- A month ago we decided to take a break from Instagram and TH-cam to focus on our mental health and unwind after 10 crazy months. You can read more about why here: / b3sksq6a3qm
But we're baaaack! And we're so excited to reunited with all of you! In this vlog we're sharing what we have been up to since our last vlog (which was filmed mid September) and how we plan to better juggle working full time jobs + doing our blog full time. We can't wait to share more adventures with you soon!

Hi y'all! We’re Adam and Kathryn, an adventurous married couple living in a Sprinter van! You can often find us scoping out the best coffee shops, eating tacos, climbing mountains, cuddling our fur child Kona, and dreaming about Hawaii.
We created Adventures of A+K to help busy, budget conscious, and adventurous travelers maximize their vacation time and money wherever they go through detailed travel guides, vlogs, and resources. Our goal: to help you spend less time (and stress!) planning your trip and more time enjoying it!

Welcome back guys! I just wanted to let you know how much your vlogs from Italy helped my husband and I plan our trip there that we will be taking this coming summer! We can’t wait... thank you for all you do! If you’re ever in Cleveland, OH we’d be happy to show you around and more importantly, take you to the best restaurants. We’re quite the foodies here in CLE ☺️

I got into that "gotta post on Wednesday" mindset & nearly drove myself crazy. Once I figured out that nobody cares if I post on Wednesday, Friday or Monday (or this week or next for that matter) then I relaxed & started posting when I want to. I can't tell you the enormous relief I now feel. You guys are doing a great job & we'll all be here whenever you post ;-)
Yes yes yes! We felt so much pressure, but the only people putting pressure on us were ourselves. We’re doing the best we can and if we force things they won’t be authentic and we will go crazy, so we’d rather just do things when they feel right. I’m glad you can relate!

Absolutely! We always want to make everyone happy, which is great in some ways, but can also be a fault if we burn ourselves out. Excited to focus more on our health, which we believe will only make the vlogs better!

It’s so hard! Especially because we really enjoy writing blogs too and those take a few days to knock out. We’re glad you understand! We wish we could do more (and we will every once in a while), but we’d rather post once a week than not at all!

Hey welcome back guys! I was wondering where you all went! Seemed like you were posting pretty much every other day for a while
We were posting a lot and it was super tough! We enjoy sharing lots of videos, but between everything else we work on, having to find good WiFi now, etc, it got to be super challenging. We hope to increase the videos again in the future once we get back in a groove!
I totally get the deep rest issue. Do whatever you need. I’ll wait😘. You two had been really going at it....phew! I have to commend those of you who do the TH-cam. I could neverrr. 🙋🏼♀️Kona!

It was probably the busiest “break” ever! Lol! It was good timing though, because with two weeks of work travel we wouldn’t have been able to film or edit!

The rec centers in Highlands Ranch, CO are just $7 a day for non-residents and have showers and WiFi.
Ah good to know! We have been using Planet Fitness for showers and it has been great (and forces us to workout 😜)!

Great video! Why isn't the van able to handle snow? You mean living in it through a snowstorm/low temps or just in general?
The tires aren’t the best for the snow, so to stay safe on the roads we want to avoid it. We also have to be super careful about the pipes freezing! We are also wimps lol 🥶🥶
