Idaho has a Potato museum, and it’s everything I hoped for!

I flew into Idaho to visit some family of ours and I decided to visit this national treasure today. It was everything I could’ve hoped for and more! I now know more about potatoes than ever before and probably more than I needed to know. I unfortunately still haven’t managed to get the smell of potato off me and I now have PTSD when I hear the word “potato.” I also occasionally have nightmares of Mr. Potato head chasing me in my sleep. But besides that it was totally worth the $6! 💪🥔

The street numbering system is pretty clever, especially in Salt Lake City. It indicates how many blocks north, south, east, or west your are from the temple, which is usually in the center of town. So 800 North would be 8 blocks north of the temple, or center of town.

You forgot to stop by the potato factory. Spudnik where they manufacture various machines for potato planting, harvesting, and storage.
