state the word "pastor" is not in the bible, correct, however where do we get the word pastor from, The word "pastor" derives from the Latin noun pastor which means "shepherd" and is derived from the verb pascere - "to lead to pasture, set to grazing, cause to eat". The term "pastor" also relates to the role of elder within the New Testament and is synonymous with the biblical understanding of minister. The term Pastor, Shepherd, and Elder are all the same position. They use the term "sexism" as to deflect from having equal positions. By using "being made in his image" and using it as having equal value is correct, however, values for male and female are not the same as the spiritual roles God calls each gender to play. And Cliff and his son will use the secular system "job-wise" as to mediate the roles for men and women spiritually. This is so wrong. While women are capable of handling most male positions, this does not mean she is called to teach and lead the church. Ability does not grant permission. In our modern culture too many twist the word of God in order to satisfy an ability or talent, or even an education. A woman can participate in prayer, prophecy, testimonies and singing. She is permitted to learn in all submissiveness and quietness. When Paul calls on women to be quiet, it is reference to learning God’s Word under the submission/authority of man and inquiring further at home if there is a spiritually mature husband, if not then biblical spiritual oversight should be sought. Because of specific commands she is not to teach nor pastor men or women, nor carry any authoritative position in church. She can serve administratively, but not authoritatively. Teaching is an authoritative role in church no matter who’s in attendance. Some may ask then why are women permitted to teach kids Sunday school? Bible stories, arts and crafts/coloring books are not exegetical teaching from scripture, especially in a public domain.
I totally agree with your statements! I’m a 35 year old female and I’m raising 2 young daughters in such a way that will hopefully lead them to hold this same truth. Most people I know say this will someday make them feel less than. I say no- it is empowering. To know where your God given power actually lies means you can learn to use it to better your life. That is empowering. The only thing I would add to what you said is that even in the workplace there are many jobs that a woman can’t do as well as a man, or simply shouldn’t do for her own safety. (Which I think you eluded to) This is simply because God also physiologically designed us different. Many women I know feel I’m wrong and will point to the rare exception to this rule.
@@saragrace1258 Great to hear. We are never at fault for staying within the council of scripture. Too many times others read into the text what is simply not there. It's by design why Jesus chose men (males) to train up and have the ability to preach/teach, exegete the Word of God. Even the apostles knew, when it was time to replace or appoint, it was always men/males. Now I will say women were used in the ministry in the N.T, and some even died for their faith. However, their service was never in leadership/authority positions, nor did they teach. Any service she was involved in, was under the direction of the apostles and male headship. There is not one example in the N.T of a woman preaching/teaching the Word publicly to a group whether mixed, all women or all men. In Titus Paul allows the older women to train the younger in the area of home rearing. How to honor and love their husbands at home while raising their children in the admonition of the Lord. This is not popular message in today's culturally driven church. Many get offended and call you names (misogynist etc) by pointing out the specifics in scripture on the subject. I have heard all the excuses others run to in order to find a loophole, dig up an O.T scripture (out of context), even use God's grace as permission for women to preach and teach the Word. Trust me, I've heard women preach the Word often times more consistent than a man. Still, the ability of one to do a task (spiritually speaking) is not cause for one to have the permissions to do so. Just because you can, does not mean you should. If you do, you yourself bring God's judgement upon your life. And it's not just about women on the matter. Not all men (Christians) are called to teach/preach. 1 Cor 11:3, But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God. Many believe this role of authority stops at the doors of the church. That a woman can lead and minister. Some will even say, "will as long as the headship is male, and as long as that headship gives the woman permission, she can preach". This is how the scriptures are so easily corrupted. Just as the Jews added many rules on top of the already given Mosaic Law, so goes with the N.T male church leadership, adding new scripture on top of the Word. Paul states the spiritual roles that men and women exemplify in the body of Christ are “foundational pillars” when it comes to church behavior and truth, 1 Tim 3:14-15. “I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.” 1 Tim 2:11-15 beautifully parallels 1 Cor 14:33-40. As in both passages the woman should learn under submissiveness of the man. It's not that the male is any better than the female or have any less faults. It's only by design. God's design.
However, Junia is an apostle. And Priscilla taught. She also preceded Aquilas her husband in mentions. There is an elder lady that John addresses his epistle to. She was clearly a leader. Women can teach. Those verses where the women are asked to be quite are not really reliable because early scriptures didn’t have it.
@@nehneh5488I agree. @@GreatBehoover That's a horrible way to approach scripture. In v9-10 of 1 Timothy 2 Paul uses the same expression to say "I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God." Paul says this as his opinion which is also God's opinion. Everything Paul said in his letters was given to him by the Spirit (Gal. 1:11-12).
@@kristiannorved704 Where exactly does he say it is "God's opinion"? Why would it be differentiated here if it were God's opinion? Why would Paul feel the need to show us this is NOT OF GOD but rather his own opinion... if it wasn't exactly what God wanted us to understand? THINK! What you just said is blasphemous. God never says humans have the opinions of God. Was it also God's will for David to marry multiple women? Was it God's opinion for Abraham to lie to Pharoah about hos wife? It's not looking down on a woman to say a women should not be in the roll of leadership in the church. There are different rolls not less valuable, not more valuable, just different make up, it is obvious woman can lead, and sometimes better than men, but that is not the order God has ordained, thinking of some women in the Bible who where leaders, like Abigail who didn't support her evil husband, or Deborah who told borak that it was his job to lead, and he would not. So there is a time when women should lead, when men refuse to or are to weak to lead. The norm is not a women leaders.
Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman can be a pastor in the New Covenant. Simple really. I suggest my short and free essay on Deborah. Men and women are perfectly equal spiritually. She was a pastor, according to the scriptures. This is how the Judges are described in Chronicles, by God. A woman could only be given the authority by God to execute a man for his sin, if women are spiritually equal to men. A Judge could judge homicide cases according to Deuteronomy. Therefore Deborah, as a Judge, could execute a man for his sin. A Judge was cleared to teach from scripture as he/she gave a verdict, according to Deuteronomy. Since in Judges 4, men went to Deborah to be judged, a woman could teach men, even in the Old Covenant in a public setting. This setting in Deborah's case was under a palm tree. She used to sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the sons of Israel went up to her for judgment. -excerpt Judges 4

