If your clock and radio stations and other settings reset each time you start your vehicle, the in-dash receiver may have an improper connection for the Yellow Wire. The Yellow Wire must have constant power from the vehicle. This means if the vehicle is switched on or switched off, the yellow wire should measure at ~12 volts. The Red Wire is for accessory. You can view the red wire as the receiver’s on/off switch. I'm not aware of any setting to change on the in-dash receiver to change how the image is displayed. I recommend to try some different images of possibly higher or lower resolution. Or possibly images from a different camera, or from a different USB drive. The images you see in the video are very high resolution. They were shot on a 24 megapixel camera. Each .jpg image is about 4-6 MB is size.