Why is it sick that slave masters took their slaves to church? If I really wanted to keep my slaves beneath me, the LAST thing I would do is introduce them to Christ.
Because the pastors made sure to read scriptures they thought would keep the slaves from rebellion. There are certain scriptures that talk about slaves and would twist it. Another reason they didn’t want slaves learning to read….
If that were true then nobody should be able to tell the difference they would be absolutely the same. Most people notice they aren’t in many physiological and psychological ways. They are equal in importance and responsibility to the same cause, in value, and in complimentary parts of a whole. If they are committed to the whole instead of self-interest then love occurs.
Love you work as always, but Stuart claiming that the word "pastor" isn't in the NT is technically true, but misleading. Pastor comes from "shepherd" and comes from the word used for "overseer" or "elder" in the Bible. So yes, in our culture a woman can be a "pastor" in a cultural sense that isn't unbiblical (like leading the children or women's ministry). BUT we should not be afraid to talk about how the Bible is extremely clear that women are not to be overseers, elders, or pastors over men in the church. We might not like it and wish it wasn't in there, but that doesn't change the fact that that is how God set up His Church.
THE WORD "PASTOR" is literally in the Bible Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you PASTORS according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
I respectfully beg to differ with Cliffe when he says the New Testament reads as historical narrative, I've asked this question many times, how would someone historically verify the ascension of Jesus floating up into the sky and sitting at the right hand of God?, it's impossible to verify such an event.
Right. Special pleading all over the place. Even if one believed ascension after death was possible, why is Jesus the only one who could have achieved this?
God is able to see our yesterday, today and tomorrow. I like to say "that is none of my business". My business is to accept and believe in Jesus, look to Jesus, and rest in His Grace.

Love the discussion on supposed contradictions. My pastor has shown us some really cool things in passages that appear to not line up. For instance, in the span of the Resurrection morning, a lot of things happen: visits by various disciples, one angel versus two, the women reporting to the men, Jesus telling Mary to tell Peter He's risen, etc. The timeline is intriguing. Now, whenever I come across "contradictions", I get excited because it means there's some neat gem just waiting to be found.
Recent videos about Christian apologetics did get me going about how the Bible really is like a big puzzle mystery novel where while learning good morals you also try to piece things altogether and find something you weren't able to find before.
If you believe that Paul was given the Word from Christ on the road to Damascus then you must believe when he states: 11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women[c] will be saved through childbearing-if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
A thought on the young man that asked Jesus to wait until he buried his parents before following Jesus. He was actually saying that he would do it later in his life. It might be years before his parents died.
Something thats intereting is last week i was watching a compilation of Cliffe being asked questions. The questioners there were rsther hostile, i dont know if it was another university or what. But in this one it was a relief to see the guys and ladies asking, genuinely asking, to find out what Cliffe and Stuart were thinking. Good questions and really questions it seems that came from their hearts. Kudos to all these students. I will say the only student that is a problem is one who isnt moved at all by what Cliffe quotes from the Bible. Hostile students and genuinely interested students are much better people to engage with. The reason is because both have been hit by the gospel. Its easier to work with someone and engage with someone who has been hit squarely between the eyes by the gospel than someone who has kinda passed by the gospel and given it a kurt nod.
I would like to hear Mr. Craig include the *New Birth* in his responses somehow (Ezekiel 37/John 3, etc).
Perhaps sooner given the pre-confessional form seen in Paul's creed in 1 Corinthians. This is perhaps the closest document we have to Jesus's death and resurrection.
@@garrettfish8471There are clues in Acts of the Apostles that it was written as early as 62 AD, Which would make the date of Luke’s Gospel 59-60 AD.

Thank you for the kind response and this is for us to learn.
Back to the text,
Secondly, Paul comment was not necessarily cultural but primarily contextual but it will also not be entire to ignore cultural approach in dealing with issues.
For instance, On head covering in worship (1 Cor 11) was primarily about order and honour.
Today, women do not need to cover their head to show honour to her husband.
The major part of the first letter to corinth is a Pastor counsel to resolve lots of issues in the church to promote orderliness.
Lets take a look at the text used by most persons
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace-as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.
Joel 2,28,29
“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

The Bible definitely makes it clear that she was servant to the church, and the scripture makes it clear as well that she was a helper to many- but it never states that she was a teacher to anyone. I know he meant well but this is how scripture can be misinterpreted.

Actually no, the bible does not say Phoebe was a preacher/teacher, it simply says she was a servant.
And no, disciples are not leaders, we as Christ followers are called to be a disciple of Christ.
They state the word "pastor" is not in the bible, correct, however where do we get the word pastor from,
The word "pastor" derives from the Latin noun pastor which means "shepherd" and is derived from the verb pascere - "to lead to pasture, set to grazing, cause to eat".

Now I will say women were used in the ministry in the N.T, and some even died for their faith.
However, their service was never in leadership/authority positions, nor did they teach.
Any service she was involved in, was under the direction of the apostles and male headship.
There is not one example in the N.T of a woman preaching/teaching the Word
publicly to a group whether mixed, all women or all men.
In Titus Paul allows the older women to train the younger in the area of home rearing.
How to honor and love their husbands at home while raising their children in the admonition of the Lord.
This is not popular message in today's culturally driven church.
Many get offended and call you names (misogynist etc) by pointing out the specifics in scripture
on the subject.
I have heard all the excuses others run to in order to find a loophole, dig up an O.T scripture (out of context),
even use God's grace as permission for women to preach and teach the Word.
Trust me, I've heard women preach the Word often times more consistent than a man.
Still, the ability of one to do a task (spiritually speaking) is not cause for one to have the
permissions to do so.
Just as the Jews added many rules on top of the already given Mosaic Law, so goes with the
N.T male church leadership, adding new scripture on top of the Word.
Paul states the spiritual roles that men and women exemplify in the body of Christ are “foundational pillars” when it comes to church behavior and truth, 1 Tim 3:14-15. “I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.”
1 Tim 2:11-15 beautifully parallels 1 Cor 14:33-40.
@@nehneh5488 no my friend Junia was not an apostle, Priscilla never taught, and the elder lady you mention was never a leader. Good try though.
@@nehneh5488I agree. Women can teach…other women per Titus 2:3-8:
the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things- 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
Women can pray and prophesy as well

What about 1 Timothy 2:11-12 I do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man/ is it Not Paul who is describe different role for men and women in the Church
Paul said "I do not permit"! He differentiated it from God's permission.
@@kristiannorved704
Where exactly does he say it is "God's opinion"?
Why would it be differentiated here if it were God's opinion? Why would Paul feel the need to show us this is NOT OF GOD but rather his own opinion... if it wasn't exactly what God wanted us to understand?
THINK!
What you just said is blasphemous. God never says humans have the opinions of God. Was it also God's will for David to marry multiple women? Was it God's opinion for Abraham to lie to Pharoah about hos wife? Just because they did it does not make it God's Word.
One other problem. God has ZERO "OPINIONS". God doesn't need them. He is 100% TRUTH.
@@GreatBehoover no my friend, when it comes down to gender roles and behavior in the church, Paul received his teaching from Jesus himself, as he states "the things I write to you are commands from the Lord".

Paul is referring to women having conversations (likely even about the prophesies as well) causing a disorderly chatter in the curch. He said to stay silent and ask your husband later about the meanings. This entire passage's section has to do with ORDERLY worship! He even tells certain men to be silent as well here. It is not a ban on Women speaking in church. It is a ban on disorderly chatter or conversations. Remember that church was far more unstructured at this time. Paul had to teach them how to behave to be most beneficial.
Remember that in chapter 11, paul speaks of women prophesying and praying.
Remember he is settling on ORDERED WORSHIP innthese chapters. When you take chapter 14 out of context with the WHOLE of Corinthians, you are in danger 9f imposing YOUR interpretation over the scriptural context.
Careful with that!

Men and women are both children of God. They’re equal AND not equal. Equal in their role to serve God, but not equal in how they do it. Both have gender-specific roles. Regardless of our biological differences, we are to be in harmony with one another. It’s a sin to undermine your wife. It’s a sin to undermine your husband. God created this system to be a perfect partnership. The Great Fall tainted this system. We are all forgiven. However, we all have a righteous duty to be vigilant of sin so that we don’t fall victim of an already and more sinful and corrupt partnership.
Lord have mercy. ❤️

Since a woman could be a pastor in the Old Covenant, a woman
can be a pastor in the New Covenant.

Men and women are equal in value but not made in the same way!
FOUND THE WORD PASTOR IN THE BIBLE: Ephesians 4:10 He, the very one who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things. 11 And he himself[l] gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,[m] 12 to equip[n] the saints for the work of ministry, that is, to build up the body of Christ
Physicist & Nobel laureate Arno Penzias, in contemplating this amazing design in our universe, came to this conclusion:
“Astronomy leads us to a unique event, a universe that was created out of nothing, and delicately balanced to provide exactly the conditions required to support life. In the absence of an absurdly improbable accident, the observations of modern science seem to suggest an underlying, one might say, supernatural plan.”
Jer 17: 16 KJV - As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was right before thee.
Around 6:00 in the video he says pastor is not in the bible but it does appear 1 time.

Another reason they didn’t want slaves learning to read….
you guys are the best
Men and women are absolutely equal :)
If we are equal then why did I always have to pay on the first date?? 😂😂. I’m jk
The word Pastor is in the bible (Ephesians 4:11)
But no man is perfect
THE WORD "PASTOR" is literally in the Bible
Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you PASTORS according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Mr Cliffe, the word PASTOR is in the Bible. With all due respect, please correct that statement
I respectfully beg to differ with Cliffe when he says the New Testament reads as historical narrative, I've asked this question many times, how would someone historically verify the ascension of Jesus floating up into the sky and sitting at the right hand of God?, it's impossible to verify such an event.
I mean it’s pretty obvious it is if you actually believe the Bible lol
@@notme5205 Yes indeed, it requires a lot of belief.
You cannot historically verify anything to do with the supernatural. It requires some faith.
Right. Special pleading all over the place. Even if one believed ascension after death was possible, why is Jesus the only one who could have achieved this?

Not believing in something is not a religion

Cliff watching Stewart and smiling is the most wonderful wholesome thing ever. He looks so proud.
I would like to hear Mr. Craig include the *New Birth* in his responses somehow (Ezekiel 37/John 3, etc). Although I know he is trying to prove his faith to the intellectual, it may be beneficial to also include that there is also super natural consequences to those who believe, such as the new birth, new heart, new desires, etc; and that he actually experienced this "New Birth" which changed his life. ❤
